1 starThis company does not try to work with the renter. NEVER RENT FROM THEM! I rented a car on 5/30/25 and drove it for a total of 9 miles and while at a red light, my family and I were crashed into by a drunk driver. Police, EMTs, Firemen, and the tow company that local Metro Las Vegas PD use all showed up on scene. I notified the company of the accident and was threatened that if I did not return their vehicle, at my own cost, to their rental lot (where I had picked up the car), I would have to pay to get the car out and towed there. The tow guy said he could not take the car back to them since it's against his company's policy, as all cars get taken to a tow yard and each car rental company is responsible for picking up their own vehicle. I complied and paid to have it dropped off, went inside the portable to fill out the accident/incident report. Easirent wanted to know my own insurance claim number and to get a copy of the police report I was given. It was a nightmare. Finally we leave their office and I ask the branch manager (woman) about my deposit and car rental amount. She confirmed that it would take 7-10 business days to receive them back on form of payment. 6-7 weeks later, nothing. Their claims department has no info on incident, their corporate office calls roll over to their customer service staff (calling center) and they are nice by sending many requests on my behalf to "follow up and expedite my claim" but they end up only suggesting I reach out to the local branch (who don't answer their phone line ever). This company is horrible. Never again will I rent from them. They owe me $$.Review fromTirumala Gopi Krishna s

1 starI recently dealt with Easirent after being hit with a “smoking charge” I didn’t deserve. Over the course of a week, I contacted them dozens of times—each time they picked up and immediately hung up. Eventually, one representative asked me to call after 6:30 PM EST; when I did, I was told to call back in the morning. They were extremely rude. A manager finally answered and abruptly hung up, stating she was busy. They never resolved my issue.
Problems encountered
Bogus “smoking” fees: Despite no smoking in the car, they refused to provide evidence—others have reported similar cases where car rental agencies charge for subjective smoke odors without proof
No one picks up—or hangs up immediately: Your experience echoes many reports of Easirent phone lines disconnecting or being ignored .
Rude, unprofessional staff: Your manager hanging up aligns with multiple customer complaints about discourteous and dismissive agents .
No accountability or escalation path: Even after a week+ of trying, there was no meaningful escalation or manager review, despite Easirent’s own FAQ promising a 14-business-day response window .
Wider customer complaints
Many have complained about suspicious damage and cleaning fees, weak customer service, and bait-and-switch practices:
“They corner the customer … no escape”
Hidden fees, unpleasant vehicle conditions, long disconnecting call waits, deposits not refunded

1 starI don’t know where they get customer skills training from!! I was the first in line and the last to leave.. Sharon was not satisfied with my insurance card so she proceeded to tell me to call the insurance company because they get customer’s come into there establishment all the time stating they have insurance and don’t. That’s when I was racial profile and I emailed the company with a complaint and that went NO where also I found a bottle of piss under the passenger seat .I’ve been back home for 2 weeks now and I haven’t heard or read 1 word from this company yet but I bet they’re going to respond to this review.. Why y’all going to respond to this review because it’s easier to deal with then standing up for your BRAND!! I would not recommend this rental company to any human being..
Very up happy customer,

1 starEasirent is a criminal outfit. The counter people may be rude and unbearably slow, but it's deliberate; they want you to be frustrated and impatient to get on the road, so you will be easier to manipulate into buying insurance, etc. and won't take the time to give the car a thorough inspection.
Even if you do inspect, if you don't buy the windshield insurance, they WILL find a microscopic "chip" that's impossible to see, though the scary goon who's inspecting your car will go right to it like he knows where it is, because he does. I'm convinced that they have some cars with tiny chips in the windshield (which they probably put there) and rent to the people who refuse the insurance.
They also demand your departure flight number and time, so they will know if you're in a hurry to make your flight, and will readily comply, sign their damage forms, and pay them off. OK- give them your flight number, but a few days later- say you're staying it town for awhile. If they know you have some time to haggle, they might not pick you as a mark.
If you do get caught in this scam, don't sign anything, don't give them your credit card. Just get the hell out of there, and block your card later. They can't stop you- even those guys aren't going to risk assault & battery for that. You may be afraid that they'll call the cops, but the cops can't make you sign anything or give somebody your credit card either, and they can't arrest you for refusing. It's an empty threat anyway- they don't want the cops sniffing around their pigpen.
Other places may charge more for a rental-car, but this place could cost you way more in the end. It's hard to beat them. They're snake-oil salesmen, they do this every day, and they're very practiced at taking advantage of people's inability to think clearly in a stressful situation. We customers only do this once in awhile and, like I did, only figure out the right way to handle it later, when it's too late.Review fromKrista G

1 starSTAY AWAY!!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous, beyond unprofessional, highly deceptive, they bait and switch the price with hundreds of dollars in hidden fees, we’ve been waiting 3 hours and we still don’t have the stupid car. Absolute sham!!!! Beyond furious but we pre-paid and need to get on the road so we finally paid the deceptive fees. Who charges $25 PER DAY additional fee for mandatory insurance PLUS $25 PER DAY ON AN UNLIMITED MILES RENTAL to take it out of state at any point during the rental?!?! BEWARE!!!!!!!! The line takes so long because every single person is blindsided with the hidden fees. That should tell them something. Absolutely furious!!!!Review fromAJ H

1 starWould stay away from renting from this place! I had a reservation for a vehicle but when I arrived they claim no vehicle is NOT available and would have to be charged a different rate, all while this location is miles away from the airport so you are stuck there with no CAR that you had RESERVED! Honestly think this was a bait to get customer there, and hope they will accept an upcharge fee. What I got charged was similar if not more to if I just got an vehicle straight from the airport HASSLE free!! 0/5 stars. The headache and stress is not worth it at all.Review fromRic K

1 starEasirent is fraudulently forcing customers to buy their car insurance citing all sorts of reasons & threatening to cancel fully paid reservations if you don’t oblige. Someone needs to file a class action lawsuit against this shady rental car servicer.Review fromChristina O

1 starI would not give this company a star at all. We arrived to get our car and waited in line for over an hour. The lady was so concerned with keeping the door to the building shut instead of waiting on customers. Then we were HIT with a UNKNOWN and UNTOLD hold/fee on our credit card due to someone bringing back a rental car with a cracked windshield. (NOT OUR FAULT) you should let customers know up front that there will be this fee so they can be prepared!!! NOW here we are 10 days later and i still have not received my hold of $250. THEN to top it off we received a email stating we had toll fees from NORTH TEXAS!!! and we rented our car in LAS VEGAS NEVADA and never left the state!!! Are you kidding me! Then when you call customer service they wont help you they just tell you they will put in a ticket and to call back in a couple days. well here we are 10 days later and no hold released..... so beyond frustrating! IF you are looking to book a rental NEVER DO IT THRU THIS COMPANY!!!!!Review fromJERRY B

1 starThis company should not be allowed to do business in the USA.I rented a car that lasted for 6 miles before breaking down.I tried to contact someone at the rental office for 1-2 hours before finally getting to speak to someone who said a manager would get back to me.I stood on the freeway all of this time trying to keep someone from colliding with this piece of junk. Finally the police arrived and had the vehicle towed away.I had to convince the police what happened because Easirent didn't give me any paperwork.I dont know why they are allowed to do business in this country and to rip people off.Review fromShanika F

1 starPrepaid for a car on Saturday October 28th. Annie the agent kept yelling out to the line of angry customers that they overbooked and had no cars. The was not friendly or apologized. I asked about a refund, but because I booked through ******* I had to call ******* to cancel. Now ******* won't refund me stating Easirent has me as a no show!! I went back the following week after my trip, spoke with Danayia. She said Annie was supposed to get my information so that it would show I was there a d refund me. Now I'm stressed and fighting for a refund. Worst customer experience I've ever had. Basically stealing my money. Never received a car and won't refund me. I emailed Easirent and ******* several times. Both telling me to contact the other fir a refund.
I tried contacting the CEO Paul ******, his email returned to me. Who is the CEO or regional manager? I see others had the same experience I had that Saturday with being charged and refused a refund.
