I bought/used their Oxi Clean Foamtastic Tile Cleaner. The horrendous smell caused vomiting and made me sick for several days after as the smell lingered on the walls in the bathroom, bedroom and hall, even though I had turned multiple high velocity fans on and opened all windows.
I mailed a letter and store receipt on March 11 asking for a refund and compensation for making me so terribly sick for several days after
The compensation I want is $1000.00 which would cover the purchase price as wellInitial Complaint

To Whom It May Concern,
I am filing this complaint against Church & Dwight Co., Inc., the manufacturer of Arm & Hammer deodorant, due to the severe harm caused to my daughter as a direct result of using their product. Despite my repeated attempts to contact the company for a resolution, they have ignored my concerns, mishandled my case, and failed to take accountability.
I immediately contacted the company to report the incident, expecting an investigation and resolution.
Instead of offering assistance, they requested the product back but provided no meaningful support, refund, or apology.
I followed up multiple times, but my calls and inquiries were ignored or dismissed.
To date, they have failed to take responsibility or acknowledge the harm caused by their product.
I am seeking immediate intervention to ensure that Church & Dwight is held accountable and that other consumers are protected from similar harm. Specifically, I request:
A full investigation into the safety of this product and any related consumer complaints.
A formal response from Church & Dwight, addressing their lack of action and failure to assist a harmed consumer.
Legal and financial assistance in seeking damages for medical costs, pain and suffering, and emotional distress.
Public disclosure and warnings regarding potential risks associated with this deodorant.Initial Complaint

I purchased a product of this company's (Nair Body Cream/Hair Remover) on 11/25/2024 and used the product 11/29/2024. The use of the product resulted in me being admitted in the hospital for 2 days with a second degree nearly third degree chemical burn to my lower abdomen/pelvic area. This situation ruined/interfered a planned cruise weekend getaway. I had to see a cruise ship doctor for medical attention and encountered a large un-necessary medical bill from the cruise line. I am currently also seeing a wound doctor and having to miss time from work as a result of using this product. I am also making this complaint to warn others of this matter in hopes that no one else (male or female) ever experiences this.Initial Complaint

On June 20th I purchased Oxiclean from ****** and it was delivered June 27th. On June 30th, I soaked my clothes as per the instructions provided by OxiClean to try and remove some stains.
I immediately washed the clothes while they were still wet from the OxiClean soaking. After the wash, my clothes were mostly ruined. My whites were stained dark colors. My graphic tees had the graphics heavily corroded, or in 1 case completely removed. And to top it off, the stains were barely faded.
I contacted OxiClean immediately after via Facebook. They asked me to call in and gave me a case number. I did so the next day. OxiClean asked me to take photos of all my clothes which I did and sent them to OxiClean. I asked for $20 per garment completely ruined (11 total) and OxiClean said a specialist would look and make that determination. I was told to expect a call in a couple days.
A few weeks later I did not receive a response and called them back. They said it was rejected because I didn't follow the instructions, which is patently false. These clothes have survived dozens (hundreds in some cases) of washes with no damage. But 1 soak with OxiClean and they were destroyed.
The agent said there was nothing that could be done so I am escalating in all avenues I can.Initial Complaint

Better Business bureau. I want contact from church and Dwight. We purchased two bottles arm and Hammer laundry detergent 2397 each. Watered. Watered down. Defective. Discovered this trying to do laundry. Bought for years never had issue. Phone number on jug. Person named Diego answered heavy Mexican accent. Man named Diego called me stupid. Said exactly quote, if you're going to be stupid about how you do laundry sir I can't help you. Diego spoke to me like I was a child. Made me repeat myself three times maybe more. I knew something was wrong so I started recording the call. I have 8 minutes of being put down, told I was stupid and ignorant. Diego said sometimes people are ignorant " and don't know how to do laundry like you sir perhaps you don't know what you're doing. I had this call on speaker and I was recording and my employee was listening and could not believe his ears. Person by the name of Diego enjoyed putting me down in some kind of sick way. He made me say my name four times and he said that I was mispronouncing my name and made me say it again five times. I'm wondering if this person is legal in this country or maybe a Biden allowance because nobody ever in the United States who belongs in the United States would treat another person like this? This person Diego enjoyed hurting me enjoyed telling me how stupid I was. He seemed to enjoy his power laughing and chuckling and he was misquoting me several times and then laughing and saying well that's what I got from your conversation sir you. He asked me why I use the second bottle when the first was no good why would I open up the second? I informed him it was 10:00 at night I needed to do my laundry I work hard at my job. He said I was stupid to open up the second bottle. At this point I detected this was some kind of sick game and that he was doing putting down an American. I want immediate contact from church and Dwight Ewing New Jersey before I drive up there myself and have a in person conversation secondly I would like my $50 return to me in the form of laundry detergent or a refund! I have the recordings that I will play for corporate they are too long to attachBusiness Response

Church and Dwight claims to be environmentally responsible, but this does not carry through to their Waterpik products which contain rechargeable batteries. The batteries are inaccessible, yet the company does not provide easy-to-find guidance on its website that the Waterpik ought not go into household garbage that goes to the landfill, It takes a special, custom-crafred search in the *** section of the Waterpik website to find an answer on how to safely dispose of the product. That answer is very weak. It says to contact your local small appliance recycler. It also provides a customer service number. The customer service agent was very nice, but the best she could do was to tell me to check the call2recycle,org website to find a local recycler. I'd already done that. She explained that there is no company-sponsored take back or recycling program for Waterpiks. There is no viable small appliance recycling solution local to me. I live in the suburbs of **************, so I'm not the only person with this problem. Staples and Best Buy do not accept water flossers nor do the independent ********* in my area. My local government does not provide on-going recycling for small appliances.I finally threw up my hands and disassembled the entire water flosser in order to remove the batteries so I could safely throw the rest of the product into the garbage. This is an unacceptably time consuming solution that most people will not go to the trouble to pursue. I had to find a ******* video that explained how to disassemble the outer housing. Then, I was on my own to figure out how to get to and remove the batteries. Likely, not something Waterpik wants its customers to do on a routine basis.Since most people will just pitch end-of-life water flossers into their garbage, which ends up in the landfill, Church and Dwight is contributing to pollution and fire risk when the batteries eventually leak in the landfill.Business Response

Complaint: 21465548I very much appreciate Waterpik's two attempts to reach me. Since the company's attempts, *******************************, ******** Service Supervisor and I exchanged emails. We are planning to speak on Thursday when she is back in the office.
I also appreciate that Waterpik updated the online instructions for its Water Flosser Model WP-440 and for more current models to provide battery removal instructions. The instruction manual that came with the Water Flosser for which I needed to remove the batteries says it is for Water Flosser Model WP-440/450/455/460/462/464. That instruction manual does not contain the instructions for battery removal. How is a customer like me supposed to know there is an updated instruction manual that contains the information? In addition, it was difficult to identify the model of Water Flosser without the instruction manual,

Company is not providing any clarification - and sending out notices that direct me to contact them for information. I email as instructed, and am send vague emails that state they have the power to make decisions final? They are stating that they are the administrator, yet acting as they are the parties involved in the actual case.Business Response
