      I had taken my taxes to be completed by the tax wizard on February 23rd. Met with them in person and paid $175. They never submitted the return and do not return messages or phone calls.

      I dropped off my 2023 income tax information in late March 2024. At that time I was told the taxes would not be finished by April 15 as normally required but they would file an extension to avoid any penalties. I have dealt with the firm for more than a decade and felt comfortable with their plan. Since early June I have tried to contact them multiple times by phone, most times getting no answer, a recorded message or speaking to a representative assuring me that everything was returning to normal and my taxes would be done "soon". I have gone to the office in person and there was a note on the door saying the same thing. My last contact was Sept 26, I asked to have my paperwork returned to me so I could have taxes done by someone else before the extension period expired. I was told they were almost caught up and my taxes would be done in a day or 2. It's Oct 1st and still I have nothing. I've trusted them this long because we have had a great working relationship in the past. All I want is to have my taxes completed and submitted to the IRS before the extension (if they did in fact complete it) expires in less than 2 weeks.

      I had an appointment in March to do my taxes. The day of the appointment, I was called and told they had to cancel and I could drop off my taxes, which I did on the same day. It is now Oct 1 and after numerous calls and claims by them that the tax would be done “within a couple days”, I still do not have any actual updates. Some other who dropped taxes off after mine have had theirs completed already. There are still many clients waiting. I can’t even get anyone to answer the phone or return a message. The extension deadline is now nearing and I am clueless. They have all my paperwork. They are clearly not even doing the returns in the order they were received. At this point, I have no choice but to request all my paperwork back to start over elsewhere, that is IF anyone is even in the actual office. This is totally unacceptable.

      In march 2023 took my taxes and taxes of my deceased
      life partner to be filed so that estate taxes would be filed and paid.
      Many promises were made but no taxes were completed.
      Need the taxes done to finalize the estate as i am executor.
      Would like my forms back so that someone else can finish the returns.

      I had dropped my business and personal taxes off in February to have Barbara schunk The owner of Tax wizard to file and complete my taxes in May there was a report on the news about the business not answering phone calls or emails to come to find out the owner. Supposedly had had a heart attack, which is understandable. The things may have not gotten done, but since then they have not paid their rent. They had put a sign up on the door to give them patience. Now the sign is gone, the emails are not being returned. The voicemail mailbox is full and there are hundreds of clients that have not heard a word about their tax returns… I own a cleaning business myself so I file as an S corporation . There is a lot of personal information that is inside of her building right now along with all of my bank statements, ss #’s , etc. I am beyond annoyed and frustrated. Their ******** page has been taken down. I have contacted the news channels again and now I am reaching out to you.

      We have been using the Tax Wizard to do our taxes for about 13 years and have never had an issue. This year to make a long story very short when ****** filed our taxes what we signed off on and what she actually filed was wrong and it resulted in us owing a lot more than we were supposed to as well as late fees, interest and penalties being added.
      We had to hire a new accountant to help us get this straightened out and get our money back but the Tax Wizard will not return our phone calls and messages to give us the information we need to fix the situation. We have been trying for months.

          I **** *********** drop-off. incomtax w2 form for me and my husband and my friend 3 person's at ; Tax Wizard in February  Lady who work in front desk said to me she will call you when is done. But office closed in April. Answering service said  Lady who does incomtax is in hospital for heat surgery. She will extended...Nobody's at a office or there is no other contact numbers? There will be a penalty fee?   This is unexceptable behavior for a business. thank you.

      I sat with barb from the tax wizard on February 17th at 5:30pm I have been with her since she started in business. Never had a issue this year I gave her my families w2 and all our farm information she said as in the past she will take care and call when there ready. I waited for 2 weeks I was told that she is running behind and will get to them. I waited two more weeks called and mentioned she had a medical emergency and will let me know when she will be back .. I spoke to Tammy before April 15th she said that all extension has been filed and she will get to them when she return... No additional information has been communicated since. I am not sure what to do. Please advise ..thank you

      My Husband and I met with Barb at the Tax Wizard at the end of Feb 2024 to have my taxes completed. During the months of March and April my husband and I called multiple times and stopped by the office multiple times to see if our taxes where finished. They were not. On tax day April 15th when we stopped by we were handed a file saying that they were completed and charged for the service. After review the taxes they looked to be inaccurate and completed by someone other then Barb. We started to call again finding out on social media that this has happened to multiple families. A sign went up on the business saying they would be back on June 1st. We called and stopped by and today is June 6th with no response to phone calls, emails and no one is ever in the office.
