Do not shop with them through online ordering for shipping. They will s**** you over for cancelled items. I have called twice to get my situation rectified and both times they act as if they do not fully understand what I am saying and try talking over me to explain, instead of listening. I was initially charged for the shipped and picked up items. I then had a few items I was waiting for between 2 orders. About 2 weeks later those items were cancelled one by one. I then noticed I was charged an additional 2 times on my credit card. Those 2 charges totaled the items that were cancelled in my orders. When speaking to them, they tried to tell me I was charged for the items I received and not for the cancelled items. You can add up the items in my orders and figure it out really quick and simply. They then even told me I was charged $5.99 for shipping, when I had free shipping! Their customer service is the worst and they do not have an email, only chat and phone. The chat you will never get anyone with the wait times. I am beyond disgusted and will take my business elsewhere. That is fraudulent to charge for items customers do not receive. When an order is placed, the customer may see a temporary authorization on their payment account. The charge is not finalized until the item is shipped, and in the event that an item is canceled, any pending hold on the account will be released automatically by the payment systems. Placed an online order in early July. Was charged for the order. Received a tracking number but the order never left the warehouse. Reached out to customer service two weeks after it shipped and they said their was an issue with the order and they replaced the order. That order never came either. Reached out again and was told I was never charged for either order even though money was taken from my account. I sent them a screenshot of the charge and then they said they would refund me and the refund would take 1-5 business days. Never received the refund. Reached out again after that time frame and they told me it would take another 1-5 business days. Never received the refund again. It has now been two months since I placed my order, I do not have my item and 700$ was taken from my account. I have reached out to their customer service once a week for the past two months and each time I am told rest assured this will be resolved and it never is. This company is a scam, do NOT place an order from their website. I have never had such an absolutely horrible online shopping experience.Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (Bankrupt)

I ordered a blender late on August 5. August 6 at approximately I hadn't received my email that I could pick up my blender. I chatted with a rep and was told they were waiting for authorization from my bank. I explained that I used welcome pay and the charge is already pending on my acct. Rep told me she would somebody from finance call me. I have yet to receive that call. Monday I check my bank account and the charge has processed. I chat with several reps at Bed Bath & Beyond and call the store. I speak with *****, who's more interested in talking to a Co-worker than helping me. In speaking with her she tells me my blender is sitting right there. I check the order status again and its been cancelled. She has no idea why. I explained to her that welcome pay has been paid, the charge has processed. She tells me I would need to show her proof. I'm not showing my banking to anybody and she was out of line for even stating that. I chatted with other reps and get excuse after excuse, finally a rep sees the payment and asks for me to give them 2-3 business days to refund my money. I give them 5 days, still no refund. On August 20, I call Welcome pay, they took a second payment out. Bed Bath and Beyond never notified them till August 14, that that order was cancelled. I won't be receiving my refunds till August 27. Oh and I placed the order for the blender thru Afterpay and with in 5 minutes my order was ready for pick up. I reached out to the company after not receiving part of my order due to someone in my building signing for it and not being brought to my apartment and then having Fed Ex saying that my building was closed and I was not available for delivery for the rest of my order but they never even left their Fed Ex facility. I went to chat at around 10pm Ct and was told 40 minute wait that then turned into another 50 minute wait that then turned into a 4 hour wait time. By then it was midnight and I still had to wait 4 hours. Needless to say I tried again the next day and am still waiting the 20 minutes that has turned into ************************************************************** business and I wonder how long I have to fight to get my money returned for things I never received. Had a question about a recent order with Bed Bath and Beyond. Tried to contact customer service via their chat system through their website. I have my chat transcript logged and there were time stamps. Chat window started at 7:21 pm. Asked for a real person customer representative and was told to keep the chat window open, that my wait is expected to be 50 min. At 8:22pm the bot announced that my wait was now expected to be 20 minutes. At 9:22pm the bot said the wait was 5 minutes. Until past 10 pm a customer representative finally answered my question. I purchased a make up vanity from bed bath and beyond. Fed ex delivered it and the box was damaged, and of course so was the vanity. I contacted BB&B to return and purchased the vanity again. The box was fine this time but when I took out the stool it had dark fingerprints on it the next piece was the door and both hinges were broken. So it seems that Bed Bath & Beyond has been sending me someone else's damaged returns. I spoke to ***** at customer service but he has no answers for me. If I purchase it for full price will i still get damaged goods delivered to me? You can't speak to a supervisor because when you do ***** puts you on hold for 75 minutes then hangs up on you. Forced to rate 1 star, would give negative stars if possible. Horrible experience as a first-time online customer. Received a gift card as a wedding gift and ordered a throw blanket and **************** candle. Two days after ordering received an email that the candle was cancelled and $0.65 was credited to my account not the credit card that was used for the $0.65. The candle price of $7.19 has not been placed back on my gift card, account or credit card. Tried to call customer service numerous times to no success with their automated system that could not process my complaint and continued to hang up on me. Tried the online chat service two nights in a row and was unable to actually speak to someone. Was prompted numerous times with time estimates of wait times at 50 minutes, 30 minutes, 25 minutes and 15 minutes intervals. This was an extreme joke as I am still waiting in the chat and it has been well over 4 hours. As a newlywed couple, we will never shop in-person or online at this company ever again and will strongly advise our friends and family to take their business elsewhere. I made an order on August 7, my items were supposedly shipped the next business days. While I received the majority of my items, a few things stated they were waiting for pickup. So on the 13th I called to express my concerns about my items "waiting for carrier pickup" after 30 minutes of sitting on the phone my concerns were practically ignored and the so-called agent claimed that the items would be there on the 16th guaranteed. Also, that she would contact the warehouse to ensure its delivery. The 16th came, and I called again the woman had the nerve to lie to me and claim it was already with ***** and that they did a TRACE shipment and it would be delivered to my house today on the guaranteed. I called ***** and they informed me that nobody even did a TRACE on the package and that I could call BBB and they would inform them that they have not received the package. I told them I would wait until tomorrow since the representative LIED and stated it would be delivered today. I would also like to mention, that I requested to speak to a supervisor or manager which never happened. Nor did I get the return phone call or the email that she claimed that I would receive. I also forgot to mention she refused to give me the ***** tracking number to confirm that the package would be at my house. Ironically, after my phone call, the items were FINALLY picked up and I should receive my order on Friday. So pretty much BBB has the worse CUSTOMER SERVICE I have experienced. Their staff will lie just to get you off the phone and their wait times to talk to somebody is 30 minutes plus. They are very bad providing Tracking Numbers to your orders of shipment. Most stores I purchase things online I'll get a tracking number within the next 24 hours after my Order Confirmation email. I'm now on my 5th day with no tracking number. Their ***** is bad to contact to talk to a representative waits are usually 18 to 28 minutes.
