  This place is a total bait and switch. When going on ****** to renew passport this was first site on webpage. I thought it was the actual government webpage. I fillled out all info to renew my passport just to find out this place just sends you what you filled out and you still have to go to government website. I know how to fill out papers, I didnt need a fraud company charging me 65 dollars to do it. Shame on ****** also for putting them as first contact. When you email or call them you get NO RESPONSE!!

  I just tried to get my passport tonight to give them all my info and pay only to receive nothing and they said an email was sent that was NOT. I spent almost 90 dollars for no reason !!

  This is a SCAM of a business. They asked for Personal Identifiable Information not needed in a DS-82 passport renewal form. This includes my parents personal information, including my mothers maiden name, and my SSI number. I wish for ALL my information to be deleted from this "business" immediately. I have filed a complaint as well with the as the site is misleading and is NOT affiliated with the US Government.

  Complete scam! When you ****** "Passport renewal" they are first on feed and look legit, and I am terrified this is a scam to steal my data. PLEASE ASK THIS COMPANY TO DELETE MY DATA FROM THEIR SERVERS!

  SCAM. Opened a business and this company fakes to be the *** website. Was charged ****** for something that should have been FREE. Contacted the company after realizing this was a SCAM site and requested a refund. Was told NO. Never did receive an EIN number. Please shut this site DOWN! Had to leave a one star review but it should have been NO STARS for a SCAM service that is posing as the ***.

  No star rating. My mistake for being misled to go onto this website and provide personal information and pay $329 for an EIN. As soon as I realized what I had done (within minutes of completing the transaction), I called and requested a cancellation of the application and fee. I spoke with a customer service representative who confirmed my cancellation request had been completed. I received an email confirming the cancellation. I called my bank to alert them to my interest in the charge being cancelled. Hopefully, the security promises this company makes are legit.

  On top of charging an unconscionable fee for what people could obtain for free directly from the **** they are violating *** rules by not obtaining a signed paper SS-4 form prior to obtaining the *** online. It is a requirement that they do so. I found out a client used this service and requested a copy of the SS-4 in order to verify the information was correct. They did not have one--they sent me a copy of the online application they asked my client to submit and were unaware of the *** rule that they have a signed SS-4 to be kept on hand. I have requested they refund my client's money and have not had a reply since pointing them directly to the *** website and this rule they are in violation of.

  Terribly shameful. My story is no different than everyone else's. This company poses as the ************************ and charges $329 for a service that is absolutely free and takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. They justify the price by *emailing* you the **** which the *** does not do. But the *** does not email it to you because the *** website hands it to you in a PDF at the end of the registration process. I know the Govt Assist website has (very small) disclaimers explaining they are a third-party service; nevertheless, I marvel that this is legal.

  This company is completely unethical. Their name and URL lead the user to believe that they are part of the **** Their reasoning is that the user agrees to the terms and conditions, but that is irrelevant because we are led to believe that this is the process to obtain and EIN. If this company is claiming to offer a paid service and expedited EIN issuance, then just be honest and say that in the first place. There should be a clear and visible disclosure in the very beginning and not hidden in the fine print stating that this is a third-party service. Furthermore, it should be clearly stated that an EIN can be obtained from the *** website for free. If their claim to value is that they offer other third party business services, then just say that. We were charged $329 for a service that is free. This is unethical, and while they try to justify it with the fact that users have to agree to the terms of service, there is still no disclosure that the user can do it themselves for no charge through a government website. We are expected to act ethically and be open and honest as citizens, and businesses should be expected to do the same and act in the best interest of the consumer. Even the name Govt Assist is a carefully crafted dishonorable way to mislead consumers- their business practices are immoral and should be stopped. Shame on you all taking hard working people's money who are trying to start a business and make a better life for themselves. You are a disgrace to our country. Your behavior is precisely the type of behavior that gives **************************** a bad name.
