      I stopped by Brooklyn Volkswagen on 10/22/2022.Fortunately, I didn't pay them, but they steeled my information without my permission and I'm in a trouble about it. I'd like Brooklyn Volkswagen to process to cancellation of the hard inquiries they did.I saw a nice car and the salesperson ****** asked me if I wanted to know about this monthly payment, and I said yes. But I also said I won't buy a car today, only check it. I believe he understood it.In the store, he asked me for my driver's license and private information like my SSN, etc, I remember I said to him again not to buy a car on the day because he asked me too much my information.After a long time waiting, ****** a financial called me to his desk and asked me whether I liked this car so I said yes.He explained the monthly payment and terms, but it was too high for me, so I said so and tried to leave. He said that because I said I liked this car, he understood I would buy this. He also said that he already inquired about 3-4 companies, so I wouldn't get finance from any other stores. I really confused but I needed a car so I paid $6,000 via my card as the downpayment and left the store. ****** and ****** made me hurry to get car insurance, but my broker was off during the day, so I left the store without a signature on the contract. It was lucky.After that, I emailed ******, to make sure of the details of the contract before signing, because my calculation didn't match ******'s explanation and he didn't show me the APR and the total cost. I also emailed that I would buy the car after I understood the details of the cost. But he didn't answer my request and contacted me only for insurance sometimes. Afterward, I canceled the downpayment from my credit card company.Now, I haven't been able to make auto-finance since this happened. My credit score was also down thought temporarily.Is this really a Volkswagen dealership? they didn't have business cards, and the email address was Gmail.

      On November 6th I took my car in to have them service ** transmission for the 3rd time, having my car for almost 5 weeks they said they can't honor the warranty because someone had put transmission fluid in the vehicle. Now I only service my vehicle with them and Explained to them that I never took my vehicle to a 3rd party mechanic because I'm still covered under warranty from them and it doesn't make sense for me to spend money by a mechanic, now I'm being told I have to get my car off the compound...... I'm lost and don't know what next steps I should take.

      On August 28th I purchased a 2022 Volkswagen **** from Volkswagen on *************. The car only had 13 miles on it. I live in *********** and travel back and forth for work and my childrens school in ********. I work for MTA. On October ********************* my car, and I wasnt far from the the dealer located in Brooklyn because I had business to handle in the city. I dropped of my car to get the nose checked out and I left. No one called me to let me know what was going on so I went back to the dealer to see what was going on. The service representative that was helping me informed me that, that the car needed a transmission. Immediately I was alarmed. How is that a brand new car needed such a major part. The car currently had **** mile on it. I immediately became emotional because I didnt know what else to do. I was told the didnt have any loaner car for me and that I had to get my own rental car. This became even more of an inconvenience. And I was told they will not cover the rental and they also had no knowledge of when the car would be fixed because parts had to be ordered. I then requested to do a by back. I know longer want this Brand new broken car. This has cause me a huge inconvenience of time and money. Money which I have to find to get around with my children. When I purchased this car I traded in my old car, then gave me $7000 for it and I also put down $5500 cash to get this car. And now I have to continue to pay the note and insurance and also pay for a rental car. This has been the worst nightmare of my life. I want my money back that I put down all $12000 and I want nothing to do with this company.

      Bought a vehicle from this dealer on August 28, was promised paperwork to get vehicle registered within 10 days. I call them every few days and cant get anyone to tell me where to get my papers. Tags are expired, got a ticket for driving with expired tags. All this and vehicle was extremely rusted and dealer did not disclose.

      When I bought My 2020 ******** *** amg 45 from Brooklyn volkswagen on kings rd in January 2022, I bought the vw drive easy protection and also the tire and wheel protection. Then I traded in my car and the loan was completely paid off. After the payoff, I filed a cancelation for both the vw drive easy coverages and contacted drive easy and they confirmed they canceled it on August 3rd, 2022. They sent the information to the dealership to issue my refund in the amount of $4,616.38 which is the total for both coverages. I called them 5 times and they keep transferring me to different people and i left voicemail to each person and no one contacted me. Then I called and asked to speak to the general sales manager *** and he talked to me rudely and then said to hold while he finds out information. He had me on hold for over 45 minutes. I have a screenshot of this proof, then he returns to the line and hangs up on me. I'm just trying to get my money back and this shady dealership is not cooperating.

      Im concerned about an Un-authorized hard credit check. When I was looking at VWs at Brooklyn VW in Nov of 2021 in search of an AWD TIGUAN 2022, I was told by ******, a salesperson at the dealership, and other employees, to fill out a form that would pre-qualify me, and would NOT perform a hard check. This was the only reason I would have signed, given that I was trying to apply for credit cards and I did not wish to have another hard check. Now, after looking at my recent credit report, I see that was not the case, and I'm very frustrated the dealership not only performed a hard pull without my consent, but misled me and lied to me. Had I known this, I never wouldve signed this form. This is fraud and should be reversed immediately, and removed from my credit history with all bureaus, or I will file additional complaints for fraud as well.
