We received credit card cleaners from GTS after "Randy" called and spoke with our service manager acting as if they were providers with our credit card company. "Randy" said the cleaners were on back order and they now have a supply to send us. We did not order these or authorize an order from GTS for these items. We are sending them back and will not be paying the $288.50 invoice for the supposed "free" cleaners. Interesting how much shipping/handling cost $18.50 when it was mailed via USPS for $7.38. There are a lot of "companies" that call businesses just to get a name of an employee, ship an item to the employee, then send an invoice for payment to accounting, hoping one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. We will not be paying this invoice, we expect an adjustment to $0.00 amount owed, and want no further communications from GTS Supplies and/or it's affiliates and/or DBAs.

    Hello,

All accusations are false and are created to dodge payment of ordered product at quoted prices .

Anyways if the customer does not want the product then we are not going to force them to pay. They can return the product and upon receipt the invoice will automatically be credited to zero.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
We have returned the items via USPS Certified Mail and they have neglected to retrieve the product from the carrier, see attachment.  If they are not willing to do their part to recover the product, then why should we be liable for their neglect.  We will not be paying this invoice whether they retrieve from USPS or not. It is their responsibility to accept or pickup the package from carrier.

Our previous management fell for this scam and paid a bill in 2024, so after receiving another bill in 2025 we called to complain about the fact that we did not need 20 cleaning cards when we only own 2 machines, and requested to return them for a credit, since we do not see the point in paying nearly $400 for such needless items. The person on the phone was rude, not helpful, and insisted they could not be returned. This so called business is a joke.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/15/2025

    Hello,

If you do not need anymore product is fine so you wont get anymore electronic cleaners but you have to pay for what was already shipped and received by your service manager who wanted the product and who claimed that he was authorized to purchase and will issue purchase order number upon receipt of product. There is no return on the product so price is clearly quoted and a purchase order is demanded but if the purchaser claims that he is a manager and is authorized to purchase and will issue purchase order number upon receipt then we cant insist on it.

Anyways once the final invoice is paid the file and order will be closed and you wont get new product until reordered with a purchase order number. Thank uou for your cooperation.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Every time we called the business we had to leave a message. When we would finally get a call back, a day or more later, a representative with a foreign accent was rude and un-accomodating. When I insisted he needed to speak to our service manager about the order, he refused and insisted I tell our manager what the rep told me, which was not the point. My service manager had left him a message weeks prior, and when the rep returned his call, he was rude because the svc mgr was unavailable at the time. The rep's accent, lack of customer service, and refusal to accept a return for credit, gives every reason that this whole thing is a scam. Who really needs cleaning cards for credit card machines? Why would any business want a package of 20 cleaning cards for ~$400 when the business only owns 2 machines? Why would they want 40 in under 6 months? Just because someone here fell for it in the past, does not constitute the fact that they've been uncooperative with our return request now. I can't believe they are getting away with it. Terrible, unethical business practices...

Just like all the other complaints a Randy from GTS Supplies contacted me and they made it seem like they were affiliated with our credit card terminals company and asked if credit card machines were operating ok and they would be sending out some credit card terminal cleaners that were back ordered. I was sent a bill and product from GTS supplies for card reader cleaners. We did not approve this to be sent to us and did not approve the purchase of $287.50. These cleaners will be sent back to GTS with a copy of this BBB case. Try to call get voicemail we will not be paying this invoice. Would like business to stop sending the card reader cleaners every month and a follow on invoice.

Same song and dance that this B.S. company is pulling with many other dealers. Randy calls and tells us that they are with our credit card reader company and tells us that we were not sent cleaners due to a backorder shortage and they would be sending us 15 free cleaner packs to make sure our machine stays clean. That was January 27th now as of March 6th we get an invoice in the mail for $287.50 for the cleaners. They lied and I can tell they do the same thing will many other people. They false advertise and try to steal money from companies that don't know better. I will not be paying this invoice as I did in no way approve a product for a cost because he told me that they were supposed to be included with the machine when we leased it from our company. Attached is the bullsh*t bill that they sent us and we will not be paying. IF YOU EVER GET A CALL FROM THESE SCAMMERS JUST HANG UP!

I want everyone to know about the shady dealings with this company. Easy for them to say that I am trying to dodge a payment, but there's 10 or more other people that have gone through the same things that I went through with this "Randy" guy. The **** you guys are trying to pull is absolutely ridiculous and I can't wait for you to get your karma. Call us again and I will file criminal charges.

I started writing out a long explanation of my issue but there appear to be plenty of the same complaints out there already so I'll just confirm that these are all true. I called and left a voicemail 2 days ago for the company GTS Supplies listed on the unwarranted invoice that was sent. Today I received a call back from a guy saying this is what we agreed to pay and that I was lying to get out of a bill. If you receive the card reader cleaning cards, throw them in the trash along with the invoice and don't waste your time trying to have any sort of conversation with them on the phone to resolve. The guy just continued to talk over me the whole time and eventually hung up. Oh and the call came from a blocked number so yeah. Its a scam that unfortunately probably works for them more often than not. A box of 30 of these from the same manufacturer cost $50 online. They are trying to sneak you 15 individual cards for $287.00!
This is a scam people just be aware.
Cue the defensive response from the business lol.

This company called in and asked for the service manager. They claimed to be sending us "cleaning cards" for our credit card machines. They said that there would be no charge and they were on back order when they first sent out our machines. Upon receiving the invoice I immediately realized something was off. When you call into their phone number you will always be directed to a voicemail. When they call you back it is always from an anonymous number. They do not have a website and no "product" was ever received.

A person named Randy called and said they were to supply us credit card machine cleaners for no charge on behalf of our credit card merchant account. We then received a bill for the cleaners for $287.50. When we called Randy, he said that the first one was free but then there is a charge for additional shipments. He never said any of this on the original call and we told him to stop sending them to us.

We then received a second bill for another shipment. Randy lied and charged us for the first shipment and an additional shipment. We will not pay these bills as they were sent to us under false and misleading statements and this is fraud. GTS needs to stop sending these and credit any amount owed as we will not pay.
