Disgusting. Predatory. Liars.Got a book that arrived late although I paid for rush shipping (06/14/2022). I had originally cancelled the order 2 hours after I made it but the twas "too late". Went to return the late book and it was a mess. Had to pay for return shipping. Was charged a fee for the return. None of this was transparent in the process. Also, the lag times on communication (3-4 days each) were ridiculous. I cannot dis-recommend them enough.Booksrun.com Inc.

According to our records, within the order in question the item Building Customer-brand Relationships, ISBN ************* was purchased on 05/30/2022 with the 2 Day method of shipment. As per our records, the item was indeed shipped the next business day with the tracking number *******************************************************************************************. Unfortunately, current circumstances have influenced the work of mail carriers which sometimes may result in the carrier not scanning the packages at each location, providing updates and delivery with a delay, or delivering the package without any updates in the tracking system. Actual delivery time depends on various factors, such as proximity of your location to the mail carrier's processing facility, volume of shipments, weather and more. Also, it may take longer if items are ordered to ******, ******, etc.. Therefore, given the 4-day delay that occurred, our representative issued a shipping cost compensation to your account on 06/17/2022 accordingly. Please also kindly note that we provide return labels for all our rental items, however, that does not apply to purchase returns. You can return the item purchased with us if it doesnt meet your needs, but this particular return is considered a discretionary one, and we usually do not provide the return shipping labels in such cases, therefore. The first time you reached out to us was on 05/30/2022, requesting to cancel the order, our representative provided you with the return instructions in case the item was no longer needed since it could no longer be cancelled. As per our policy, which all our customers agree to be bound by, we have a 21 days return policy after the delivery of the order. Therefore, once your item was returned to us, a refund was issued to your account accordingly with the restocking fee applied automatically. Therefore, we were about to issue a refund of the restocking fee to your account, however, were unable to due to the dispute being opened. Please be kindly advised that if the claim with the bank is opened from your side, we will not be able to issue any kind of refund as the funds are frozen for the duration of the review of the case. Thus, the resolution from the bank will be provided within the next 2-3 months. Thus, unfortunately, since we are not allowed to issue any kind of refunds during the investigation, we would kindly ask you to wait for the resolution of the case from their side. We do apprehend your concerns that the desired resolution cannot be reached as fast as it should be since we indeed must follow the rules and regulations imposed by the system.Once again, we are grateful that you brought this matter to our attention. I returned a book that I rented, it may have taken longer to arrive due to it being the holiday weekend (the deadline to ship the book back was 7/5/22.) They charged me $15 for an extension and have the WORST **************** ever. No one answers the phone, no one chats back on the website and no one can reply to an email. I just want my refund of $15 back on my card because I do not need the extension on the textbook and it is no longer in my hands. It appears that the rental return deadline for your order was on 07/05/2022, and before or on this date the book was supposed to be returned back to us. However, the upload of the tracking updates for the return tracking (*******************************************************************************1) was provided by the mail carrier with a certain delay, thus, the charge was applied by our system automatically even though the item was shipped by you on time. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Therefore, once you contacted us, in order to make up for the inconvenience caused, we were happy to assist you by issuing a refund for the extension charge once the item was returned back to our processing facility on 07/12/2022. We do understand the concerns regarding our delayed reply. SCAMMERS. I sent them my textbook for buy back on 6/12/2022. Their website says you will get paid in 4 business days. Today is 6/30/2022 and they finally email me about payment but now they are quoting me 0 dollars for my textbook showing a ripped out page when all my pages were intact when the book was shipped out. Their customer service is terrible. I called them many times to find out what was going on with my buyback and when I finally got on the phone with someone the person answered and you can hear laughing in the background then they hung up. I should have read the reviews on this "company" before sending them my textbook. Now these scammers want to charge me $9 to get my textbook back when they messed my book up. I have read plenty of reviews on these scammers claiming the book was damaged but the customers said it was in perfect condition when they sent it to them. I recommend everyone to stay away from this "company" if you don't want to get robbed of your textbooks. I should have known something was fishy about this "company" when they wont allow you to talk to the manager. STAY AWAY.Booksrun.com Inc.

Such regulations are presented in our acceptance criteria as well as Buyback Condition Guide and state that the quote of the items that have liquid stains, excessive markings, wrinkled or torn pages and binding etc. may be adjusted or such items may not be eligible for buyback at all. Unfortunately, we also do not have any opportunity to check and know for sure what happened with the book in the process of shipping, however, in your case, the item was delivered exhibiting the signs of heavy wear. Our processing department carefully inspects all items received and uploads images of the damaged items confirming their condition. Your buyback order was processed in accordance with the existing Terms & Conditions, which implies that books with a condition that does not correspond to the one initially stated, get their quotes adjusted. According to our Terms & Conditions, items with heavy wear in the order may have their quote adjusted or be not eligible for buyback at all. Thus, your order was placed "On Hold" for 7 days so that you could either accept the quotes or decline them and have the items shipped back to your address. The notifications regarding the condition of the books received and the opened disputes were sent to your email address. Given the fact that we do understand your frustration with our services, in order to make up for the inconvenience caused and change the impression you might have about our company, the return of the item in question was offered to you free of charge, and therefore, it was successfully shipped back on 07/08/2022 upon your request which is right within 24 business hours after the return was initiated.
