I made an appointment at Mlyfe on May 23 at 1 PM that day we talked about my car receiving a remote start which was supposed to be done originally that day for $499 when I got there it ended up being $799 and they told me they could not do it that day they told me they had to order the system and I had to pay right there and then so I ended up selling them $470 and financing $380 thesystem was supposed to come in within a couple days they never called me I would constantly call them asking when it would come in they kept different excusesof why the system wasn’t coming in then on June 14 I was supposed to come in to finally get it done I had an appointment in the morning at 10 AM then the manager Sean calls me and tells me to come in around two or three I asked if I can comein earlier he said he would get back to me and never got back to me so I ended up going to the shop myself to out what’s going on because it was almost a month nowin my remote start still wasn’t installed then they handed me a paper saying if it wasn’t done on June 21 they would issue me a refund and made an appointment for June 21 then June 21 comes I have an appointment at 12am I arrive and end up waiting there for around six hours then they tell me my remote start is finished but I need to drive thecar 15-20 miles for it to work I had them print out a paper stating that if the remote start didn’t work they would issue mea refund and I had the manager sign it I drove 30 miles home and the remote start never worked I contacted the manager sent him videos telling him it’s not working asking for my refund and he isn’t respondingI’ve tried calling him no response. I have all the receipts and paperwork they gave me stating my refund will be returned if it didn’t work I also have the receipt receipts for the transactions.Initial Complaint

On Monday June 23rd 2025 at approximately 11am My car was brought into MLYFE auto shop after consulting previously the prior week with a set appointment for "ceramic window tint" job. Once the call was evaluated and then we agreed on also tinting the windshield for the first time I was quoted $650 over the phone then the price changed to 800 because of the windshield. I decided to leave my car because I was told that the job would take about 2 hours 3 hours tops. I ended up coming to pick up the car at 5:00 p.m. once at the counter prepared to pay for the tint job the other representative/ supervisor or manager named Sean, begin to engage in offering additional services in a very persuasive aggressive and forceful way I initially declined and said I'm only interested in the tint job he went on to say how great they do with their technology services and packages and how he would be happy to add additional services like Apple carplay Android carplay and or any other options regarding Bluetooth wireless entry features and so forth. I agree and then the bill went from $800 to over 1600 and I left and decided to take a break and return via Uber. Perhaps 2 hours later I got a call the job was not complete and then I was told that I needed to be charged more for the tint job because of the representative he's choosing to use the job said it was hard to remove the tint. That turned me off because that was already considered and the initial estimated quote now it is increasing which definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. I was then told oh I cannot show you the apple carplay or the Bluetooth connection features and the additional technology package you paid for because you have to drive the car fast for 10 to 20 miles and then it will engage by simply pressing the menu button. I was lied to it was never installed and it does not work on the car whatsoever. I was taking advantage of, Lied to and charged an additional $800, I did not get the services promise or rendered.Initial Complaint

On May 23, 2025, I paid $1,386.13 to MLYFE in South Hackensack, NJ for two services on my 2025 Kia Telluride: interior LED lighting ($800) and a $500 vinyl wrap. The LED was completed, but the wrap was not. I returned as requested, but they said again they had no time. I decided not to proceed with the wrap and asked for a refund, but they refused. No work was performed and no materials were used. I was never told the payment would be non-refundable, and I signed no agreement. I respectfully request a refund of $500.Initial Complaint

I visited Mlyfe on 2/11/25 with the intention of getting work done on my vehicle. I gave a deposit, which the front desk stated was declined. After discussing with family members, the representative John that I was working with: we informed him that we would not proceed and that my deposit would be voided. The business accepted the money against my volition and I returned to the business the following day stating that it was a mistake and to please return money. The following week, a police officer escorted us to the premises and they falsely claimed that an oral agreement was made. I am demanding a return of my deposit.Initial Complaint

On November 13, 2024, I contacted Mlyfe via Instagram to apply Paint Protection Film (PPF) to my vehicle. They assured me same-day service upon drop-off. On November 23, I visited their location, provided upfront payment, and authorized the work. A manager named Sean later informed me that my car wouldn’t be ready that day but promised completion within a few days and offered to cover my cab fare. After several days, I noticed through my Tesla’s camera that my car remained unmoved. On November 26, Sean cited holiday delays and guaranteed completion by the next evening, promising a full refund if unmet, I have this recorded. By November 28, with no progress, Sean requested another chance, suggesting a new appointment on December 6. On December 5, I attempted to confirm via text but received no response. Given their failure to perform any work despite multiple assurances, I decided to cease business with them. Additionally, the credit card authorization form they provided contains a signature that isn’t mine and lists an outdated address. This is my first time disputing a charge, and I believe I should not be billed for services that were never rendered.Initial Complaint

I purchased a service for my car that cost a total of $900 reupholster my headliner.
I was aggressively talked into using cash as my form of payment!
So aggressive they didn’t let me take my own car to drive to the atm to get cash. They insisted that they take my car keys and start the service, and they’ll have someone drive me to the atm. And the service would be completed the same day!
After 7 hours of waiting they told me that my car would not be completed today that I’d have to come back tomorrow!
The owner Dimitri reached out and assured me that my car would be completed the following morning and that he’ll be in the office to provide me with a $250 refund as well.
The following morning came and I was told my car would be completed that day and that I should arrive at 6pm for pick up.
When I arrived at 6pm my car was not ready! After driving 1 hour to pick it up.
And then I was instructed to come back the next day.
At this point I don’t trust what’s going on. There’s not integrity in that business they possibly could be stealing parts of my car!
There are 100s of similar complaints! They need to be investigated and shut down!Initial Complaint

In the beginning of October I brought my car to get apply car play installed. However it seems like Apple car play was never installed because it was never demonstrated to me working. I called multiple times always being told they will explain to me how to work it (because there was a technique to work it) a month later I get a call and their technique doesnt work so I brought my car back once again to the shop to get fixed and was told it will work now and got sent away. Still there is no proof or functionality that displays Apple car play. They took my money and did not install what was promised. My car was a 2019 GLC 350e I spoke with managers **** and ******* and still never got what was promised .Initial Complaint

Had an appt, Tuesday sat there for 7 hrs and nothing got done, then ***** the manager promised hes going to get the work done right the next day the truck sat there for 9 days and everything we agreed on getting done didnt get done.. when I finally picked up the truck I was there for 45 min 4 customers walked in complaining about the same problem they are having with ***** and the business playing games getting people for there money.Initial Complaint
