I am not sure what happened, but I sent them a $5000 diamond watch and they appraised and wanted to auction it for only$225. Is their appraisers that inexperienced?? I have a ************** on the watch. So I feel like someone was trying to rip me off or trying to take advantage? I am so disappointed with this company. I will never use or recommend to anyone. I would very careful.Worthy.com

Hello ****,I'm sorry to hear that you're upset about the resale auction reserve recommendation we provided to you in regards to your item. As a company, we take our process seriously and we strive to provide honest and accurate assessments of all items that we evaluate for resale on our auction platform. We understand that seeing a lower than expected amount in the reserve recommendation can be frustrating, but please know that our evaluation process is based on a variety of factors such as market demand, condition, rarity, and current trends in the jewelry resale market. These factors may affect the overall value of an item, but in the end, sellers such as yourself have complete control to set the reserve amount as high as you would feel comfortable with; we just try to provide a very conservative baseline. If you have any questions or concerns about our evaluation process, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We value your feedback and we're always looking for ways to improve our services.Sincerely,The Worthy TeamReview fromNiji K

Absolutely terrified with my experience! The process was seamless until the diamond ring didn't come close to the reserve price. With over 167 "interested bidders", worthy.com could only achieve a highest bid of a few hundred dollars before taxes and fees. I found this to be a slap in the face. I immediately started the process to receive the jewelry back in my possession. Upon receipt, I noticed that the center stone now had a big visible chip/crack, noticeable to the naked eye. I immediately contacted *************************** (Customer success associate), and the matter is being escaladed. A nearly flawless stone was submitted to Worthy.com and an abused stone was returned to me, once I didn't accept the subpar auction results. Please be weary of WORTHY.com and their low "LIVE" auction bids that come in at fractions of the true value. This is a predatory practice to take advantage of people who may be in a hard spot. I don't and won't recommend Worthy to anyone with a heartbeat and a brain.Worthy.com

Hello ****,At Worthy, our number one desire is to provide a 5-Star Experience for every seller who decides to utilize the unique services we provide to help sell their jewelry. Therefore, when we read of an experience that fell short of this, we certainly want to do what we can to address what happened and understand it better to work on improving future interactions with sellers. Most importantly, if we are able, we want to make it right. We sincerely apologize if the diamond in your ring was received back in any condition other than how we received it initially into our possession as our Team takes great quality care of every piece that we are entrusted with. I know things can happen in the shipping process, and even while individuals are cleaning/handling the delicate jewelry. Rest assured, if any damage was inadvertantly caused from the time you shipped the ring until it was returned to you, we will work diligently with you to fix the problem and either repair or replace the stone for you.As far as the highest bid in auction coming much lower than you were anticipating, that's something that can happen from time to time as we deal in the Jewelry Resale Market, and in the current economy, the professional buyers who bid on our auctions are very selective about the types of items they're looking to purchase and sometimes there just isn't as big a market for certain pieces as we would like to see.Regardless, our goal now is to address the chipped stone and take care of that issue for you to your satisfaction. You should be receiving a prepaid return label to send the piece back to us for inspection by our Professional Lab Team and rest assured, before we send anything back to you again, we will do extra quality control on the condition of the item. Thanks for your patience and understanding,The Worthy TeamReview fromShirley B

I'm furious! They did not send me my ring. I sent pictures of the ring I received and pictures of my ring when I sent it them. They just said, the ring they sent me was the correct ring. It is not my ring! I don't know exactly what I should do at this point but get a lawyer? The only thing in their favor was I got the ring last May but I never looked at my ring and thought it would be my ring. Until, a month ago, I wanted to look at it and was shocked! Not my ring. They are scamming me.Worthy.com

Hello,
As communicated to you directly this past February, our records show the same ring we originally received from you on April 11th, 2022 was the same ring we later returned to you on May 20th, 2022. As part of confirming this, we shared the photo taken of your ring with the return label addressed to you, prior to it being packaged and shipped.
It is important to note that we were not alerted of your concerns until 9 months after the jewelry had already been returned. Despite the significant period of time that had passed, our team still focused on completing a thorough review of your concerns before advising of our confidence the correct ring had been returned.
Thank you,

I think the BBB should reaccess their endorsement of this scam company. I decided to use Worthy because of BBB's endorsement. I sent a wedding ring set to them. They requested I allow them to remove the diamond from the engagement ring "to Clean" it. I allowed it. They determined it should be auctioned with a reserve price of $457. Since I had previously gotten it appraised at over $2000 I said no Thank you Please send it back. they suggested raising the reserve price (1st Red Flag). I agreed and chose $600 as the reserve price. A day after the auction started there were no bids but I decided to look at their website and see what they had to offer for sale. Lo and behold MY diamond was listed for sale on their website for $825. I know it was the exact diamond that was on my ring because every specification listed was exactly the same as the one they sent me when they initially evaluated my Rings. I was furious. I immediately called them and the person on the phone volunteered that they had my rings sitting in front of them. I said great, Put them in a box and ***** them to me immediately. They said there would be more than willing to do that except it has to go through processing and be remounted (Red flag #2). I caught them in that lie and the lies continued. What they tried to do was suggest a reserve price that they were willing to pay me for both of the rings and then sell the diamond alone for twice the price of the suggested reserve price. In my opinion they got caught. in my opinion it's a scam company. There's no other explanation for what I've described other than taking advantage. I have been directed and redirected to an estimated seven different people since I complained. All of these teams that they have are a joke. Would Not recommend this company to anyone! I'm still waiting for my rings.Gregory L

Edit: Instead of all the useless words you are using to sound helpful, maybe explain why the diamond remained separate from the ring and not immediately re assembled after the photographing is complete. Also explain why that same diamond with it's photos and specs, was listed on your website for sale at the same time the complete rings were supposedly being auctioned. I have the screen shots so don't even try to tell me that was not the case.Worthy.com

Hello **************,In addition to members of our support team, several senior members of our team have communicated with you in an effort to address the concerns with your experience. We will continue to work with you until we have confirmed your various concerns have been fully addressed. Our primary focus at this time is the safe and secure return shipment of your ring which is set to be delivered this upcoming Monday. Please note, our normal return processing timeframe is **** business days however if a diamond was previously approved to be unmounted, the remounting of the diamond can extend the return timeframe. We recognize you requested an immediate return and we have worked diligently to expedite the preparation of your jewelry's return without compromising the expert care required to return it in the same manner we originally received it from you. As a reminder, the return was initiated per your request on February 9th and it was shipped today, five business days from when these final steps began. In reference to your concerns with the unmounting of your diamond, this service was only provided after we received your approval to do so. The purpose of unmounting the center diamond is to obtain an accurate grading of the diamond as well as 360 imaging that can greatly benefit the auction. We do also provide complimentary professional cleaning and photography of the jewelry to ensure your auction is set up for success. Ultimately, we recognize it can be disappointing if the offers placed are lower than what you were hoping to receive for your jewelry. While we are happy to provide recommendations based on past auctions and current market trends, you have complete control of setting your auction's reserve at the minimum amount you feel comfortable with. This ensures your jewelry only sales if the reserve is met or exceeded and you walk away satisfied. We are sincerely for any misunderstandings that *** have contributed to your overall poor experience. We will continue to communicate with you directly to determine any final steps we can take beyond the return to help you move forward.*********,The Worthy TeamReview fromDavid C.

Tuesday Jan 3rd, 10:31pm, I received notice from Worthy (****, Customer Success Associate) that they accept jewelry items for potential auctioning and provided me a shipping label via ***** to overnight my items to them in *******. **********************************************************Worthy via ****, Customer Success Associate, confirmed my items were on their way Wednesday 1/4/2023 at 6:17pm.Worthy confirmed they received my items Thursday 1/5/2023 at 11:34am.Worthy notified me 29mins later, Thursday 1/5/23 at 12:03pm that my items had been rejected and they would not auction them for me and required me to confirm the return address (which they already had available to them.) Two hours and 25mins later, Thursday 1/5/23 at 2:28pm I provided the requested address, the same facility that the items came from. In the confirmation e-mail I was told that the expected processing time would be **** days. 10 days would be 1/15/23.Friday January 20th, 2023 at 1:21pm I reached out to Worthy to understand the delay. I was told there was a backlog of work and my items should be shipped out to be returned to me.Monday January 23rd, 2023 at 5:32pm I reached out to Worthy again to understand the continued delay. I was told that my items would be expedited back to me and should expect them to be shipped out in the next day or two.Thursday January 26th, 2023 at 11:54am I reached out to Worthy for the 3rd time to understand the continued delays. I was told that I had only provided my return address six days ago, which is false, provable through their own correspondence. After being lied to, I asked how long till my items would be returned to me but was not provided an answer. I instead got the same line about my items being expedited back to me. I informed Worthy I would be reaching out to them again tomorrow.3x the expected return time is not acceptable. The items were initially processed in less than 30mins, there is no excuse to take over 24 days to return my items.Worthy.com

Therefore, when we read of an experience that fell short of this, we certainly want to do what we can to address what happened and understand it better to work on improving future interactions with sellers. Most importantly, if we are able, we want to make it right. Our standard Returns Period for Sellers' Jewelry to be sent back to them is 7 to 10 business days from the date they confirm their return address. That being said, when there are multiple pieces such was the case here with more than 2 dozen individual pieces being returned, it can be delayed as our ***************** Protocols come in to place more to verify that we have absolutely everything exactly as it should be for the return, and package it all safely and securely to get back to the Seller the same as we received it. We do apologize that there was a delay in returning your jewelry for this reason, but I see where you were able to sign for your return via ***** yesterday (1/30), so we are glad we were able to get you back everything due to come back to you.We certainly aim to do everything within our power to resolve complaints and concerns with sellers that come ** in reviews like this, so a member of our Leadership Team will be reaching out to see if there's anything else we can do to alleviate any misunderstandings in your experience with us.Sincerely,The Worthy TeamReview fromBrenda S

Absolutely thrilled with my experience with worthy!! The process to sell my diamond ring was simple and quick!! Ive already referred Worthy to family who have since sent in their own jewelry to sell. My ring sold for more than twice what they told me to expect! I set my reserve price for 5% over what Worthy suggested me to. I received my payment within a couple days of the auction ending. Worthy sent it directly to my bank account. Incredibly easy and hassle free!! Communication was consistent, I knew what was going on with my jewelry the entire time they had it!! The total process only took about 14 days from the time they picked up my ring to the day they paid me. I read MANY mixed reviews before deciding to use Worthy, so I was a little nervous, but Im glad I gave them a chance!! They did not disappoint!! I was able to watch the auction in real time too which I liked! Id recommend ********************** to anyone that has jewelry laying around that they dont wear anymore. Im thankful for Worthy and their professionalism throughout the selling process! I would use them again and will continue to recommend them to others. Great experience!! Thank you!Worthy.com

What a great experience!!! My watch was shipped to them at their expense fully insured and arrived in New York the next day. My Auction Manager ******* answered my questions promptly and kept me informed all the way through the process via the internet. The auction over almost a week was fun to watch with almost 400 interested buyers. My watch was sold Monday (Nov 5th) and my net proceeds went into my account last night. If the opportunity exists, I would use Worthy again and hope ******* is available. Worthly made this process seamless, understandable, and professional.Worthy.com
