On November 27th I purchased 8 items from Juvia's Place for their black friday sale. I waited 10 days for an email with my tracking information or any time of update on my order. I finally became concerned about the lack of communication, so I sent in an email, a direct messagae on instagram, and a message on ********* I received a response saying they were running behind and were running off of peak shipping estimated shipping dates. I looked at the website and it said **** business days during peak times for an order to ship. So, I continued to wait. After about 3 more days I began to complain on multiple platforms. Finally, I got tracking information days later. My order arrived 4 weeks after the date that I placed the order. Once I opened the box and counted the items, I immediately knew something was missing. I was beyond upset. I reached out to let Juvia's Place know there were items missing. They asked for a picture of the items that were in the box and I sent that. We confirmed what was missing. Next email I get they say the item is out of stock they can give a store credit!!!!!! How the heck does that make sense. How was I able to purchase an item that is out of stock!!!!!?? And then they have the audacity to give me store credit!!!! Not a refund. They knew the item was missing!!!!!! This company is a scam. After reviewing their website and other platforms they do this ALL THE ************* Or they just ignore the email.Initial Complaint

I placed an order with Juvias Place on 11/25/22. The order was shipped on 12/7/22 and I received the package shortly thereafter. I had ordered 6 items, and 3 of the items are completely wrong - an entirely different item I do not want or need and that cost significantly less than what was paid for the correct items. Juvias place only has an email contact for customer service issues/inquiries. There is no phone number or other way of contacting the business. Since my package arrived, I have emailed the business several times with no response. I would like either a replacement or a refund on the incorrect items but over the last 2 weeks have been unable to get in contact with anyone at the business to resolve this. *** tried contacting this company multiple times in response to cancelling my order, they have not responded to any of my emails YET, ive asked for a refund because I no longer want to deal with this and its almost like theyre scamming people, why still make posts about something when 85% of your customers havent received tracking or are receiving the wrong items? They could make a statement about delay in orders but they dont have any customer service whatsoever.Initial Complaint

This the 3rd attempt regarding my order #2******0 which has been paid in full. An order that was used as a raffle/fundraiser to fund our special education afterschool program. I never received it & the raffle already happened, was told it was on its way in the last transmittal with a follow up with the shipping department. No refund, no options/replacement. Did not receive order #2******0 in time for the raffle on 12/9/2022. The parent agreed to pick up on 12/16/2022. It has been almost a month & the items were never, received, nor communication, or even apologies made/offers to correct the clear issue at the hands of Juvias Place, let alone a follow up from Juvias Place. Additional funds was utilized to purchase a gift card in the amout of $225.00 (two hundred twenty five dollars & zero cents) to Ulta to replace the value of what the parent would have received for the items ordered at the non-sale price value on 12/16/2022.Due to the mishandling, ********************************** of my Juvias Place order paid in full a sales transaction a total of: $288.89 (two hundred eighty-eight dollars & eighty-nine cents) was spent., which includes the $63.89 (sixty-three dollars & eighty-nine cents) I ordered on 11/25/2022 (almost a month ago, at 21 calendar days, 3 weeks.)No further communication since 12/9/2022, did not receive the items. I have no choice but to request the BBB, ***************** ***** Banking, intervene further.BE CAREFUL ORDERING FROM JUVIAS PLACE. THIS BY FAR HAS BEEN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I made a purchase online with Juvias Place on 11/25. On 12/05, I emailed them requesting a status update for my order. They sent a standard copy/paste response. It was apparent due to them not answering the direct questions within my email correspondences. I also attempted to FB message, and IG message them with no success. It has been proven that Juvias Place has a pretty nefarious practice to force consumers to pay for their expedited shipments. They deliberately withhold shipments, change the delivery timeline after purchase and lie about how busy they are. When in reality, when they advertise a sale, consumers have heard about the horror stories of shipping. Consumers then pay the additional $15-$20 for shipping. Which in turn, customers end up paying full price. Shipments arrive **** STANDARD MAIL. Theyre also clever enough to ensure that they NEVER place the *** for your purchases. Why? They refuse to be liable for their unethical business practices. Or, you have documentation of the unethical practice and then not being transparent with consumers. . Consumers dont pay attention to their strategy to manipulate them into paying full retail price via shipping gouging. I will never do business with them again. There droves of cosmetics companies that value customers and wouldnt do something so horrible for so long! Might I add that they also have a practice of selling customers micro volume of product and charging them full retail price. Prime example are their eyebrow products and the lip liner. The pencil isnt even a 1/5 the size of the plastic tube its in. Its only worth 10 uses. Add it up, you have to repeat buy, adds up to $40 for a lip liner. It isnt worth it. They dont answer, dont ship the products, dont rectify the problem and most importantly, they dont care!
