      This complaint is very similar to others I've read. They allow customer profiles to remain on their website after customers no longer use the website. I saw a profile where they said In My Own Words that their age was 10 years younger than what their profile said, which means that profile has not been on the site for 10 years, but the person has not. Of the 1400 profiles I looked at 95% were a Last Visit of over 3 weeks. This is very misleading as others have found out, which is why 95% of the emails I sent out never get read, let alone replied to, because these people no longer use this website. I see why they have a no refund policy because most people would want a refund after they realize how false most of the profiles are. How you give this business an A+ is confusing to me.

      Thank you for contacting Fitness Singles through the BBB.  We have looked into your account and it appears you are using the paid features of the subscription as of 4/26/2023. Do you still want us to close the account and issue a refund? With regards to your comments we want you to know that Fitness Singles removes profiles that are no longer using the website. What we find is that many users who stop using the service will resume using the service when a new message is received. Due to this reason so we try to keep these profiles visible for a set amount of time after they stop returning to the website. If you would like us to look into the the profile where the age doesn't match we would be happy to do so. 

      Fitness Singles has been online since 2003 and we run the business with very high ethical standards. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and is why we have been successful in creating dates and marriages for the past 20 years!

      Better Business Bureau:
      I accept their closing my account and giving me a refund but object to their explanation that appears to be a contradiction.  They say "Fitness Singles removes profiles that are no longer using the website. What we find is that many users who stop using the service will resume using the service when a new message is received. Due to this reason so we try to keep these profiles visible for a set amount of time after they stop returning to the website."

      So, they really don't "remove profiles that are no longer using the website".  They "keep these profiles visible for a set amount of time after they stop returning to the website."  I think their "set amount of time after they stop returning to the website" is years.

      I paid for a month and recently canceled my membership,I still had more days until my membership end and now I can't log into my account, I want a full refund because I still had days to use the site

      Thank you for contacting Fitness Singles through the BBB. We researched your claim and it looks like the account was closed due to derogatory comments that were made to our support staff. We cannot issue a refund for the unused time on the paid subscription but in good faith we can set you up for a free one month paid subscription.  If our offer is accepted please refrain from these types of comments in the future.

      First, I joined for free to find a person to snowboard/ski with. After receiving a few messages that I could not see I was asked to pay to see those bate like "interest showing" messages. In a lot of cases members were free subscribers that I could not get responses from or only messages "I am interested...lets chat".
      Additionally, my profile was reviewed mostly by men 15, 20, 30 and even 40 (!) years older then me. I blocked their profiles as I did not feel comfortable with that type majority of viewers. Soon after that I learned that I was not able to access my profile or submit a contact form on the website from 2 devices to address the issue to this company. I had no problem searching any other websites online on those devices. After deleting cookies and cashe, and after some additional research I learned that there is a possibility that a site is blocking my devices' IP addresses, and it was recommended to get VPN service that changes the IP address of a device and try it. I did that and I was able to access my profile immediately again and to contact the company about the issue. I explained the issues and asked for a refund. The company refused and recommended me to remove cookies/cashe or contact the manufacturer of the devices to solve the problem (I have emails on file to prove) and denying blocking my IP addresses.
      The dispute with credit card company was opened to get the money back. As I was waiting for the outcome, Fitness-singles.com decided to cancel the paid membership (email on file) and sent back dated message incorrectly claiming that they are processing my request to cancel. No words about a refund.
      I want to claim this service as a fraud, company's unethical conduct and breach of contract due to the issues described above. I would like to get a full refund of $99.99.

It is possible that your IP address was being reported to us incorrectly by your ISP and may have resulted in your inability to access the website. We do block IP addresses from locations known to be associated with profiles that are fake or have spam characteristics.  Your case is unique in that we have thousands of members logging in each day without difficulty. That being said, you should not have to pay for a service that could not be used. Our support staff may have been unable to troubleshoot the issue correctly.   We will issue a refund for the entire amount of the paid subscription.   Thank you, Chris

      For months they kept saying my name is on my profile name and violates their policy. I kept telling them it’s not.

      They kept fraudulently telling me my name is in my profile name. For months i was trying to interact and basically it was pointless.

      That was fraud.

      So I guess after months of lying to me and not making my account active, I have wasted months of my time. Please give me 6 months free subscription.

      Fitnesssingles dating site offers a free membership and used a bate-trick to send me "interest email massages" from 10 males on this site, then I signed up to read their messages. However, 90% of members are free subscribers that I could not get responses back from them. After signed up as a paid member, I have only received several messages, and I want to claim this service as a fraud because its service intended to have non-paid members signed up by sending out bunch of fake messages from non-members. I would like to ger a full refund of $60.

What you are suggesting is completely false and without merit. Any messages that you receive on the website are generated by other members that have taken an interest in your profile.  It is normal for messages to slow down after joining since your profile has already been exposed to all of the existing members. As new members join more messages should follow. As of today we see that you are still logging in and using the website. If you wish to have a refund we are happy to provide one for you. Please let us know what you would like to do.
