      I joined December 8 2023. I signed up for Fitness Singles to get matched to my profile, which included people in my own area, same ethnicity, same religion etc, but was very rarely getting that.
      I was mostly matched to people the total opposite of my profile. Twice I emailed them about this and they said I needed to fill out my profile which I had from the beginning, but they weren't sending me matches for that. They ignored my request and just said we don't refund, but I never saw a no refund policy, but regardless of that, I paid to get something they were not honoring on my end. They never tried to remedy and basically ignored my request to give me what I paid for.

      I joined Fitness-Singles in mid-January 2024. I set up my profile and started to contact and be contacted by other members. In mid-February without any warning or notice, I was blocked access to the site and sent an email that stated there was a security breach. Though I tried every day for a week or so to get back onto the site I was denied access. I left phone messages and emailed customer service and never received a reply. I still haven’t heard why my profile was removed, my access was denied and no answer to any of my questions. I paid for three months subscription ($59.99) and was only on the site for a month. I’d like my money refunded in full since I was not given an answer or clue as to why I was blocked from the site. I also want to make sure that I’m not charged for renewal - I was never able to opt out of recurring subscription.

      Please see the attached email from 2/26 that was sent to me from Fitness-Singles to inform me of a data breach.   At that point I lost access to the sight.  Customer Service may have finally allowed me to get back onto the site, only after BBB filed the complaint. This is unacceptable. I was blocked from the site and not given a reason and then not notified I could get back on for almost a month.  No phone call or email to Fitness-Singles has ever been returned.  I would still like to discuss this with a person.  I would still like a refund for the two months that I paid for and have not used (March and April) because I can't be sure this won't happen again.  Thank you for your consideration of this issue.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.   I’m confused by the response.  The owner/operator doesn’t clarify the details. The wording of the reply says to go ahead and continue with the rest of the subscription.  On the other hand, it says that I will receive a full refund. Does this mean I can use the site on a complimentary basis until the end of the original subscription and not be charged?  Is it possible to contact the owner for clarification?

      On 2/23/2024 I signed up for a 3 month membership for fitness-singles.com. I paid $59.99.
      I left the auto-renewal option on after paying, because I wanted to try it for at least 1 – 2 weeks before deciding whether to turn it off or not.

      A few days after the subscription, I tried logging on to the website, and it would not accept my password (I was typing my correct password). I then chose the ‘forgot my password’ option, and typed in my email address. I never received an email from them, that would allow me to change my password.
      I tried this process several times.
      I tried contacting their customer support twice, by email. They do not have a Customer Service phone number that we can contact.
      I contacted them a few days ago, and then again yesterday ( 3/2/2024). I never received an email back from Customer Service, addressing my concern.

      I am not able to log on to the website, to access the service for which I paid for.
      I am not able to log on to the website, for which I paid access to, to change my auto-renewal to ‘OFF’.

      As a fun fact: I searched online, and found instances of other people that have had the same issue with Fitness-singles. Com – they would sign up for a membership, then they would not be able to access the website.


      Due to all of the above, I ASK THE FOLLOWING OF FITNESS-SINGLES.COM:

      - A full reimbursement, in the amount of $59.99, for the amount that I paid for a 3 month subscription. I will also file a transaction dispute with my credit card company.

      - For my auto-renewal (associated with my account) to be changed to OFF. I do not wish to ever auto-renew my subscription for fitness-singles.com.


      - For my account information and my account itself to be deleted from the fitness-singles.com website – including pictures, profile information, and all other information that I have inputted myself.

Regarding your paid subscription, when you canceled on 3/4, you were presented with two options. One option immediately closes the account, while the other allows you to utilize the remaining time purchased. You chose the option to terminate immediately and this is why your password stopped working. Our account representative offered to reinstate the account for you but you indicated that you wished it to remain closed. As you haven't been able to fully utilize the paid subscription, we can refund the charge to your financial institution and remove your profile from the website.

      Fitness Singles made an unauthorized charge of $111.35 Can. against my credit card onFebruary 14th 2024.
      I had previously taken out a subscription for 6 months prior to this and had paid by credit card when taking out the subscription but I did not wish to renew it. I found when I went to the website to cancel that I had already been charged for another 6 months that I had not authorized.
      This company has no number of r customers service and an email I sent requesting an opportunity to discuss the matter came back as a no reply. I would appreciate it if a representative often company could please contact me.

      I joined their website hoping to find a new female friend. I was able to meet numerous women as a free member to their website. Once I paid my 3 month membership, I was immediately terminated and not offered a refund for the money i invested. I should also be paid for all the time i wasted on their website. This website is a complete scam and should be closed down for their immoral actions!

      I joined this site for free and was asked to pay a subscription on 12/07/23 to respond to other members who contacted me. The company took the payment from my account. They have not given me access to the site since I paid. I cannot contact anyone for a response. I sent two requests to them through their contact procedure. I have paid for something I did not receive and after searching the web I see it has happened to others.

      I signed up for a paid subscription based solely on the site’s claim that I could keep my pictures private and only share photos with other members that I choose. The only way to access this feature is to sign up for the paid subscription, so I couldn’t verify the feature until I had already paid. After spending $59.99 on a subscription I attempted to upload and share a few photos with another member only to find out the site only allows you to keep your photo private or public, and you can’t in fact share with only those members you choose. I would never have signed up if I knew this feature wasn’t available, as I want to keep my identity private because I live in a small community and don’t want my photos out there for public view. I attempted to reach out to get instructions/clarity on the matter over the course of a week via email twice and through customer service phone call twice, where I left a long detailed message. Even though the website says they will respond within 24 hours to customer service inquiries I am yet to receive a reply, either by email or phone. I have hidden my account but not deleted it while I wait for this to resolve. I would like a refund of my six month subscription since the only feature that made me sign up is not available.

In regards to your question there are two ways to hide your photos.  One way is to make each individual photo private. The 2nd way is to make your entire profile "hidden". With a hidden profile only members that you contact will be able to view your profile and photos. Unfortunately there is no other way to share a private photo between members at this time. You can continue using the service or we are happy to refund your purchase and revert your profile back to free member status. Please let us know what you want to do.  Thank you, Chris

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I do not require a refund at this time. I will try to keep my profile hidden and see if that works. I don’t understand how you didn’t get any of my messages however. I sent emails to customer service on October 16 and 18, and left a voicemail on October 19. And btw, I called during business hours on a Friday and a Monday, and both times I got the same voicemail message saying your offices were closed. Again, during business hours. Your team needs to be much better in the customer service area, and not wait until the matter ends up in BBB to take the complaint seriously.

      On Aug. 27, 2023 I joined the dating site Fitness Singles in the hopes to find a companion. However its been extremely disappointing as almost a month has passed and I only had a handful of contacts. On Sept. 25 I decided that its a total waste of time and money, so I called their office but could not reach anyone, and was directed to send an email, which I did, requesting my account to be closed and the money I paid ($99.99) refunded to my credit card. Later that day I received an email saying my subscription is non-refundable and they refuse to close my account and my profile is still live as of the writing of this letter (9/27/23 @ 10.50 pm). Again, all I am asking for, is for my account to be closed and deleted and $99.99 to be refunded to my credit card.

      I have cancelled my subscription and they still keep billing me. I even disputed the charge with my debit card and got it reversed but then they charged me again. They are a very deceptive company and they do everything they can to keep billing.

      Joined Fitness Singles about 19 days ago and becoming increasingly suspicious by the day. The ONLY man who we communicated somewhat became so controlling, stopped speaking to him before we ever met and he kept calling/texting me so blocked him on both of my cell phones, for some reason had to delete/block him TWICE on fitnesssingles website which freaked me out. There's another odd thing I initially received tons of messages you can't view until you pay, obviously a teaser, but just like ********* complaints said, after I paid there was only a fraction of them who contacted me. The rest seemed empty accounts w/no activity, people who never paid and/or quit...who knows for sure. I wonder how long they keep the empty accounts, anyway Tumbleweeds & crickets. So after I left a comment in my Profile/Bio called "In my own words"...mentioned my dissatisfaction and right after that received messages from (2) good looking guys my age who I'd looked at previously, each seemed pretty enthusiastic so I responded and poof! They disappeared which didn't seem logical & made me recall many reviews that FitnessSingles seems to be using shill/fake messages to keep ppl interested. never had this occur on past dating sites so began to put it together maybe was true. One remaining issue - am in Los Angeles so you'd think there'd be many guys since my filter isn't demanding, am attractive...but the majority locations mostly 75 to hundreds of miles away and that's never happened before. Hoping for a refund and that SFitness won't keep my images for another zombie account.

      Thank you for your inquiry. We will try our best to address your concerns but since we are no longer able to view your profile some items will be difficult to address. When first joining the website and creating a profile you will receive a higher volume of messages as your profile is being viewed by all of the EXISTING matches in your area upon joining. After those matches run out, any new matches will be based on new members joining the website in your area. This is the same for all dating websites. Also, many members will use the teaser messages to gauge interest but then wait to subscribe until after they have received enough interest to warrant a purchase. WE DO NOT under any circumstances create fake profiles or zombie accounts to lure people into becoming paying members. We have run the business for 20 years using very high ethical standards or we wouldn't be in business today.

      Dating is a complex dynamic and yes many members will make contact and change their mind for a variety reasons that are not related to you or our business. We have no control over that. Furthermore, you mentioned some negative online reviews which are very small in number compared to the three million members that have joined since 2003. We try our best to make everyone happy but it can be challenging due to the emotional nature of the dating process. 

      We are happy to provide a full refund due to your dissatisfaction with the service. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for the credit to appear.
