I have a home warranty policy with Complete Care Home Warranty and I filed a claim back in February which I have not received payment. I called every month since may after there mandatory 90 day processing period. They gave me a different reason every time as to why I had not received payment for claim ***** on policy *********. the customers service rep would say I cant provide that kind of information a member of management will contact you which they never do. I one instant I was able to get management on the phone they state the claim was process and the payment department only prints checks once a month and your will be printed in the next batch that was July. 10.01.2022 I sent a email to there Claims which I was directed by the customer service rep on the September call so I could cancel the policy. I haven't heard back form them. I called today and there number is no longer working.Business Response

My wife and I bought a 6 year home warranty for $2700 in January of 2022. We tried to use the warranty on a number of occasions and found that no subcontractors (those that fix the warranty claims) were willing to work with this company. We are located in *****. I cancelled my policy in August of 2022 after only 7-8 months of coverage in which they couldnt fix ****! I had filed a claim July 21 and 22 for my dishwasher and microwave. I had a tech over who diagnosed the issue and it would be cheaper to replace the two appliances and the home warranty was going to cut me a check for the amount they would have covered for repairs to go toward new appliances. I spent $2250 for 6 years of warranty, ever since the first time I needed a repair I've had issues and have asked to get my money back. They sent a technician that only took care of one problem the ice maker, a month later the ice maker is not working again. When I try calling the number is disconnected and there is no way to reach any of the numbers they have given me. I would like my full amount back I don't trust them to send any good technicians and feel that this is a scam since now all their numbers are disconnected.Business Response

The agreement was for 6 years for $2250, that is $375 a year. A $1000 refund is not acceptable when they sent someone that was not qualified to fix my refrigerator and puts a part in that doesnt even last a month. I have not had this policy for a year yet, started 12/26/21, the right thing to do would be refund me the entire amount for all the trouble I had to go through with this company but I will accept back $1875 Plus my $45 copay, I paid for the bad job that was done, to the same card I made initial payment with.

I purchased a home warranty policy in March 2022. I have a paid acknowledgement and bank receipt. I have been trying to call this business to file a claim and the numbers are no longer in service. I can't locate any other numbers. I paid hundreds of dollars for a policy with a company that I can't use. This not good. In the past, I have had no issues with reaching them and now I can't. What customer portal are you referring to? I have never used a portal to make a service request. I attempted to locate anything in the website that refers to a customer portal and I couldn't find one. I tried to call your company and none of the numbers worked. I email your customer support box and never received a response. My contract states to initiate a service request to dial ************ 24x7. No portal information listed. I would like a complete refund.

I signed a 6-yr contract with Complete Care Home Warranty back in Oct. 2021. The sum of the plan was $5400 for three properties for the term between 10/13/2021 10/13/2027. So far, only one very small claim (I believe it was <$100) in Oct. 2021 was successfully executed. Since then, I have two claims to report but have not been able to connect with a supervisor since February 2022 after numerous (>20) calls, emails and online filing on their website. Many of the calls no one picked up after long holds. The last few calls I and one of my tenants made were in early October before this writing and the phones beeped twice and became silent (dead) I cannot call anymore! Here are some additional details:1)Before their phone lines ***************************) became dead, Every time I called, if the phones did go through on occasions, someone in their call center answered the call and I told them to report my claims, make notes online in my accounts and/or email me so I can have a record of the call. They said that they cannot record online nor email me, but they would tell the supervisor to call me back. Of course no one ever did! I asked to speak to the supervisor, I was told that I could not because the supervisor was not available. 2)For some of the calls, I made notes on the dates and what were told. For example, I made calls in March, May, Aug., Sept. (9/2, 9/7, 9/12). I sent emails in Aug., no response so more mailing wont help at all and I stopped email them.3)Their phones stopped ringing recently in October 4)The contract says that I can cancel anytime and will be refunded with prorate. But I have no way to ask them to cancel.***** help me to contact Complete Care Home Warranty, ask them to cancel the contract for me and send me the refund. First of all, thank you so much for being able to get the business CCHW to reply to BBB about my complaint because CCHW never responded to me directly to this day. However, their response is far from satisfactory and will not close the case because 1) I have three policies in the contract, not two as in their response; 2) they said in the response that I can cancel, but they did not say how and whether they will refund me (with pro-rate); 3) on their website, there is no function for cancellation, and they have not responded to my request for cancellation, so I have no way to get their acknowledgement about my cancellation request and a confirmation about the refund. Therefore, I'd really appreciate if you could continue to follow up with them about my complaint And ask them to contact me about my request for cancellation because you are able to get their response!! Please let me know if you have any suggestions for me. I will also try to call you to the number in your email ************.

I tried calling them again at least a dozen times but their number is no longer working. I had to hire my own contractor. I believe they need to cover the cost. There are similar complaints to mine nearly every day this past month so clearly it is their business model. The government should hold these crooks accountable. FULL REFUND

You are to be available 24/7. To this day I am unable to make contact with the company. I did not receive a response when I submitted a claim via your site. I request a refund of my payment. The only response I have received is via BBB. YOU are in breach of contract!
REQUESTING SERVICE
We must be notified as soon as the malfunction is discovered and prior to expiration of the Contract. You can request service by calling ************. We will accept service
requests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will not provide service until all past due Service Call Fees and Contract fees are made current.
1. Upon request for service under normal circumstances, We will contact a Service Contractor within forty-eight (48) after You request service. The Service Contractor will contact
You to schedule a mutually convenient appointment during normal business hours. We will determine what repairs constitute an emergency and will make reasonable efforts to
expedite emergency service. We will accept Your request to expedite scheduling of non-emergency service only when a Service Contractor is available. If the Service Contractor
agrees to expedite scheduling of a non-emergency service request, You may be required to pay an additional fee.
2. We have the sole and absolute right to select the Service Contractor to perform the service. We will not reimburse You for services performed without Our prior approval.
3. We reserve the right to obtain a second opinion at Our expense. In the event that We inform You the malfunction is not covered under this Contract, You have the right to request
a second opinion concerning the cause of the malfunction. You must ask Us for a second opinion from another Service Contractor within seven (7) days from Us informing You the
malfunction is not covered. In the event that the outcome of the second opinion is different than the first opinion, then We may, in Our discretion, decide whether to accept coverage
under this Contract. If You request a second opinion, You will be responsible for the payment of an additional Service Call Fee only if the outcome of the second opinion is the same
as the initial opinion.
4. In the event We authorize or request You to contact an independent service contractor to perform a covered service, We will provide reimbursement for an authorized amount of
the cost You incur for the repair or replacement services. Acceptable proof of the repair and Your actual itemized costs must be provided to and approved by Us before any
reimbursement will be paid. We are not responsible for expenses You incur without Our express consent. We will not reimburse You for any costs associated with unauthorized
repairs or work performed by unauthorized contractors.
5. If service work performed under this Contract should fail, then We will make the necessary repairs without an additional Service Call Fee for a period of 90 days on parts and 30
days on labor.In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
