      Paid a lump sum to complete my program in February 2024. Since that time I have made over 7 calls to Atlas Debt Relief to get the final creditor payment processed, but no one has been able to proceed with moving this forward. I’ve now incurred additional fees for two additional months of this not being finalized, spent hours on hold, got disconnected today after waiting on hold for an agent and with an agent for over an hour, and still nothing has been accomplished.

      I entered an agreement with this company and I was told that if I cancelled the program I would get my money back within 3 days. It has been 5 weeks as of 4/25/24. Their reasoning for taking so long is because that the previous person did not submit the proper paperwork, this has happened twice already. The last time I was able to speak to them they told me it would take 2 weeks to receive my money. However I spoke to them today 4/25/24 and they told me it would take an additional 7 days to hopefully have my money back. This is the third time they delay returning my money. I believe they are lying and refuse to give me back my money.

      BBB received the following response from the customer on behalf of the business: After filing a complaint I received almost an immediate response from them (something that they hadn't done until I filed the complain) explaining that they were going to issue the refund within 7 days, as opposed to the 30 days they had mentioned initially. I received the check yesterday on the 7th day. Clearly they only issued the refund as quick only to avoid any further investigation from BBB.

      I signed up help with my debts. My transactions include total $1410.32. Atlas has has not returned my phone calls or emails. I have tried to cancel my account with them with no success because they are not answering the customer service line. I have been attempting to contact them for 2 weeks with no success. Each email is replied to with an auto-generated email that says I will be contacted in 5-7 business days but I have not received any response. They also say that that they cannot discuss any of this by email.

      I completed my program in mid-February 2024. All debts and associated fees were paid. On February 20, 2024 I requested to close my ****** ******** account and get back MY remaining funds. They proceeded to send a FEE to Atlas Debt Relief for $372.25 on February 26, 2024, but the fee is not tied to a service or a debt. They just took my money.

      I asked ****** ******** to refund the $372.25, but they said I had to go to Atlas, it was not in their control.

      I have tried contacting Atlas via email and phone but I am not getting a response. So I am filing a complaint here and with the FTC.

      I signed up with them to consolidate my credit. I started making payments in November of 2023. From then $518.00 has been withdrawn from my account. I tried to follow up today to see the status of my settlement. All the numbers from their website and emails are invalid. This number ###-###-#### plays the same song over and over, no one answers. I tried to modify my bank account number on their website and you just can't. There's no way of canceling or deleting your account or payment. This is a scam. Please stop them from getting anyone else.

      as of January 2024 I've been trying to close my account. I've called 01/09/2024,01/23/24, 01/24/2024, 01/25/2024, 01/29/2024, 01/30/2024, 02/07/2024, 02/16/2024, and 03/04/2024. They always tell me the last agent didn't submit the paperwork correctly or something else needs to be signed. All this program will do is ruin your credit. You're better off just paying your debt down on your own. It is a very time-consuming process to try to close out your account and get your money back. Expect to be on hold 30-60 minutes to try and get any help, and their online chat support is no longer in service it just says an agent is not available all day.

      The payments I have made so far were on 12/27: $50, 1/19: 764.52 and 2/20: $814.52

      They told me that they can help me with my debt and to stop making payments on my credits cards and they will make settlements with my credit cards as I make payments to them. My credit score has dropped significantly and I am concerned so I called and now no one is responding. I called their line and no one ever picks up, the options they offer automatically disconnect you, I emailed their customer service email and their response is always the same saying that they cannot assist you and I need to call the customer service line. I had a financial consultant who helped me in the beginning and he told me I can call him at anytime. Now his phone number is not a working number.

      They provide a portal for you to long in but they do not provide statements of payments made. Since I am concerned I wanted to take my bank info off of there so I cannot be charged anymore but it will not allow me to delete my bank information! Please help me. I do not want to lose my money and make my debt situation worse.

      Contract with Atlas Debt Relief on 10/13/23. On 12/4/23 I requested termination of contract as detailed in contract. Received proposed settlement on 12/5/23. I decline and requested termination again. Received email on 12/6/23 stating that I needed to send email referencing order#. I did so. On 1/18/24 ****** ******** acct still open, and holding my money. I sent certified letter including the 3 emails requesting termination of contract. As of 2/10/24, that letter was in Buffalo NY Distribution Facility, never being Out For Delivery. On 1/29/24, I faxed these emails requesting termination. On 2/7/24, I spoke with Atlas Debt rep “Shekeria”. Said she would close acct and send my balance to me. She supposedly recorded me saying I wanted termination of contract. On 2/22/24, ****** ******** acct still active. Spoke with Atlas Debt rep “Aldriana”. Said she would close acct and send my balance to me. On that same day, another $10.95 fee was deducted. I have emailed 3 Termination requests, mailed certified requests, faxed three 12/4, 12/5, 12/6/23 requests, and talked to 2 Atlas Debt representatives. If this was handled correctly, I should receive $331.39, which is the balance in 12/23, after my 3 email requests. I would like my balance.

      After carefully reviewing my other 13 accounts, I found that Atlas debt relief/Versara/Global lending paid a total of $16,609.00 to my debtors, see attachment. Since November 25, 2022, I have paid a total of $27,096.81 to Atlas/Versara/Global lending, and I still owe Atlas/Versara/Global lending $18,000, see attachment. Because of my previous complaint to the BBB Atlas/Versara/Global lending, Atlas debt relief/Versara/Global lending made a cash deposit of $12,318 and just $40 for interest, to my account. Before Atlas/Versara/Global lending’s cash adjustment, I was paying $856 a month and I’m still paying the same amount now. My payment due date is the third of each month, if the third fell on a Sunday I received a $40 late fee on the first. This happened to me twice because they told me that I had to have an auto-draft. After researching I found that not to be true. After reaching out to them, they told me that they found it best for their customers to put them on auto-draft. I explained that I was capable of paying myself so it was removed only for them to say that you cannot make online payments on their online portal, and you have to call three days before the payment Has to be made. Since then, I’ve received three more additional 1099Cs totaling $25,038.95 to file with the IRS. I’m on a fixed income being a $100% disabled veteran. Two of my debtors are waiting for additional payments and my account with Atlas is closed. I have 120 days of late payments for each of my accounts even though I sent Atlas debt relief each late notice, as directed. See attachment.

      Hired Atlas Debt Relief to settle me Debts, they stopped making payments last July, but continued to take payments from me, I am now being sued by my creditors.
