      Sucky service always going out and customer service ***** a** sat here all day waiting on Internet come to find out due to the c*** missed the call was home the hole dam time still told me now go-to wait till Wednesday just for these b****** to bring a modem out when they not far away at all

      This company advised they service my house, so I paid for the equipment and the technician came and said they dont have service lines in my neighborhood at all. Then they said I could not get a refund until I return the equipment. So I did return it immediately the next day. When I did, the office said they do not process refunds but it will process within 72 hours. A week after that time, and still no refund. When I called, instead of processing the refund immediately, the operator told me it would be another three days. Zero responsibility and zero accountability. No one should do business with this company.

      I am located in central *********. For nearly every day in April, I lost Internet for 5 hours a day, and Mediacom did nothing. I contacted Mediacom in Feb/Mar to change my plan. I believe I already signed up for auto withdrawal, but I remember having to sign up again. The employee told me I was fine, & I even got text messages every month stating my payment was collected. Suddenly, my internet slowed down one *********** contacted me saying I was 3 months behind & my Internet download speed was at 0.7 Mbps. I logged on, paid again, in May, and still receiving 1/100 of what I pay for. Contacted them, and they explained that it takes "1-2 billing cycles" for it to begin, and ironically, it would begin in just a few days. I asked for them to pull the call, & the employee kept redirecting the conversation. I explained that I paid this **** ***** ago, and still Mediacom was giving me 1/100 of my promised plan, and that I would report them to my bank & the BBB, & that is finally when they agreed to reimburse **** share my account with my father, as Mediacom believes I owe them money from a past account. I lived in another location, that unfortunately only Mediacom serves, and my Internet also constantly went out. It went out, and they said they would need to send a technician, and the technician couldn't make it out for 2 weeks. I was about to move in a little over 4, so I asked to have my services disconnected, since I wouldn't have Internet for the next 2 weeks, regardless. They agreed to send a box, but wanted me to drive 45 mins. to the closest ***** store. The local places were unable to send it, because only ***** stores can create their labels. Mediacom agreed to have someone pick it up on Sunday, Sunday arrived & no one came. I called and they said it opened a "2 wk window" for them to arrive at any time to p/u. No one p/u after two weeks, so I contacted Mediacom and told them it was in my garbage & a technician was there in 26 minutes to p/u.

      Terrible communication and customer service. I have tried to cancel services for 6 months due to abysmal service and they wont allow it and continue to draft out of the bank account.

      They just do not respect customers and intentionally mislead them on services. I was explicitly told I would not need to activate a mesh network when I set up my account, just keep them for the period of service. They have repeatedly reactivated a network that *** called multiple times to get them to stop. They seem to only do it to hinder my signal. I have no respect for this company and am actively considering no internet rather than their services.

      I live in the **************** area and weve had maintenance the last few days. The other two we didnt have many issues. But, today it was scheduled to be a 9 hour fix and be done by 7PM. Fine, I guess. What we werent expecting was it to be out the whole day. Fine, we can deal with it. Well come 7pm, no internet. We call and they say it will be back at 8pm. 8pm rolls around, no internet. Says itll be back on at 9pm. 9pm comes around and still no internet. 10pm comes around and you guessed it. But this time its supposed to be at 12am. If youre going to have issues, cool like I get it. But dont sit there and continuously tell us itll be on when you dont even know whats going on. And then charge us for stuff we cant even use right on the days they ARENT working on the lines. For sub par internet, completely outrageous. 200$ a month for this?!?! FOR THIS?! Nah. We will be exploring other options. I highly suggest anyone reading this after having issues of their own to do the same. Thanks for nothing.

      If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have had Mediacoms service since 2020, always subpar in service, intermittent service. I called and complained, they told me it was my modem, it was the second time, I spent $180 for new modem and the problem persisted. They finally came and checked my line to the house, it was bad, what it connected to on the main line was bad, and the feed to the entire drop was bad. Then I asked for a better deal, instead of ***** a month, they said they could get me a deal with speeds up to 1 gig for ***** , I agreed to that then they without permission entered me into a tech support plan for ***** more a month, I would never have agreed to pay for tech support as I do my own . I had a business doing that. When I called to ask why and who charged it to my account, I waited 30 minutes before I could talk to a supervisor, he was in ************, he said that someone in the *********** had done it. Mediacom has provided subpar service for 4 years that I have speed check records for. If you have ANY OPPORTUNITY TO GET SERVICE ELSEWHERE do .

      This company is scamming you as they have lost their contract with **** so their new boxes they want u to switch to do not have the recording abilities they claimed so if youre box gets shut off by **** mistake theyll jerk u around for 4 days then finally admit they cant fix their mistake .weve been with them since 1989 and this is just the final sneaky thing theyve done!!
