They are making me pay more than they originally said they would charge. I keep calling and calling, just to find out today they went out of business. The finance office won't help me either.

Getting our taxes done and presented our accountant with the paperwork to get the tax credit. Paper not filled out correctly and we are over 2 hours away and dont have access to the contract. I looked up the # to call and they are BANKRUPT?! WTF! This is CRAZY! So now we feel duped and crazy for going with this company. I initially gave an ok review because they took their time sending our rebate check. The good review was basically for our Sales Person. Class Action????

I, too, am in the position of having purchased a water treatment system last year from the now bankrupted Orbit Energy & Power. I've learned that complaints and requests to be included as a creditor on the bankruptcy should go to *****************************, Trustee. You can also contact Orbits' attorney, ****************************, III **************************************. This site won't allow me to include phone numbers, but you can ****** all.Additionally, call ******** to talk to someone about your water treatment system. They can give you dealers in your area that can service your system. Please pass this on to others and on other platforms.

I worked for Orbit in 2020. I signed up for the insurance they provided. The insurance didn't start till the day I got fired because the second owner was stealing money to start his own solar company. I had insurance for a job i didn't have anymore from July to December. I got my own insurance to find out I was still covered under Orbit. I called, emailed, nothing. That's their angle. They made us harass customers 4 times a day, write fake reviews (I wouldn't) and literally no one knows how to do the job. Technicians were old drunken friendships, solar was illegals ( Cheaper to pay) and zero training. It's a bunch of idiots who got power and didn't know how to use it. Any complaints are to be hung up on and ignored. If I could afford a lawyer I would have fought harder.

Going solar with orbit has been stressful. After the panels were installed Orbit never sent the necessary paperwork to our electric company to have the meter swapped. We were even shown a falsified document stating that the meter was swapped August 30th. After back and forth argument that ******** (electric company) had no records of us even going solar, Orbit finally admitted that there was a miscommunication on their end and the meter was finally swapped in October. Then again, Orbit failed to schedule an audit inspection to our home, and it wasnt until we called and inquired about the ***** ****s that we were expecting to receive in January that they again admitted that someone forgot to schedule the audit and an audit was scheduled for December. This whole process has delayed us in receiving this ***** **** which has now been pushed back to May. Now to the panels, What Orbit says were producing is not what ******** says were producing. The Auditor even stated that our bill should not have been so high and that something is either wrong with the panels or the meter. Nothing has changed since we went solar regarding household usage and yet our bill has had no effect. Our sales rep has also mislead us by withholding information regarding the tax credit ****s we would receive. She failed to mention about a credit forward process that applies to the tax credit. She initially said that we would receive about $10,000 and would be able to either put it back into the panels or utilize it for the home (it would be our choice). She said that we would receive it this tax season. However, the credit is based off of how much taxes I owe. So if I owe $3000 in taxes thats how much Im going to receive and the rest will be credited forward to the following. Having that information regarding the credit forward would have been useful, but it looks better to say we would receive $10,000 for going solar than it depends on how much taxes I owe and thats how much Ill get back.
