      Goodleap took over a ***** loan tvat I have to installe a home solar system by Orbit Solar Power.The project was complete with numerous outstanding issues such as system malfunctions, electricity payments higher than before installation.Warranty replacement and repair problems.The company filled for bankruptcy last Nov 2022 leaving me with a ***** bill and a system that is not working properly.

      We have solar panels and paid for them with a loan. The loan is predatory and the orbit company is bankrupt. We have no one to service the panels.

      The company filled for chapter 11 last year 2022 without any information or notice to existing customers. We have no information on our warranty on the solar panels parts and roof which was part of the contract.

      Back in 2021 we purchased/financed a water treatment system for our home upon moving back in after being displaced because of tornado damage. Our well sat stagnant for a year and they also put a ** light into our system to kill bacteria. As stated in the contract, we were supposed to have a lifetime warranty on all parts, media, and labor. We were also supposed to receive a 5-year soap package through a partnered company. I tried calling the two numbers I found online for Orbit Water Solutions, as well as the phone number on the stickers on the filtration tanks. All of these numbers are disconnected. It has been two years since we got our water treatment system, and it has only been serviced once in 2022. It is now time for our next service and I cannot get a hold of anyone. The alarm is going off on the ** light that the bulb needs to be replaced. My family and I could now be drinking tainted water. I don't know what to do now. If they went bankrupt can we get refunded for the loan amount and the payments that we have already paid? What have you all instructed others to do? I cannot fathom why we, as customers, were not informed that they were no longer in business our services/warranties could/would be transferred to in order to be able to keep the system running properly. The loan company said we have no choice but to pay it, but we are paying for something that will not have been serviced for a year and has parts that need to be replaced. Orbit was also supposed to provide us with needed salt bags every year for the water softener that we will not not be receiving and have to purchase out of pocket.

      In February 2022, I entered into an agreement with Orbit Energy and Power (AND LOAN COMPANY GOODLEAP) to purchase and install solar panels on my property. During the sales process, I was promised various discounts and potential energy savings. However, since the installation, I have not received any of the promised discounts as discussed at the time of purchase.My frustrations extend beyond the lack of discounts. The installation process itself resulted in severe damage to my roof. The nails used during the installation were inserted too deeply, causing them to penetrate the interior ceiling of my house. As a result, there are multiple leaks throughout my home, causing significant damage to both the exterior of the roof and the interior ceiling. This damage has also created conditions that have allowed mold to grow in light fixtures, further exacerbating the situation. I am deeply concerned about the health implications this may have for my family.

      Back in July 2021 orbit installed a GMES800804BN ******* 80% Eff 80KBTU Gas Furnace and a GSX130361 3.0 Ton AC Condenser **** SEER with a **************** parts and compressor warranty also a Matching 3.0 Ton Evaporator coil which also has a **************** parts warranty the number on the unit ************** is not working I need service done to my unit who can I reach out too to honor the warranty since orbit is no longer in business

      We purchased solar and a new roof 2 years ago. The roof came with a warranty of 25 years for any issues. We recently had a leak and tried to contact Orbit only to find they are no longer in business and we never received notification or instructions on who would be continuing the warranty they provided. I am unable to find who to contact or their attorneys info to contact. We now are without the warranty promises and currently paying out of pocket for the roof issue along with worrying about future issues! Please help!

      I had solar system installed by orbit solar energy December *********************************************************************************************** When they finally installed the system it did not past inspection then it took 2 months for it to pass inspection and then for them to submit paper work to ppl my electricity provider it took weeks. I was paying the system before service started working, but now that I have solar energy Im paying more electricity then ever plus solar system payment. This is by far my worst mistake ever. Im all about getting together to *** them.

      June 22, 2022 I signed contract with Orbit Solar to install solar panels on my home... September 6th they installed the panels and all wiring.. December 2022 I made my 1st payment on a project that was not approved by inspections. I kept contacting Orbit Solar about the inspections... I ended up contacting the inspection company to get Orbit and ******************** moving on getting a inspection date. First time inspector did not show..2nd time inspector came and had to wait till Orbit Solar sent them the correct updated paperwork. Short story ... I had to call and bug both parties to get things approved. I had already made 3 months of payments on a system that was not online and approved. I was promised by Orbit Solar customer service that I would get reimbursed for those payments since it was their fault. I continued to call for a few weeks..they kept telling me I was on the list to get a check cut and sent out to me. Well... needless to say I found out they we out of business after the phone numbers stopped working and I searched online and seen other customers complaining of the same things and stating the company was closed. I wish to have my 3 months of payments refunded to me ..and a name and number of the company who has taken over ownership and responsibility of the Solar installation and panel warranty. A few months after I had signed the contract I found out online that they had a bad customer service and customer reports.. Otherwise I wished I had gone with a local company that had great customer ratings.
