  I have copied and pasted someone else's complaint as this is Exactly what happened to me. I even asked the girl on the phone(hispanic accent) if there was Anything I had to pay and she said NO. She couldn't even find my Claim#-I should have stopped there This is fraudulent. They told me I received a $250 rewards card and what they ask is there' s a 99 cent shipping fee and would I like to cover it. I told the person NOPE! Anytime I have to cover something this isn't legit. Then she hung the phone up.They ought to be ashamed of themselves!Just Aweful!! FRAUD ALL THE WAY

  Privacy Patrol provides world class identity theft protection service for any age. I see a lot of comments here negative but there is nothing fraud about this company. If you read their postcard says it is a promotional advertisement that allows the customers to sign up for free without risk in a 30-day trial and if you agree to sign up, you get the $250 as a benefit, all's it is a perk for trying their service. People get greedy and just want money but do not want to try local businesses who are actually provide world class protection services. Just like any old service who provides protection the only difference is privacy patrol seems to have less traditional to methods in terms of advertising and so people see whatever they like. Not all companies are accredited as well this does not make them not legit. After taking business as a major career I now understand the scrutiny legit business owners get just because they do not invest in fees to "show off" that they are legit. I love Privacy Patrol, they literally gave my Dad peace of mind as someone tried to steal his title and deed of his home right out from underneath him. Also, I pay like 13 bucks a month and have full ID protection monitoring, and recovery from them.

  After reading all the remarks below I think that I better get ahold of this company and see just what is going on before I commit any more of my time. By the way, it says that the Privacy Patrol LLC isn't accredited by the BBB, this should tell it all right there.

  I just reviewed some of the reviews about this company and I now understand why I need to add my complaint. This company is a complete fraud. Their attitude towards customer is aggressive and rude. They dont answer their phones and when they do they are nasty towards customers. Discover customer service representative who was on the phone with me when I made the call was shock at their attitude and was apologizing to me. Im not quite sure how long they have been in business but thats not how you treat customers you want to be in business with. BBB, with this many complaints you need to investigate their business.

  What a SCAM NO STARS DO NOt Do this Look up the ************ Card in the mail No return address I called some lady at home My CREDIT CARD #No Way They already interfered In my privacy Nothing Private anymore TRUE Also read the complaints Do not give ur Credit Card Not BBB approved Post Card in the mail Not enough information No return from this They are hiding..   They are a scam. I know I got on their mailing list through a shady link because I gave a fake name on a website to attempt to track a lost phone (that was also a scam, it didn't actually track the phone and just got me signed up for all these BS scams) and the same fake name now appeared on a postcard claiming I have a $250 reward if I call their number. It's pretty poorly done since it says to see the website but has no website info listed on the card. The only thing identifying them is it says in small print sponsored by Privacy Patrol.Any business that resorts to this kind of scam/spam is not trustworthy even if their actual identity theft protection services are real, although I doubt they are at all.
