This company is reputable and reliable. NOT all auto transport companies are! These folks did what they said they would and kept in close communication with us the entire time the car was loaded to the time it arrived 1100 miles later. From the uptake person to the actual driver, everyone was kind and kept their word as to the pick up and delivery of our car.SGT Auto Transport Corp.

Its one star because theres no way to show zero stars. This company issued me a guaranteed price but when the transport was being confirmed they wanted to charge 20% more than the guaranteed quoted price. I cancelled and they immediately charged me a $149 cancellation fee saying I did not cancel quotes from other companies. I had documentation of the other company cancellations but they did not ask for any support, they just charged the $149 fee. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL STATE A PRICE IS GUARANTEED AND THEN ATTEMP TO INCREASE THE PRICE BEFORE SERVICE IM PROVIDED.SGT Auto Transport Corp.

First, we want to emphasize that transparency and integrity are core values at SGT Auto Transport. We work hard to clearly communicate our policies and procedures at every stage of the shipping process. The quote you received was issued with a rate based on standard market conditions and assuming the vehicle was not double-booked with multiple brokers.
As stated in the signed terms and conditions under Section 1j, a Double booked/booking occurs when a customer books with multiple brokers simultaneously. This disrupts our ability to negotiate in good faith with licensed carriers. It also causes confusion and mistrust within our carrier network and leads to unnecessary increases in transport costs and delays. Unfortunately, in your case, the vehicle was double-booked, which impacted our ability to secure a carrier at the originally quoted rate.
As for the cancellation fee, your request to cancel was honored. However, as outlined clearly in our contract under Section 8b(B), the $149 cancellation fee is applicable when:
The cancellation occurs before the estimated pickup window expires, or
The transport has been double-booked with another broker.Both of these conditions applied to your booking.
We understand the frustration cancellations and price changes can cause. However, we also want to express the reality that significant time, money, and resources go into coordinating each shipment. Once a contract is signed, our team immediately begins the process of sourcing, vetting, and securing the most reliable and compliant carrier for your transport.
We genuinely appreciate all honest feedback, and in turn, we offer the same. No one is obligated to use our service, but using our resources and electing not to cover the associated costs is neither reasonable nor fair.
We stand by our commitment to our customers and to executing service contracts in good faith. This structure protects both parties and ensures quality service. Our policies including the cancellation fee are disclosed verbally, in writing, on our website, and in all confirmation emails.

WARNING!! This was the worst experience Ive ever had with a car transport. DO NOT USE THIS TRANSPORT COMPANY. *** has ZERO integrity or professionalism. Instead of contacting you to let you know they couldnt find a carrier, instead of being honest, transparent and forthcoming about whats happening with your case, they drag you along until its too late. Once you sign up with them via a sales agent you are funneled to communicate with dispatch only. Good luck with that. They rarely pick up their phone and will leave you in waiting in a queue for 30mins until its your turn, only to disconnect the call when youre next. I assume they have some sort of system which allows them to see which customer is calling by phone number, so if they dont have a driver they dont care to talk to you and explain or be honest. They dont care one iota about their image, reputation or how their negligence affects your life. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You have been forewarned. Would give it a zero star if I could.... Waisted 2 weeks on my transport...Terrible communication and false promises. Kept being told that driver was coming/going to be scheduled....Finally pulled the plug and went somewhere else....Cheap(er) price initially but you get what you pay for...On the positive side, refund was promptly issued.SGT Auto Transport Corp.

Very *** service They had a date to pick up car no later than 5/2 This was booked for Six weeks They never picked up car They kept making excuses They never answered my calls or called me back After the date of 5/2 they had no driver for my car Well they decided to charge me ****** for a cancellation fee What a scam They cant find a driver to pick up your car so they charge you a cancellation fee what a scam. I also noticed a great review in my name which I never wrote They seem to be writing there own reviews using customers names On there web site they have ALL great reviews I wonder why Go on yelp or other sites and see ALL the real reviews You will be very surprised how much *** really ***** I ended up driving the car back up North because of a very unreliable companySGT Auto Transport Corp.

Please note that the $149 cancellation fee was initially charged in connection with a cancellation request we received on 04/02/2025. After that request, your booking was renewed, but the original cancellation fee had already been collected at that time and was not a result of the later cancellation.
As outlined in the Terms and Conditions of the signed contract, we work with an estimated pickup windownot a guaranteed one. This is clearly stated and agreed upon prior to placing an order. Furthermore, wed like to clarify that your vehicle was double-booked with another broker, which significantly delayed and complicated the scheduling process.
Per Section 8(b) of the signed agreement, if an order is double-booked with another broker, the cancellation fee still applies. We encourage you to review the cancellation policy in full under that section for more details.Regarding your claim of a fabricated review, we take such accusations very seriously. If you believe a review was posted fraudulently using your name, we kindly ask that you provide more specific details so we may investigate this matter thoroughly.

I found *** to be professional and very well priced. Although there isn't much communication after your car is picked up, if you call the company directly and ask for an update, they are very happy to help. I was very nervous about shipping my car across the country for receipt by my daughter, but they delivered it on time and were very courteous and professional to my daughter when she picked it up.
