1 starI would give zero stars if I could. I ordered some outfits for my children for Christmas from The Children's place and when I received the package from the shipping company they use Lasership, the package was damaged and 2 of the dresses I ordered were missing from the package. I called Children's Place and they told me so had to reach out to the carrier or file a dispute with my financial institution. Terrible costumer service and didn't try anything to help with a resolution to the problem. And also when I reached out to the carrier they told me that I needed to speak with the seller because it is their responsibility to refund for missing items. I then called Children's place back and was told the same answer I was previously told. Very disappointed in their costumer service.Review fromDanielle O

1 starI would give 0 stars if I could. I purchased a coat online from TCP and it was never delivered. They use an outsourced shipping service (lasership). Who claimed my package was delivered. It never was I was home, my dog never barked, i checked when i got the delivery email, I even checked with my neighbors. No package. They do not take photographs for proof of deliver and TCP customer service did not offer me a refund or replacement for the item ordered. I now have to go through my bank to dispute the charge. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I will never buy again from them nor would I recommend.Review fromStephany J

1 starAfter having my package lost I contacted *** which prompty directed me to contact CP customer service. Once I did finally get a hold of someone there (after a week of messages, requests and emails going unanswered) I was told that's the responsibility of ***. So back and forth I went. The final time *** sent me back to CP I broke down. I had my screenshots from ***, I had all the information on the order and still CP just said too bad, contact your bank because we can't help you. 1 starI used to purchase a ton of Gymboree when it was owned by former management, like entire collections for my 5 children. I never had an issue with the previous management or any other online company. Since the change, I have had an insane number of packages go missing. When this happens the company will only give you points and not reimburse your money. I have needed to dispute these transactions with my bank.Most recently I was trying to use a coupon for my oldest sons birthday to order 19 current items for my children to wear for upcoming photos. When I called customer service, I was told that the coupons cannot be used until after the 15th of the month. Isnt the point of the coupon so that they can wear the clothes for birthday events (free advertising)? When I called customer service I received unbelievably rude and unprofessional customer service. I am a customer service supervisor for a competitor and would have been fired for treating customers that way. They make it extremely difficult to purchase from them. I am also a well-known mom blogger in our large city and will be sharing my experiences with my many followers and make it clear why we are not wearing Gymbo for this years birthday photos.Review fromBrittany A

1 starI have never had a problem ordering from here until recently I ordered on August 18th 2022 my item was apparently shipped and delivered on August 24th 2022. It was not in fact delivered so I called The Children's Place they sent me to my bank my bank sent me back to the Children's Place, call The Children's Place they sent me to the delivery company. the delivery company sent me to my bank and the childrens place. This is been going on now for well over two weeks everybody sending me back and forth my bank can't dispute it because I made the transaction it was me it was not fraudulent yes I made the purchase but I never got it the Children's Place is refusing to do anything saying that they are not able to issue refunds what the heck is going on I want my money back I had to go and spend an extra $200 and I just to get her enough school clothes to pass by when I spent $253 here I absolutely will never recommend this place I will never be back and I recommend nevermore everrrr everrr ordering from this place.Review fromAshley H

1 starI visited this location to purchase a pair of shoes for my 5 year old daughter. I have been a rewards member for year's and I was also sent a $10 off coupon. I went to the front desk to speak with a manager, as the service in the ********************* was terrible, and later came to find out that the Children's Place website was down. The lady at the front desk who said she was the manager was extremely rude and irritate with me the whole time. I was waiting for the app to load to retrieve my coupon, and she was huffing and puffing the whole time, and talking a co-worker and kept saying "oh my god, we are shutting this store down right at 5:30pm, I can't take any more of this today." That was inappropriate for a manager to sit there and talk to one of her employees about. I asked if she could go into my rewards account to try to locate coupon, or take a look at the email I received, and she was very nasty and kept saying no your going to have to get it from the app, which she knew was down and having technical issues, and refused to try to assist me. I asked for her name and the district managers name and she refused to give me either. She said she didn't have to give me any information at all. When I asked for customer service corporate, I tried to call while standing there, it was the wrong number. She said she was the full time day manager with an attitude, and said you can leave the store. This is horrible, horrible and unacceptable behavior for any store employee, let alone a manager. All I can give you is a description of her from yesterday around 4:00pm eastern standard time. Young mixed lady, with long black hair, with a terrible customer service persona, and terrible mannerism. I ended up leaving the shoes, and going to Finish Line to purchase the shoes for school for my daughter. I have shopped in this store for many, many years and have never been treated this way. 1 starAbsolutely the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. The agent I chatted with today, *****, ended the chat mid conversation. They apparently shipped part of my order on August 11th. It has been awaiting carrier pickup since the order shipped. I have been waiting 8 days for any type of update. It was supposed to be delivered by today and there is no way it will get here by EOD when it hasn't even shipped yet. 1 starNever have I received such HORRIBLE customer service or been disrespected by the MANAGER of a store. This store is always in complete chaos, and after visiting the store FIVE different times to pick up the same online order (already charged to my card!) and waiting almost an hour each time before leaving because lines were NOT moving and employees were being RUDE to everyone, I decided to send my husband when they opened. Not only was he disrespected, they REFUSED to help, refused to speak to me and turned him away even though he had the order #, confirmation email, my ID and me on FaceTime with him. They told him their phones were out and they wouldnt answer me if I called as well as Good luck calling customer service. Im sure theyd love to hear from you! Im sorry but this is not how you treat people and not how you operate a business! I have been a customer over 10 years with both store and online purchases and have NEVER had any issues until now. These individuals should be fired, they have no business treating customers this way! You have LOST so much business from a once loyal customer! Dont visit the ********, ** location! Hopefully they cancel my order and refund in a TIMELY manner! And lets hope I can find uniforms for my children so late!Review fromAlishia P

1 starI went to return socks that were never worn except to try them on as well as other items that were too big. I was hoping to finish my school shopping as well. I was not able to finish. First of all, the store looked like a bomb went off in there, clothes piled on top of the display racks, clothes all over the floor and totally chaotic, making it practically impossible to find anything. I ended up finding some items and to my surprise, there was NO PLACE for my daughter to try on these clothes. I drove 30 min to find clothes and was not about to leave with the wrong size, so we tried on clothes in the back hallway over the top of what she was wearing. So far, NOT a good experience.I went to go stand in line to return my items and buy what I could find that fit and when I got to the front, I was told the socks were worn, and were not able to be returned. I explained to them that the socks had to "worn" to be tried on, but it turned into an argument...over socks?? I showed the people at the register who all by this time had stopped what they were doing to form a semi circle around me, all of them were not listening to what I was saying about the socks being damaged without ever being used, but they ALL accused me of yelling, of "getting in their space" even though there is a counter between us. I was simply leaning in so they would stop accusing me of yelling. I could not win with this group, so I asked for a manager. I was told he wasn't there, they didn't know where a manager was, that the manager was out to lunch, so I asked for his card. Finally a manager came out and told me that they would do the return for me this once. They threatened to call security,...over socks...As the girl was processing the return, she told me that I was a bad mother. SHE told ME i was a BAD MOTHER with my 4 and 6 year old standing RIGHT THERE!?!?!?! It was everything I could to to contain my fury.
