American Coradius LLC sent me a debt collections notice dated February 1, 2023 for $31.86. They are stating they are trying to collect a debt I owe to “******, Inc”.
I believe this to be a fraudulent attempt at collecting money as my ****** account has no history of any recent transactions.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
But I would like to comment that of all the complaints that I read about this company, when you see the resolutions they made, they are always conceding to the customer without any explanation. I do not think this is a upstanding company at all. They just keep their good standing with you by retracting what they say we supposedly owed.

American Coradius International LLC is fraudulently claiming that I owe $95.62 to ******, Inc. I do not have any charges, invoices, claims, or bills from ******. My account has been in good standing and paid in full every time it is used. I received a debt collection bill in the mail from ACI stating I owed $95.62 on 12/14/2022 and that I still owe this amount. The letter from ACI is dated 1/23/2023. They state my ****** account number is *******************. The ACI reference number is ********. This claim is false and this is a scam. Legal action will be taken if any of part of this false claim is reported to any credit reporting agency. I want all aspects of this resolved. I am beyond disappointed that nothing has been done about these repeated actions by this company. Furthermore, the numerous complaints filed against this company for the same issue is obvious evidence that this is a scam. I will not be responding to this letter. I am using this complaint as proof that I do not owe this debt.Business Response

This collection agency sent me a letter asking for 77.00 that I owe to ******. I have never bought anything from ******. I have reported them to ******. When I ******* this company many others have experienced the same issue where this company tries to collect money that is not owed. This company should not be allowed to be in business as a result of them scamming people. I'm sure there are many people that have just paid them out of fear. I called them directly and asked them to remove this request and they were very rude. I just want to make sure this doesn't continue to happen to others and my credit is not affected by this fraudulent company scamming people out of hard earned money.Business Response

American Coradius International LLC (or a fake entity using their information) sent me a false claim stating I owe a debt of $96.26 to the Creditor: ******, Inc. with Reference #: ******** that was forwarded to me dated January 17, 2022.
I find this surprising and believe that this is a fraudulent claim against me. This complain is to be shown as proof of the complaint and that I will not be responding to the claim because it is fraudulent.
I have never had a balance with ****** in my life. I can also see that I have a balance of $0.00 and have not used the account in over 12+ months. I do not even have a credit card with ****** (thus not possible to have a balance). ****** has never reached out to me either regarding this fraudulent inquiry further leading to the case of fraud or a scam.
Legal action will be taken if any part of this false claim is allowed to continue or if any false information is reported to any credit reporting agency. I want all aspects of this fraudulent report resolved and removed. Looking on the BBB website it looks as if this case is continuing to pop up over and over again with numerous customers being falsely targeted and harassed by this scam. This needs to be reviewed and quickly resolved so no further false harassment occurs.Business Response

I received a email about a debt that was transferred to ACI from ****** without notice!
I reach out to BBB today In this issue as it's all completely fraudulent. I owe no debt. I've never authorized any transactions. I've received numerous debt harassing spam calls. Countless emails from ****** and ***** accounts I have no knowledge of. I receive emails for accounts opening up under my email addresses and I opt out for receiving them as I have no use being harrassed for what seems to be a problem with online identity theft. I request that I be removed from whatever debt collection list. Fraud charges or harassment isn't my cup of tea!Business Response
