1 starWe got our solar panels installed in June 2022. They have drugged their feet giving us the $3,888.00 grant ***** we were offered plus a $1,000.00 bonus we were offered. We were first told it would take 3 to 4 months for the direct deposit. Then, every month after that was "we are working on it". Now today we find out they filed for bankruptcy! This company was horrible to work with as soon as we signed the loan contract. Time to get a lawyer.Review fromMichelle S

1 starHorrible company have been trying to get a hold of someone for awhile cant even leave a message. Company filed for bankruptcy two days before our system was installed. Now nobody will answer our calls and our system is not working properly guess its time to get a lawyer. Run from this company.Review fromTiffany T

1 starI am writing this review to protoct other consumers from going through what we've been through with this company and process. our company. Our salesman came out to our home and promised a great experience with a professional company. We started the process in June 2022 and did not have solar until February 13, 2023. While the bicycle is a few months out of warranty. Our salesman disappeared the day after we executed the loan documents and locked into the project. The only reason I was successful with a response from upper management was to search LinkedIn for someone with the ability to assist us as we were desperately seeking help. I reached out via LinkedIn to ******************************* who was able to assist us but is now no longer with Orbit. The list of problems is too long to post here. This company should not be in business and allowed to do what they've done to our family. It should be illegal and if we had the financial means we would pursue to legal action to bring attention to what we experienced. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. This has been the worst experience. I had solar panels installed in September 2022 and as of February 6, 2023, I still don’t have solar energy. I’ve had two failed inspections and I’m still waiting on a third inspection. I’m so disappointed.Orbit Energy & Power LLC

Mistake in solars installation and promise to payback ** for that mistake but the sales person left the organization and now we are stuck with the solar which is installed in the wrong side of the house roof.Customer support has no solution over the call and never come back for the request we raise. Every time we call and explain same information and continue waiting for the solution. ****** learned, keep all the communication with sales person over the email not on phone calls or test messages. Only email is the proof of all the promises they make otherwise they will switch from their words if theyre no written proofs .Orbit Energy & Power LLC

Often times people will manipulate situations and use our lack of familiarity on a certain subject against us, it sounds like that is what happened. Unfortunately the only thing we have to do is go by is the contract you signed, being as though we were not present. The sales rep that sold you your system is longer with the company. Where to start! Our install was unique due to having two separate billable, electric meters on our home. We told the salesman we only wanted 1 meter on our home, we told the installers, and when it was all done, we still have 2 meters. One thats solar and the original second, so they did a virtual read application with the electric company. Not terrible but I still have to pay a $30 connection fee to have a 2nd meter. Our is*** was shortly after the solar meter was installed orbit swapped the power lines for the solar between those 2 meters causing all of our solar to not go to the electric company. When I called questioning, I got terrible customer service, I was told checks were going to be mailed per the contract since I was not generating what they guaranteed. After months of complaining, about not getting solar generation, and hearing. You must be using it all when I have lived at this house for 15 years, and *** never used megawatts of electricity each month, I still was not receiving a check that was to be mailed several times over, I threaten to *** and magically someone comes out. Corrects the problem, provides the check, but we lost out on all the solar generation, because they never offered us consumption meters to prove we didnt use it. I tried to get them to make it right and they refused, I filed in small claims court just to get a bankruptcy notice. We are furious as to how this all went down. I have tried for the past 2 days at various times. The customer care team does not pick up and the voice box is no longer accepting voicemail. I tried hitting zero instead and the call software just keeps asking for number options. I go through make an appointment and it just rings; I hung up after 3 minutes of it ringing. We had panels installed in the spring. Took some time butwere patient. Neighbor followed a few weeks later. We have yet to see our refund check which was to be applied for by Orbit. When the panels were inspected the installer walked over the roof between panels cracking the seal on a vent flashing causing a roof leak. Discovered the leak, asked for repair (the salesperson was very clear that they did roofing and HVAC as part of the business) today after weeks of runaround my husband was informed that they not only would not repair the roof (I was willing to pay the 800 for a local roofer) but they would charge three thousand dollars to move the three panels impeding this repair. I thought long and hard and read so many pages of fine print before making the decision to go solar. Unfortunately I am falling victim to the same problem as everyone else. My sales rep told me that Orbit will make my loan payments in the unlikely chance that my panels aren't functioning before my loan becomes due. I signed in July, install was in September. As the delays and months kept adding up and I inquired, I was informed that they reimburse, not pay. Ok, fine, I get that. Fast forward to December, my payment is due. I called Orbit to inform them that I was owed a reimbursement check, even though they are well aware that I don't have functioning solar, and am told I'd be added to the list. I asked how long I should expand she informed me that they only cut reimbursement checks EVERY OTHER MONTH. So now, I am a single mom, the month of Christmas and am having to pay a full electric bill plus my solar loan and am being told it could be months before I see the money I'm owed. Then, if they aren't up by January I will have to wait 2 more months minimum for that check. I went from being so excited about my decision to now being super nervous that I have made the wrong decision. I just wish that they were honest with me from the beginning. The sales **** **** even talked about how Orbit wouldn't want their customers to be paying for something they can't use.... And here I am, paying for solar panels that I can't use. I've reached out several times. I was told a check was cut and being sent out that day. 2 weeks late I followed up because I had not received it and was told you filed for bankruptcy so I won't be getting a check any time soon. Nobody even had the decency to reach out and tell me. I'm assuming I'll never see it. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Takes forever...months to get approved and installed. Then once installed.. months to get it approved and for service to be put online... MEANWHILE you pay your loan payments for something you are not getting any benefit from... company says they will reimburse you your monthly payments...STILL WAITING for reimbursement and to have system put online ...System installed beginning of September...already about to start beginning of December.
