    As I see there are many complaints against this company. Here is another. The GovAssist title leads one to believe it is a government site. It is not and one does not realize until they submit all their personal information and then ask for double the price for requesting a passport. This was done on May 13,2025.

    I requested all my information be deleted from this site on both May 13 and May 14. Their response is only that they updated my ticket #********.
    I am requesting a written response that all my information has been deleted.******

    On Oct I4 th. 2024 I Attempted To Go on Line with full intent of Applying for opening A business in the state of Ct. Un Knowing Because There Was no Info telling any thing about third party.I filled out all info .Thinking The State Of Ct Was Whom Was Asking. These crooks EGOV-ASSIST.COM Charged My Wells Fargo Credit Card Eith Two Separate Charges $343.00 And $235.00 I Never Agreed To Any Charges From Them. The Stoled From Me.

    I was looking to renew my passport. This was my first time doing it since I haven’t had one since I was a minor.

    I looked up how to file for a new passport and GovtAssist came up.

    It told me i can fill out the forms online and pay through them, then there would just be a processing fee at the post office. So I paid $120 dollars to fill out paperwork expecting a small fee at the post office just to find out I had to pay $180 for everything and they told me I could have just done the paperwork for free at the office.

    The website was misleading making me believe I was paying for the passport book itself and not just the paperwork.

    And even having used their online “service” they filled out my information incorrectly so I had to fix it in the post office anyway. The service didn’t even do what it needed to do correctly.

    I applied at GovAssist to renew my passport. I thought it was like other companies like renews drivers licenses and that you would go through the process online and get your renewal through the mail. They took my money and did nothing except provide my an application., I still have to go to the passport office and submit the application to them, still pay a fee and submit other documents. I don’t understand the point of GovAssist if I still have to pay and go anywhere to do anything else.

    These people are pretending to be a government website.

    I put information in thinking it was legitimate, and then something felt off.
    I searched them and found they are NOT legitimate

    Govt Assist Visas are not responding and do not list direct contact. They are misleading. My son was led to believe they were a government agency.
    My son ***** ****** has applied for Schengen Visa through Govt Assist. Schengen said Govt Assist are an independent agency and private, not a government agency. I am worried that he may not hear from them again. now they have taken his money.

    I went to this site and submitted personal information when filing for my EIN number. I realized this is not the government website I had intended to use. I would now like all personal information and data permanently deleted from their severs.

    I searched for a Global Entry renewal on the web. The Gov Assist site came up and it looked like it was the govt website, not a private website. Based on believing it was the government, they ask some very discreet personal information, thinking we were providing info to the govt to renew our Global Entry. They never disclosed they were a private firm versus the govt. After inputing all of the personal info, they then submit billing, again not disclosing that they are a private company. After entering your credit card, it is only then that you learn that they are a firm based in Puerto Rico. Total Scam. When we contacted our credit card company, they said they are a scam. I am now worried that the information provided is now on the Dark Web. I felt totally violated

    Hi, I entered sensitive personal information to this site. The site is deceiving and is set up to look like the *** page to file for a business EIN number and charges $255 for the filing fee (which is a free service on *** official website). I am concerned for the protection of my SSN, full name and address and would like the company to confirm that all of my records have been deleted and destroyed in all capacities and is not to be used in any way.
