I thought it was a scam but I called in with my approval code and received the gift card and I signed up for identity theft protection. If I went by these reviews I might not have called.

We received a postcard in the mail promising $250 in reward dollars that can be spent at recognizable brands like ******, *********, ****** and more. After a quick Google search, we found many others who were on the receiving end of this scam. DO NOT CALL THEM!

?? This company (Privacy Patrol) scams it certainly came down to this, want credit card number saying charging you ******************************* really & after advertising & mailing to my address a card that you get $250.00 in reward dollars free, BIG RED FLAGS on this. Beware your going to be sorry, beware they will rip you as I called three times to speak with a manager & that didn't make the person's answering phone happy. Matter of fact the voice of a supposedly agent was the same voice of a person claiming to be manager they said were transferring me too. Everyone watch out, seriously. Agents won't give their name when you ask & anyway it would probably not be their real name I bet. Number on card mailed to home # *** 5103 & complaint department number given out over phone from them # ********. Agree with post from lady Mynida W that wrote people need to get real jobs & stop scamming people out of banking information to steal. Going forward to report law & other legal avenues. In my family is US ********, Police Officer, Homeland Security Agent, Private Investigator so will be contacting them for sure. And to you folks involved in this scam will be praying for you to find yourself. And my neighbors there are 3 law enforcement & will be checking with them. You folks working at to stealing from others & may GOD forgive you. If you happen call them record it. Now to start making comments all over to hopefully warn others beware of these type things. Hopefully they get caught & legal judge to hand down their upcomings. And folks keep posting as you never know when all is being watched to apprend them, seen it done ??. My thoughts on this whole thing is to help others ?? not be scammed. ****************** listed with company name, just write a check, they are not checked out if legit. ******* D you probably work for them it seems, they are not what you say, you didn't mention paying 99 cents which doesn't make it free, you stated signed up free.

This company is fraudulent. I received a card in the mail saying I had an unclaimed gift of $250. I called and asked how they received my name he told me I was randomly picked by my zip code. He then proceeded to say that I could spend my $250 numerous ways and said my gift would be put in the mail. Then said all I had to do was pay .99 for shipping and would I want to pay by debit, credit or checking. I asked him how do I know you are a legitimate. He then tells me what other customers have done. I told him that is not telling me the legitimacy of the company and asked what the name of the company was. He said I need to tell you we are a third party company and I would need to talk to Privacy Control. I asked if I could call back. He then transfers the call to a line that asked if I wanted ******** then the call dropped. People need to get real jobs and STOP trying to scam people out of their banking information so they can steal.

Privacy Patrol sent me a postcard that I won $250.00 dollars in rewards to all these different stores in the form of a voucher, but wanted me to pay .99 cents for shipping and handling. I asked where do I redeem the voucher. He named off a few stores. I said just take the.99 cents from the $250.00 voucher and send me $249.01, he said hold on and then a recording came over the phone for a different voucher in the amount of $100.00 for the price of $1.50 shipping and handling.i hung up after that. That sounds like a scam to get that debit/ credit card info to me.

I was told all I had to do is pay .99 for mail and I would get $250.00 card to use at ******** Amazon, Target, etc After reading these reviews I called to cancel it. I was told to call Privacy Patrol, which I did. I was told that I had to have an account number to cancel it, so I guess I get signed up automatically and they take the money out of my bank account. This is WRONG!!! No company should be able to take money out of your account without your permission!
