      We live in a very rural NE Iowa area. We pay for 15Mbs on fixed wireless. When Gigfire (formally LTD Broadband) works, it's OK. But when it doesn't it can be horrible for 1-3 days with a download speed of maybe 500Kbs and endless drops. This seems to happen at least once a month. Someone else here said "customer service chats are polite but always give us the same answers. There is a problem upstream or we are part of a known outage" and I can attest that is our experience.
      In my prior life I worked as a network engineer in a very large corporate network of over 100K nodes. I know they have the ability to at least monitor service levels yet they don't appear to be proactive in doing so. It's very frustrating and I'm considering moving to another service, even if there are soft data caps.

      Ditto to some of the earlier poor reviews! We have the same complaint about the hypocrisy of no hidden fees and no contracts. We paid annually since there were no fees nor contracts but when I cancelled they indicated that fine print had been added to the website citing $150 to cancel early -- how were we to have known when our payment was made May 2023 and the change was October 2023. It's been almost a month and I haven't received what little refund was left after deducting the bogus $150 fee. Seems like quite the jab and a poor excuse of customer service. BEWARE folks -- keep looking for other options if you can!

      When Gigfire took over *** Broadband the quality of internet service, as well as customer service, took a nose dive. Starting in October of 2023 our internet speeds hardly ever came close to the speeds we were paying for (which was not an issue with *** Broadband), and even after multiple calls to tech support nothing changed, and no definitive reasoning was ever given, or a timeline of when things would be back up to normal speed. After 2 months of slow speeds and poor customer service, we decided to terminate service, only to find that a $150 cancellation fee now applied, which was not in place with *** Broadband when we renewed our annual contract.Even after taking out the $150 cancellation fee, we were set to get back around $450 for services we paid for in advance. Over 2 months later, and we have still yet to see that refund, even though a representative informed us it would take 4-6 weeks. I've tried reaching out multiple times (at least 6) via email and/or by phone to get an eta on our refund check, and not one person will give me any specific information. They just continue to say they will relay the information to the refund department, and that it's out of their control. No one will give me a direct line to said refund department for me to get in touch with them directly. Just constant excuses and run around in all aspects of the company ever since Gigfire took over.

      I feel this company falsly advertises their services and are overselling their internet service. The service is continuely intermittent or completely out. The steps they require you to take is to trouble shoot with their team either via chat or phone. If it is then determined that the service is out, we can then call and request a reimbursement for the lack of services provided (if it is approved - but it is only added as a credit to the next year you pay for). On their website - they state they provide download speeds up to 1 Gbps - most other companies in the area only offer ******* Mbps (with people stating these services are much better than Gigfire). I just want an honest company to charge accordingly. We do not have many options for internet service in our area. If you are going to oversell your internet and allow anyone and everyone on without adding any equipment to handle the extra congestion - drop your rates and let us know what we are getting into! Also, send communication to the households affected by outages - let us know it is out, why it is out and when to expect it to be back up.

      This company has consistently had internet issues. We have been without internet for days. We call almost daily to have them fix our issues to be told they are sending someone out, to be told they fix it and now no one needs to come or they are coming and no one shows. We now want to cancel after having this service for years and now get told we need to pay a 150 dollar termination fee unless we wait six weeks. This is fraud!!!!!!!!!! We dont have any such contract with this company.

      We have continuous issues with Gigfire internet. Paying for 10 mbps and getting 1 or 2 much of the time. Service also goes on and off completely. Customer service chats are polite but always give us the same answers. There is a problem upstream or we are part of a known outage with no estimate of when service will be restored or brought up to speed. I cannot recommend this service at all.

      Gigfire is just I pay yearly can’t get crap worth internet and always down and all they tell me is they will make a ticket and have someone look into it never once asking to send a tech out and now they won’t give a refund and want to charge me 150 dollar cancellation fee cause there **** sucks!!!!

      I want to warn other consumers not to purchase this companys product. They ***** consumers where no other internet options are available, on their best months internet works about 60% of the time (I know, I kept track, and customer service is not timely at all, and never offers a solution, just says there is a network issue and they will work on it right away. I feel they have stolen from for all of the time I have paid my bill every month and not gotten the service I have paid for.

      Worst internet ever! It is constantly out, and when you call customer service you spend an hour on phone and they say the same thing “shows you are online on our end and everything is working” yet our box is red and we have no internet! The ppl answering the costumer support line are completely clueless! They make you unplug it, take a picture of satellite and then a few other nonsense things that don’t work! Ltd was wonderful since this company has taken over it has been nothing but trouble! My advice is if there is another option for internet go with them, you will be very disappointed with gig fire!
