Simply put they will cover nothing or damn close. The little they will cover they told my mechanic to use parts from a junkyard. Stay far from this bogus joke of a company. *My mechanic could not even get anyone on the phone. It took him forever to get someone on the phone.

Purchased a used vehicle with a service contract from First Automotive, the cost of the service contract was $2,900 and is listed as the elite coverage. The transmission had issues and needed a rebuild, we took it to a credited shop and it took over a week to get First Automotive to approve the work and when they did they would not pay out the total of the invoice, the contract states that we have a $100 deductable, however we had to come out of pocket almost $400 dollars. Through this experience we also found out that we only recieved 1 page of a 12 page contract from the dealership. The transmission shop was really helpful and communicated with us during the process but have already said they will never deal with this company again. This was the first time using the service contract so we are now $3300 out of pocket for a $4300 dollar transmission rebuild. I would never do business with them again.

I purchased my vehicle and the First Automotive service contract in early 2022. I've had several repairs since purchasing. First Automotive has always been quick to respond to the dealership service staff and has approved all of the repairs.I'm very happy with the level of service and the cost of the contract!

First automotive is a nightmare to work with. You call their customer ********************** claim department and they just put you on hold with no real answers for the inspection that is currently under review. You are not allowed to speak to the manager who is reviewing the claim because in the morning he has not had enough time to review and in the afternoon he has gone home for the day leaving you with no answer or timeline for a response. The supervisor I do get to speak to has no urgency or willingness to help just ridiculous answers like there is nothing I can do or we will get to it when we get to it. $5000 for an elite coverage extended service contract that they do everything in there power to delay or cut corners for cost. Do not waste your time or money with this company.

Not happy so far. I bought the Tire and Wheel protection and today I got a nail in my tire. Should be easy, right? WRONG. I called their Customer ********************** to find out how to use this ... which ... I mean she couldn't care less about anything I was saying, really bad attitude, no customer ********************** skills AT ALL. According to this contract, I can't have anyone unauthorized work on the tire. I get that. I called the dealership, and they can't get me in for over a week. Apparently, I have to be +50 miles away to be able to take it to a tire place, which is insane. So now I'm supposed to drive on this tire for a whole week. Probably so they can say it's damaged due to negligence and refuse coverage. What a rip-off.

I bought the Elite Plan for my ***************** and a year later, in 2023, the common problem of leaking radiator showed up. My dealer knew the company, got the pre-authorization and except for the deductible, they paid for the repair and helped to pay for the rental car.It was an easy experience and Im glad to get the newly engineered part that fixed the issue. I was hesitant about buying a third party warranty over the factory one, but so far, this one worked well. I suspect that if a dealer sells a high volume of warranties they may want to keep them happy.

I can't even give First Automotive 1 star, because they are a total ripoff!!! I bought my dream car 2 years ago and bought an extended warranty through First Automotive. I paid over 2 thousand dollars for it. What I thought was piece of mind wound up being a TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!!! Something in the engine failed which caused the headgasget to blow and it caused the engine to warp. I had to get a new engine which cost over 12 thousand dollars. The mechanic tore the engine apart so the adjuster could see exactly what happened. After fighting back and forth for almost 3 weeks First Automotive said that I let the car run hot, WHICH NEVER HAPPENED!!!!! The only way I knew something was wrong was the engine light came on and I took it to the mechanic right away. First Automotive was back tracking trying to get out of paying anything but my mechanic would not give up fighting for me because he knew that something failed in the engine. After fighting for almost 3 weeks First Automotive agreed to only pay around $3300. These after market warranties are a TOTAL RIPOFF!!! With First Automotive at the Top of the list of a major waste of money!!!!

I would give them zero stars if I could. We had a $2200 balance owed on our car loan after it was deemed totaled and insurance paid the bank an amount that resulted in that balance. First Automotive GAP claimed that we were "over financed" by $3300 which left us with a benefit of -$1100. Um, we paid for this *** insurance for two years! The customer service was horrible with no follow through, stalling the claim, asking for things that we literally didn't have because we bought a used car. This company should not be rated high enough for a BBB good standing, ever. I don't know if I can file a suit against them for their "bait-and-switch" scheme but I'm going to look into it.
