They're awful. I bought a fridge, stove and dishwasher. They left a big mess of packaging, first of all. The ** dishwasher was broken on arrival and they won't fix or replace it even though it's brand new. Do not buy anything from Orvilles, they treat you worse than a big box store.

I purchased a ********** stove from Orville’s appliance store in Orchard Park, NY. I also purchased a 5 yr service warranty thru Orville’s service contract company *** ****. My stove has broken down 4 times with the same error message and now falls under NY appliance lemon law . I have talk repeatedly to Orville’s and *** **** about honoring their Service warranty. They will neither repair or replace my ********** Stove under contract due to it costing them to much Money to fix! Instead they voided my service contract which expires in 5/18/2025 and offered me $245 to buy out my contract for a stove that cost $847. No one will satisfy my contractual agreement ! I will not accept this a settlement of 28% of the original value and support a store ( Orville’s ) and their service provider ever again. Per *** *****’ web page , it states they will repair or replace your appliance, unless it’s effecting their monetary profit. No customer Service ! Stay away !

I purchased a Samsung Washing Machine in April 2023 from Orville's in Williamsville, NY. The washer ( cost approx 490.00) but with hoses, delivery, extended warranty etc, came to approximately 850.00.
The washer broke down in early April of 2024, and when the service man came to fix it about ten days later, he deemed it unfixable. He indicated it was through new fault of my own because the computer in the washer broke down. He said I had waited a long time and he would do what he could to get my problem resolved
About a week later I was notified by through New Leaf, the warrantor, that I would be receiving a new washer. About ten days passed and I called to find out the status of the replacement. I spoke to several people with an explanation of my problem each of whom passed me. Eventually I spoke to Mr. S****, and after what felt like a huge run around as he struggled to find the information, I was told to go to Orville's to pay for a new warranty ( S150.00) . When I I went to Orville's, I was told I had to pay for warranty, hoses and delivery which came to about 250.00. I asked to take a look at the replacement and the machine is obviously smaller than the one I purchased in 2024.
I am filing this complaint because I feel that the additional costs are unfair. I feel that everything that came with the additional purchase should be covered especially with the fact that the machine was less than 1 year old when it became inoperable.

I purchased a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and hood range. I have had problems with all of them. They have been out to repair them several times. The last time they replace a circuit board in my hood range. No more then a hour later we had problems with it. They sent the repair guy back the same day with no luck fixing the problems. I call them several times. They said they would have a supervisor call me . Waited several more day nothing. Finally I called again and reached a supervisor. He tells me there is nothing he can do call the manufacturer. Items are still under warranty.

Had issues with their delivery team. They would not wait 10 minutes for another contractor to move his trailor - so they left and rescheduled my delivery. I was getting a fridge and had removed all the food, etc. Very disappointed in Orvilles and will NEVER buy anything from them again!

I purchased a washer and dryer in August 2023. I had problems with the washer from nearly the beginning. I was told I needed to contact the manufacturer for issues in the first year. Afyer 4 visits and numerous new parts the washer now doesn’t work at all. When I called the store I was told there was nothing they can do and that is “just the state of our world today with appliances” i was told they won’t do anything until the appliance is 366 days and is and the extended warranty kicks in. I explained how that made no sense and if my appliance fails in the first year and the manufacturer won’t fix the problem we’re just out of luck? He responded with “unfortunately yes”. When did local businesses stop caring about customers and providing customer service? It’s no surprise everyone is moving towards big box stores. I’m sure if this was from ******* **** ***** or **** *** they would have replaced it for me and fought this battle for their customer. It’s unfortunate but my future appliance purchases won’t be from Orville’s.

Had scratches on all four appliances. They even put a screw thru my counter top. Had dents inside refrigerator that you could see from the pictures they took upon delivery. Had to pay a restocking fee because it was past 24 hours. Cut marks on microwave. ******* guy came over. Noticed oil on appliance. Told us that ******* does not oil appliances at factory and that it was more than likely done at Orville’s to hide in imperfections. They did compensate for the dents and scratches on appliances and to my counter top. About 200 bucks for over 2 grand with of appliances. Do not buy from here. Customer service is BAD

I purchased the cafe line, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. Due to salesman error, I cancelled the refrigerator and had an independent contractor come for the stove. I received the dishwasher. They did not take the box/pallet that was promised to me by the salesman they would take. The bottom was still wrapped. There was no dents/scratches on the visible area. My installer couldn't get there for a week due to a vacation. 10 days later, when he took the cardboard off the bottom, he noticed that it was creased OUTWARDS on both sides of the front door, something a human could not create. When I called the store, I was told there was nothing they could do. It's a brand new $1000 dishwasher that wasn't installed. **Come to find out, two stores had floor models that have that same crease, so they knew about the defect and wanted to unload these defective dishwashers on an elderly woman. I called and talked to numerous managers, was hung up on, berated, and at one point I found out the store still had my full credit card on file. I then brought all this to the attention of the person in charge of customer service, and when I said I understand your position of 48 hours, which I never signed, and I said this is obviously something that happened outside of the human element, and if she was offering no help, I said unfortunately I will have to pursue other avenues to handle this, be it my credit card or what have you, and she said "is that a threat"? I'm a 76 year old woman. Pursuing other avenues is not a threat. I was blown away at the unprofessionalism coming from not only the store managers but also the head of customer service. I will not endorse a company that doesn't take a customer's issues seriously and treats them so horribly. Funny thing, I work with new home builds and individuals redoing their house/kitchens and word of mouth is key for any business. Thankfully GE took care of me, the customer, in the end.

We had a dishwasher delivered to our house and it was a series of bad events. The delivery men arrived several hours past the estimated window, the dishwasher is missing a piece that was supposed to have come with it, there was plastic packaging stuck underneath the screws which cannot be removed with normal tools and the delivery people broke our front screen door. Upon bringing this to the attention of the store and service department they will take no accountability whatsoever, stated the missing piece and plastic were the manufacturer’s fault and customer responsibility and claimed that our broken door was pre-existing (It definitely was not). It opened and closed properly immediately prior to the delivery men arriving, and it now hangs crooked. I do not appreciate, respect or endorse a company that dismisses a customer’s concerns and refuses to own up to their employees’ destruction of a homeowner’s property. Previous loyal customer lost forever. They are apparently too heartless to care though. Maybe other potential customers will be spared by this review. Go elsewhere.

Orville’s delivered a refrigerator this morning. It was not working upon delivery. Customer Service could not have cared less that a new product was delivered malfunctioning. I understand ******* manages the warranty. Orville’s should at least be responsible to deliver a functioning product. I will make sure family/friends are aware of this experience. I value supporting local businesses. Many go above and beyond, but Orville’s does not. Orville’s you have failed.
