      I tested positive for COVID-19 the day before my flight with Lufthansa. I immediately notified them and, as instructed, did not travel. However, after contacting *******, the company I booked through, to request a refund, I was told Lufthansa declined it. This is incredibly frustrating! ******* regulations usually consider medical emergencies like COVID a reason for a refund. It's disappointing that Lufthansa isn't understanding and is making customers pay for flights they can't use due to illness.

      Travel date: Tuesday Jul 9th, 2024. Your experience seems to have been exceptionally frustrating. Heres a summary of the issues that I faced: 1. **Connection Issues**: Difficulties with luggage and extended wait times at *****************, despite paying extra for baggage. 2. **Document Verification Problems**: At *************, your childrens U.S. passports faced verification issues, causing a delay of about three hours, including being moved to a different ticket counter. 3. **Repeated Document Checks**: After resolving the boarding pass issue, you encountered repeated passport and boarding pass checks at the gate, causing further inconvenience. 4. **Flight Changes and Delays**: A long wait at ***************** due to rebooking on Contour Airlines, with an added 5-hour layover and limited food options. 5. **Tight Connection**: Your connection time from *********** to ******* was too short, leading to a rebooking for the next day. 6. **Late Hotel Vouchers**: Vouchers for hotel accommodations were received too late, after you had already decided to drive to Houston ourselves. 7. **Extended Travel Time**: The journey took significantly longer than expected, impacting your ability to work on July 11th. This combination of issues, from documentation problems and repeated checks to inconvenient rebooking and delays, must have been very stressful, especially while traveling with young children. After all of this I am consider Lufthansa's customer service should provide detailed feedback and compensation for the inconvenience of my travel experienced.

      I understand airlines have been experiencing some setbacks but they owe me a few refunds and reimbursements but they have not answered back to my requests.

      Fraudulent Activity: We paid extra to reserve preferred seats on our flight to ******, trusting Lufthansa to provide the service we paid for. Although our electronic boarding passes initially reflected the correct seats, the ticket agent at the check-in counter reassigned us to middle seats that were not even near each otherwithout our knowledge or consent.When we discovered the change at the gate, the agent claimed they couldn't help and directed us to the flight attendants, who were also unable to resolve the issue. When I attempted to get a refund for the seats, the only option provided was to submit a feedback request online. I did so on July 2, 2024, receiving an email with a feedback ID **********, which stated that someone would contact us. Despite multiple follow-*** via email, phone, and customer assistance chat, we have yet to receive a proper responseonly vague assurances that a "team member" will get back to us.At this point, this experience feels like outright theft. This is a matter of getting a refund for a service that was never provided, it shouldn't take a month to resolve this. As loyal customers of ********************** for over 15 years, we are extremely disappointed by this fraudulent behavior and the lack of accountability. I strongly caution anyone considering paying extra for seat reservations with Lufthansa to reconsiderthis airline clearly does not honor its commitments or value its customers.

      My honest opinion on Lufthansa is that, their operation is a fraud, I just booked a flight to ****** and paid $200 extra to have as insurance to cancel the flight and get refunded.I called them today and their customer service is horrible, they can not refund the ticket, very disappointed for paying $1200

      I bought two round trips tickets from ******** to ********. Lufthansa cancelled our return flights without any reason and I had to pay for return tickets that were almost same amount from ******** to *** with another airline after Lufthansa was no help. I have been trying to contact with them: I called New *********** and ******** office; they are saying that they cant help me but that I can try to file feedback from Lufthansa app which I did 3 times but have gotten no response. The customer service has been incredibly awful with no assistance whatsoever. I have gotten no help. My trip was cancelled without my approval, with small amount refund and then no help in order to rebook or get any explanation or assistance. Terrible customer service.

      After repeated attempts of resolving a baggage claim with Lufthansa for two weeks. I was unable to complete the their process due to technical issues with their website. After repeated attempts of telephonically communicating this problem to various customer service representatives, ********************** ultimately told me that due to "other" customers able to use the website, therefore the problem is mine. I, therefore, was unable to file a lost baggage and a Reimbursement of costs in case of baggage irregularities report with them. This is unacceptable, with so many other airline options to choose from. Lufthansa leaving me with the only option of writing this review, I will not soon forget.

      My dad was denied an accomodation for a right aisle seat he needed because of his prosthetic right leg. We called in with a week or more notice and were told that him and my mom can pay $66 per seat, per flight to be guaranteed an aisle seat (that's $400 for the 3 trips they are taking with them). My mom would have happily paid hers, but my dad was not even considered and not even a discount was offered. When asked to speak to someone else about this, ****** said "No you can speak to me", and put me on a 10 minute hold and then hung up. This has never been an issue with any other airline. It was a 3 minute online chat with United and a 2 minute phone call with Southwest in the last couple of months.

      Nonexistent customer service with luggage handling. My flight was canceled and I was not able to recieve my check-in luggage for 3 days. Not only was the Luftansa delayed luggage online portal not working, but I did not recieve any response when I would try emailing and submitting my form manually. This company was silent when I then submitted a form to reimburse the costs of me having to buy necessities while I did not have my luggage. I sent about reimbursement 6 requests, and all were lost in the Luftansa abyss.

      I was looking to change an outbound flight to a new flight a few hours later. On the website the price was advertised as a $39 per ticket fee to change. These were on full fare business class tickets.The website showed my two fares during the checkout, one for $2000 ish per ticket, and another line below it for the $39. It was confusing enough to prompt me to call the customer service line.Customer service confirmed the price difference to be the $39. I assumed I was seeing the $2000 because it was the price before the credit for the original flight would be applied, and considering that customer service confirmed the price, I went ahead and clicked "purchase."$4000 charge on the card. Confused and freaking out, I call customer service again. No help. $4000 is the price and they can't reverse the charge or put me back on the same flight that left a couple hours earlier. Incredibly frustrating. The customer service supervisor told me to fill out a complaint online.All I am looking for is to get my original flight back. The website is super confusing with the way it communicates price, seemingly so much it confuses the customer service reps too.
