  Great experience with the flat rate team. They took exceptional care with my belongings, wrapping everything meticulously. And their ability to maximize every square inch of the storage unit was greatly appreciated, and impressive to watch. Have already recommended them!

  This is a very dishonest Co. Moved my belongings with out notifying me from a climate controlled facility to a non climate controlled facility. Loss, stole and damaged items through a non consent move. The only reason I found out was because I need some items out of H31363**6313530383033H. This is when they told me that they had moved location from **************************************************** **** to *****************. Items were handle and restored very poorly. I filed a claim and won my claim and I have yet to be paid. No one replies back even after numerous of e-mails that have been sent to the higher chain of command ******************************* and Flatrates legal team. But they still continue to expect monthly payments for H31363**6313530383033H. If there was a way to upload photos I would do so as proof of what I have said. There were very expensive one of a kind custom items that belonged to my deceased parents that can not be replaced. My father spent 30 yrs in the military and during his travel he would ship items to my mother from all over the world. These pieces CAN NOT be replaced. I entrusted this *** to move and store my belongings safely and in a proper way and they failed and now after wining a judgement against them they have failed again to pay for there error. For anyone reading this go on to LA Superior Court type in case # **CMSC00610 small claims ******* Court to review the judgement against Flate Rate H3**43930393637363731H System. The headquarters is Bronx, ******** but I used there location at ********************************** Pico ****** *****. You may see all the good reviews but DO NOT !! let that fool you. Beware!! All it takes is one and the good reviews may have been smaller jobs and not as many expensive valuable items that I had stored. Not saying they didn't do a good job for the people that gave them the 5 stars. I'm only testifying to my experience and it has been a very dissatisfied experience at the least. A true NIGHTMARE.

  Had an amazing experience working with FlatRate. We did a full-service move: packing, moving, flat surface unpacking (i.e., they don't put everything into an exact place but it's all in the right room out of the box). I'm never going back to any other service for moving. Team of 5 was so professional and so fast. They were just really, really good at packing things up in the most efficient way possible. It spanned across two days - pack up old apartment and move stuff into truck on first day, move into new apartment on day two - and on the first day the ******* knew better than us what we would need for the overnight (the only furniture left in the old apartment overnight was our bed, and we had some small amount of other stuff in the bathroom plus a change of clothes. They came back for the bed and bathroom stuff the next morning before we went to the new apartment). He would be like "Are you sure you have your toothbrush? Your chargers? are these the keys? How many pillows?" By the time they left us on the second day after unpacking, we were basically able to start using the apartment - i.e., all the furniture was built, everything was outside of boxes, I knew where everything was (even if they weren't exactly where I'd want them to be longterm). If you can possibly afford it, I would highly recommend at least getting a quote on what a full service move would be.
