      Horrible customer service! You can not cancel service on web site, so you have to call, after being on hold for 20 minutes, the rep Lisa said I couldn't cancel for my step mother who passed away. She was insisting on they needed paper showing someone in charge of her estate, there is no such paperwork. I finally had to hang up and call back later and that rep canceled it within 5 minutes. Should not be that hard to cancel a service after someone has passed away. Very sad and that is why I would never go through County Waste.

      This is got to be the worst waste company ever, I don’t know what goes on with this company, but it is not fair to the customers that half the time don’t get their garbage picked up, or they don’t pick up all of it, or they don’t show up at all, I would not recommend these people at all. They are very unreliable. They have proven it over and over again.

      For 3 months I paid for garbage collection March was the last month they picked up garbage April/May no collection,& still charged me for service while no garbage was collected, over priced, unreliable,& totally unprofessional, NEVER again worse garbage collection company yet

      This business has continuously raised our prices. The most recent went up $20 more to $145.00 without warning. The rep claimed the new bill WAS our warning. I had called them prior, but got the usual rising costs excuse. After finding a more reasonably priced company, I called to cancel service. That's when they decided that they could help me. I cancelled regardless as I don't want to do business with a company that works like that. Now I find out one neighbor, with the same size cans, pays $85 and another pays $108. FOR THE SAME SIZE CANS AND SAME SERVICE. They are deliberately overpricing to those dumb enough to pay it. With all that is going on in this world, we don't need businesses like this. Where is the oversight for things like this? I'm am absolutely disgusted that businesses are continuously allowed to overcharge customers without any repercussions.
      I’d like to add that after finally speaking with a “supervisor,” she told me she wouldn’t discuss other people’s accounts. I didn’t ask her to, just asked why such fluctuation between customers. She then assured me that if I write a review or file a complaint, they would just say they have no record of speaking with me and it would be taken down (I purposely did not give her my work number). Quality customer service AND ripping people off. Do yourself a favor and find a different company.

      Driver didn't like that there was items sticking up out of my can, said it was prohibited material. I only found out about the reason for no pickup after my second call for no service after 5 days and was also told how sorry they were that the first person I talked to didn't tell me the reason and that there wouldn't be any pickup cause the driver didn't like my garbage.
      I pay for my garbage to be taken away because I can't take it to the dump myself. I seem to pay for driver's to choose to do a job they're paid to do. I pay for rescheduled pickups because of a snowflake that landed on the ground.
      I should have gone with Superior for $33 a month but thought it would be okay when this company price matched. Getting what I paid for I guess... lower price, lower level service.
      I'm locked in a two year contract but if you can go with another company, do it.

      For the past two years, I have been spending countless hours on the phone with their customer service representatives, using their app that they direct you to use and again calling back in for failed pick ups. My trash has been messed for the past six week‘s now and I was called two weeks ago to be told that my service will be discontinued due to where I live. They were supposed to arrive on Friday to pick up whatever trash I had as well as their cans. The Friday and question came and guess what no trash pick up so I called back again and get told that they didn’t have a truck to come up my street. I inquired as to where my phone call was letting me know this I was told that they would come today, Friday to pick up my trash and to take their cans as they would like to just continue servicing my house again due to lack of a driver to come to my home, well the driver did come today he only took his two cans and left a mess in my driveway with the rest of the trash that hasn’t been picked up in the past six weeks that I paid for a service. I called today and get a gentleman on the phone asking why the rest of my trash was not picked up as well and he tells me that no one will be coming back as my service is no longer active , who does business like this I will be contacting my lawyer.

      Horrible company. Stopped picking up my cans and when I called they said I called and canceled a month ago. I never canceled and they’ve been picking it up until today. Had 1 year of free service at point because service was so horrible. I recommend any other trash service.

      The worst company. Now our third “cancelled” pick up 2 days before a storm and then no follow up on when they will pick up. No one cares there. I’ve tried to speak w a manager several times and no response EVER. I just called at 445, waited 10 minutes and then was purposely hung up on so it would be after 5 and no call back is possible. Just mean individuals who seemingly hate their customers that I wouldnt trust with even my garbage. Also I’ve heard they overcharge when cancelling so tread lightly. The actually worst rude people from phones on up.

      They do not pick up your trash regularly. Never available when you call. Will give you excuses such as “the driver got behind”, “weather”, “your route will be completed today” every time you call. They are one of the most unreliable trash collection services I’ve ever used. I will be switching to a local guy who actually checks to see if you have trash that need to be picked up if you forget to put it out.

      I am immediately canceling service since it appears all trash and recycling pickups at my home have been stopped by County Waste. They have done nothing but increase charges and reduced service. Events leading to my decision to cancel:
      As of January 1, 2023, County Waste adjusted my rate totaling more than 43% from my rate on January 1, 2022. I called on 1/9/2023 and requested the increase be in keeping with the inflation rate (8%), but this request fell on deaf ears.
      What appears to be retaliation for my objection to the abusive rate hike:
      - There was no pickup on the following pick up date January 16, 2023.
      - There was no pickup on January 24, 2023 (day scheduled by CC due to inclement weather), or any other day of this week (1/23 – 1/28/2023).
      In good faith I made my payment for the month of January on Jan 18, 2022, which had inlcuded an 8% increase over January 1,2022 rate. I can only conclude that there is no sign that County Waste will continue to serve my needs or accept my offer to move forward with a reasonable increase.
      I requested a refund, since I am entitled to 5 pickups for the month of January. So far 2 pickups have been made. Therefore, I expect a credit of 3/5 of my rate paid.
      Note: I have left messages re: lack of service and to cancel my service, there has been no response.
