These guys have not given me the correct paperwork in a timely manner. I’ve been in contact with them since November of 2024. Finally get these panels installed two weeks ago, and now they are not even concerned with the fact that I cannot use these panels until they give me the correct paperwork to submit to *****. The final payment is supposed to be at the time of interconnection, which I can’t even apply for because they haven’t given me the correct information for my application with ***** for the bi-way meter I need installed along with the panels. They also still haven’t even shown me how to use them. I’ve included screen shots of a recent conversation with Clinton J****** where they promised to get these things done in by the end of the week for me. I’ve also included a screenshot of the email I got from ***** that shows that have provided me with incorrect documents for any application I need to make with *****.Business Response

******* ******* initially contacted our office in October regarding solar panels for a property he was in the process of purchasing. Since installation requires property ownership, we informed him that we could provide a proposal but could not proceed until he officially owned the property. It took ******* two months to close on the property and an additional three weeks to convert the existing three meters into a single meter. Once ownership was confirmed, we provided him with a proposal along with the necessary electrical stamp.About a week ago, ******* reached out to us for assistance with submitting the ***** application for a bi-directional meter. We informed him that the application is his responsibility but assured him that we would assist in completing it within the week to facilitate the interconnection process. At this time, ******* has not submitted the final payment required to move forward with installation. Additionally, he recently received his first electric bill of $600, which has caused frustration. He expressed dissatisfaction with ***** due to the estimated 90-day timeline for the bi-directional meter installation and mentioned his intent to file a complaint against them.Based on our interactions, it seems ******* is primarily frustrated due to the lengthy closing process, the unexpected high electric bill, and a lack of clarity on how the interconnection process works. We will provide him with additional guidance to help clarify expectations and assist with completing the necessary steps.I will also be sharing relevant email communications and the outstanding payment invoice for reference.Let me know if any further action is needed.Customer Answer

I am still awaiting for them to finish the array, which is needed to individually monitor the panels. I need to see which parts of the tree that is blocking the garage I need to cut back to maximize the potential of these panels. I cannot do this without them finishing the array so I can see which panels are effected.Business Response

On March 19, 2025
a gentelman knocked on the door wanting to make sure I was getting the solar discount from the state. He asked to see my most resent ***** bill to see if I was getting the discount.
He then took pictures of my bill and took down my name, address, date of birth account number and email. Then he had me sign a virtual document, which I felt uncomfortable doing. As I was not allowed to read it.
I immediately called the number on the pamphlet that was given to me after I received a "contract" for the discount.
The gentleman I spoke to said he would send more documents to me about the program and money for the inconvenience when I asked to cancel.
I would like to cancel this contract as I feel uncomfortable with the situation.Business Response

On March 19th 2025 a guy named Jospeh S. Came to my door and said he was with ******** **** and he was checking to see if my bill had the 10% discount that the Solar Farms were offering to all ******** **** customers. I showed him my bill, in which he took a picture of it said that I was not getting the discount, and he would sign me up for this. He never said anything about switching my company just that it was for a discount. I come to find out through ******** **** that this is not the case. This man illegally signed my name on this document. When I seen my name was signed I called to cancel. I spoke to 2 people who assured me that the account was cancelled, and I should receive notification soon which it has been over the time limit they advised I would receive the cancellation notice. When I called for a 3rd time, they were still sticking to the discount story. This is a big scam and it completely illegal to sign someone's name without permission. I will be seeking legal counsel if I do not receive proof of cancellation.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this is still not acceptable and they are not taking action on their behalf. This person should be let go and not just suspended. What he did is illegal. I have multiple documents of how I sign my name to show proof that this is not my signature. Also the fact of the matter is i did not agree to "BUY" anything. He misinformed me of what he was doing. I never agreed to purchase anything, nor did I sign anything. This company has done this to multiple people, and what they are doing is illegal and should be reprimanded appropriately. They should not be allowed to go door to door sales if this is how they are conducting business.

On March 5, 2025, two men knocked on the door of my apartment (violently and persistently) and said they wanted to make sure I was getting the solar discount that was available for our building. The name of one of the men was Jonathan M*******. They did not say what company they were representing but made it seem like they were from *****. They asked to see my most recent ***** bill to "determine" whether I was or was not receiving the discount. I was then pressured and coerced into being registered for the discount. Because we live in a secure building, I asked if the property manager knew they were in the building, which they affirmed. After reporting the incident to the property manager, she denied this, meaning these men were criminally trespassing on private property. They took down my name, address, date of birth, e-mail, and ***** Account Number, and had me sign a virtual form. The purpose of the signature, according to them, was just to confirm that I understood the purpose of the discount. I received a letter of authorization via e-mail after the encounter, whereupon I immediately called the number listed on that document to cancel. The representative on the phone said they would cancel it and that I would receive a cancellation letter, which I never did. As it says in some of the other reviews, they did take a photo of my energy bill. It is clear that this is a fraudulent company that is conducting scams through violation of property and stealing private information. I am seeking confirmation that they will not make any changes to my ***** energy account/billing and that they will delete all information they have of me, including my ***** information.Business Response

Hi ******** ********,
This email is to confirm the cancellation of the community solar program as requested during our recent call. You mentioned confusion about the agreement and feeling misled by the sales representatives. We apologize for the lack of clarity and any inconvenience this may have caused.
No charges will be incurred as the program is free and designed to provide discounts. Please disregard any follow-up communications regarding program perks. We will monitor your account for any erroneous charges related to the community solar program and advise you to check your bill for any line items associated with ******** as well.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for your patience as we resolved the issue.
Best Regards,
[Lorena A*******Here is Summary from the Call with Kristin Rawling and Lorena Anoceto. The reason the email didn't follow up was we had automation error with Ring Central. Also this Contact was not enrolled into a Community Solar Program she just signed with Third Party Vendor we hired EMMG from Chicago, IL (PTM Submission) this is just a utility usage request so we can see what she would qualify for toward Community Solar Projects in her/his area. We will contact Kristin Rawling directly and explain the reason for the follow up email concern. She could of just signed the 3 day cancellation notice attached as well instead of phone call. There really was no need for BBB Complaint here in my opinion. The Vendor will have compliance Ticket created and spoke to about explaining the Program and Company they work for.
Customer, Christian Rawlings, called to revoke authorization given to sales representatives.
Christian expressed confusion about the agreement he signed, stating he was misled about the representation.
Sales rep acknowledged the issue and apologized for the lack of clarity during the sales process.
Christian was informed about the community solar program and its potential savings.
Sales rep assured that no charges would occur as the program is free and provides discounts.
The cancellation of the service was confirmed, and Christian was advised to disregard any follow-up communications regarding perks.
Christian thanked the sales rep for the clarification and assistance in canceling the service.

On October 22. 2024 Christian from PMT Solar came to the door to tell me I am entitled to credits on my ******** **** bill due to government funded solar farms. He represented that he was sent out by the government to make people aware of these credits as ******** **** will not do so without signing up for it as they do not have the right to do so. He was certainly convincing but when I provided my account information he now asks me to sign the “agreement” to get the credits but does not at all say anything about this being an actual contract for anything. He says the credits are good for 25 years. Upon receiving the contract via email I read that PMT will be paid for example, $90 of every $100 credited to my bill. He represented that he was simply proving awareness of this program and that I would simply get a credit. He was deceptive and I want the contract voided ASAP. I thought I was getting an entitled credit to my energy bill. At no time did he ever tell me that there would be a payment to PMT for anything. He made his visit to my house sound like it was essentially on behalf of a government program. I do not want to participate as what was “sold” to me was not what I got when I got this contract.Business Response

Two sales representatives came to my door on October 08, 2024. The first informed me that I was owed some kind of solar credit, which I have been paying via my utility bill. They asked to see a copy of my utility bill, but it seemed shady, so I made an excuse to have him leave my apartment without interacting further. Not 10 minutes later, a second (different) sales representative knocked on my door, expressing the same offer. Unfortunately, I had assumed they would keep coming until I entertained them. As a young renter, I assumed that they were sent on behalf of my utility company as they had a lamented copy of a bill from my utility bill in hand. The representative talked to me for a bit, and at the end, they quickly scrolled through a few pages of a contract without explaining or giving me time to read the document, just asking for my signature. Luckily, the contract was emailed to me, and after reading it, I realized that I did not want to participate in any part of a program offered by the company. The process for getting unsuspecting people to sign on is very scam-like, and I want nothing to do with any part of this. I am within three days of my contract termination; I have sent emails and called service numbers but have yet to receive proof of cancelation. Like many others leaving complaints, I want to ensure that my information will not stolen by this company and that I am removed from any part of this company or its partners' programsBusiness Response

Door to door salesman from the solar company, even after I explained that my son handles my business, persisted until I agreed to say yes into my phone to switch to his company. Im not good with my phone it’s too confusing, he insisted to search my phone for a password which he apparently found, further concerning me now. I called and left a message last night at the number provided explaining ( same night as order) that I’m not interested and for them to call back to confirm the transaction was cancelled in the morning. No call back. We called the number and it again said we missed there business hours. We finally got a call back, and they said they have no record of the transaction and that they would text us how to email them, no text yet.
My son feels it’s all very suspicious and the fact that there is no paperwork, reliable way to reach them makes him feel like I’m a victim of elder abuse. He also said there is a law that allows me to cancel the transaction within 3 days he believes but is frustrated there doesn’t appear to be a way to do that? I do not want their service. We filled out what we thought was a complaint with you last night but understand that this is correct process you need and are trying again. I’m hoping you can help me, if not my son said maybe law enforcement or the NYS Ag office but hoping this can be resolved simply by the company and why we are trying you first. I feel violated by this company and very nervous. Thank you for trying to help meBusiness Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I apologize if this is a duplicate, we do not feel this is resolved, and my phone crashed so not sure the first response was sent…bottom line we have no validation that any business transaction that may have occurred has been canceled, and my mothers information has been deleted. They haven’t even acknowledged that the salesperson works for them? My mother’s anxiety is very high since this occurred and this needs to be resolved immediately. We received NO text as promised, we have NO email information and they are difficult at best to contact by phone.
Be great to finalize this so we can put it behind us.

Hello this is from Owner Ryan McManus. Clinton Jackson new support manager was on this case and had hard time with our CRM System we have internal Hubspot and we have Client under Program we don't sell under our Brand Arcadia. Clinton spoke to the customer by email and phone and they came across very unprofessional during the call in there car. Wouldn't provide any information to help us research this account. To find out this account wasn't even processed because they didn't complete QA TPV Verification Call. They could of responded to email by Client Arcadia or called them directly this isn't account we directly manage and that was explained during phone call as well. Contractor was spoken to and responded this account wasn't being processed as he walked away during the visit that is why the TPV was not complete.Initial Complaint
