Complete care home Warrenty is a fraud. Service respites orders have been made and no services were completed or repaired or reimbursed as they informed would be. Any calls made are dropped like a phone call hang up after several hours of being put on hold.Business Response

I called for them to service my ac unit on July 21 they responded with email and said they would assign technician within 48 hours.I called back on July 24to find out status and was told no one was available.I then asked to speak to customer service of which they transferred me to and proceeded to wait for 30 minutes no one picked up.Called them back three additional times with no one picking up. I then called them a fourth time and asked about canceling my policy and was told I would get a call back. They didnt so I called them again today and asked for cancellation of my policy and again was told they would call back I asked when and they said maybe tomorrow person who handles is out.They continue to transfer you to different departments that no one answers.I paid for a 42 month contract and would like the balance back of 28 months.Also I noticed that for the different departments they have the same person but they tell you they need to transfer you to another department.Business Response

I purchased a home warranty from Complete Care Home Warranty. My hot water heater began leaking on July 25th 2022. I checked my policy and it states that the Water heater is covered. This is the exact verbiage used in the policy - WATER HEATER: COVERED: All components and parts for gas and/or electric hot water heaters, including circulating pumps, except:I called to place a claim and the representative told me that the tank is not covered. The main part of a hot water heater is the tank - how can they say it is covered when the main part is not covered. The way the policy reads is very confusing and I believe it is deceptive. I believe the company needs to change the verbiage in their policy so that is apparent that the tank is not covered.Business Response

Home warranty policies from Complete Care were purchased for four residential units we own on ******************* in ***********, **. The policies were cancelled before they became effective, and we were told we would receive full refunds. Two policies were purchased, and each cost $500. It's possible there were four because of the way they were written, but we're not certain because we can't get clarity from the company. The refunds were to come via our escrow officer who assisted with the purchase of the units. This is a long story, and I'll keep it short. After many fiascos involving claimed refunds sent to the wrong address, at least a half dozen calls with the customer service ***** transfers to supervisors and, eventually, correspondence with ***************************, the consumer advocate, we received ONE $500 check.When we again corresponded with *****, she said she was only working from home one day per week, and our complaint had been sent back to their ***************** for the remaining refund(s). The address was incorrect because the insurance company claims they sent the check to the address of the investment property, not the address of the title company ... or our address. If they could send the first check to us - which we received - it seems silly to think they couldn't send the second one.
They are admitting they owe us money. Even giving them the benefit of the doubt that they actually sent the check to the title company, it would have been many months ago, and the check is stale.
If they are so sure they sent it to the title company, have them provide proof that the check was received and cashed. They will not be able to do that. Then please request that they cancel the check and send the $500 to: *****************, *********************************************************************** *****. This is where they sent the prior check that was received.
I know your job is to deal with facts, but I can't help editorializing. All of the steps I am asking the BBB to take ones I have discussed on numerous occasions with this insurance carrier. They are unfortunately inept to the point that their disorganization feels intentional. We have two other investors who are owed $1,000 each. Eventually, they just gave up. I am very hopeful you can resolve this matter for me.

I bought a policy from Complete Care Home Warranty ( policy #*********) to cover home repairs. I filed a claim for an ** repair that they denied, calling it a pre-existing condition. That seems like an excuse to me since the ** has been working fine for almost a year since signing up for their policy. I have been trying to reach them to get clarification and get their denial in writing. However, I have not been able to reach anybody there.- They don't respond to emails - Calls are put on hold for more than an hour and then it just disconnects - Even if I want to give up on this claim and only aim to get a refund on my policy (which I'm eligible per their contract), there is no one to speak to. I'm always put on hold and call disconnects - They also claim that only "*********************" can resolved this. But in my experience, **** does not respond to emails and does not pick up calls.It feels like this is a fraudulent activity to avoid keeping their part of the contract. A quick ****** search reveals that many customers have this problem. The "long wait times" eventually frustrates the customers and they give up. As a part of that fix, I asked that dye also be added in the eventuality there is a problem in the future. A year later the A/C stopped working and the dye that was added a year ago showed that there's a leak in the evaporator coil. Complete Care told me that the presence of the dye indicates the leak was already present and thus it is a pre-existing condition. This document has already been shared with Complete Care Home Warranty. I don't understand why they cannot state reasons for denial in writing? I request BBB to get this claim passed and at the very least get the reason for denial in writing.

I purchased a Home Warranty Contract from Complete Care Home Warranty on 28 Feb 2022, active on 28 March 2022, and paid in full for 6 years. Contract Number: ********* Since that date, I've filed 3 claims. 1 was completed. 2 are still open as of 19 *** 2022. I'm so dissatisfied with the way they conduct "business" that I've been trying to cancel the warranty since 01 July 2022 and have yet to talk to the "1 person in the ************************** I have called at least 50 times since 01 July and continually get transferred to the ************************** where I have been on hold over 3 hours; over an hour and then it hangs up on me; had someone hang up on me while on hold; have been told that "my issue has been escalated and I would receive a call then next day", etc. etc. I've also emailed the company (no response) and have tried contacting the man who sold me the contract (no longer a valid number or email).Zero phone calls back to me to resolve my issue of wanting to cancel and I have yet to speak to the "manager" who is the only person that can cancel my contract. I want a full refund on what I paid for this erroneous contract in the amount of $2100.00. The amount of time I've wasted on hold and them not fulfilling my claim since 19 *** is unacceptable. Its not fraudulent when I called over 50xs to cancel a policy that was NOT living up to the contract. I had an open claim since 19 May. So yes, after getting nowhere with your company I filed this complaint with the BBB (as I see others have had the exact same issue). I still tried for a few days to get ahold of your cancellations department. I received no call back and did not talk to anyone that could cancel the policy again. At that point I filed a dispute on the charge with my credit card company to have them look into the issue. So, no its NOT fraudulent, as you stated , its a consumer trying to get back what was previously paid for, in full, from a company that seems to not fulfill the services set forth in the contract and seems fraudulent themselves.

Paid by credit Card for 6 years of warranty. Was told I could cancel at any time and get my money back, pro rated. I started with Complete Care Home Warranty on 3/18/2021, policy # *********. I originally paid $1950.00. On 4/12/2022, I canceled my policy with *****. I was told I would receive $1,146.00 back within ***** days. I called on 5/4/22 after not receiving check, was told by *****, it was in processing. I called on 5/26/22, 6/7/22, 6/13/22, 6/15/22,6/18/22. On 6/20/22 ************ told me check was sent 6/17/22. Called 7/1/22 - ************ said he would check with ********** Office where they process the checks and call me back. Never received any calls. Called on 7/11/22,7/13/22 and 7/14/22. After being on hold for hours, calls were just dropped, never got to talk to ***********, who supposedly is only person to take care of this. I filed a claim on 3/5/2022 supervisor ****** stated a check of $157.00 was going to be mailed out first in 30 days than in 90 days then states batch not ready and now does not pick up the phone does not answer leaves phone on hold for more than an hour then hangs up when transferred from customer care its is now Jully ******* and no answer no refund I've called all departments they either don't pick up or transfer me to ****** need my money and paid for 3 years of this warrenty it's been horribleBusiness Response

Upon review, we do see that there is a refund due. Since you have not received it as of yet, we will be happy to reach out to our billing department and see if it was cashed. If it hasn't then you have the option of paying the $35 to have the checks reissued or you will have to wait 90 days.

I ************************* am rejecting completecare home warrenty for the following reasons: this is a three year contract from 7/2021 to 7/2024 I've paid $975.00in total this complaint is from March 2022 and still current per your supervisor ****** a check of $157.00 was due but not is***d or sent due to the lack of company funds so how can you charge me $35.00 for a check that was never is***d also upon checking on your reviews I see complete care home warrenty does not pay their clients at all people have been waiting for over a year its been since March 5 2022 for me and so you are breach of contract false advertising and illegally performance with avoiding people's claims and not paying their money so I will make a formal complaint to north ****************** and show proof on social media and get an attorney now I want my full payment of $975.00 for false advertising and breach of contract and I will *** you and go to court hoping to file a class action lawsuit on all the people this company robbed and falsely with bad intent had breach of contract sincerely ************************* a very dissapointed customerCustomer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I ************************* am stating that I have replied and answered all your questions and messages from the company I've asked proof of certified and registered mail also a routing number and rece8ved nothing now the BBB is saying that this is closed that I did not respond but I did I need a professional at the BBB to come help me file a civil suit with you as proof that this company is a fraud I've seened several other complaints and the BBB does nothing this company is stealing people's money and the BBB has the proof and is doing nothing im requesting for a review a copy of these records and help 8n filing a civil lawsuit
