      If I could leave no stars I would. My parents have had this up in the ******* area and both passed away and I have been trying to change the account into my name until house is sold as I am the one paying the bill. Every time I call, when there is an outage they keep telling me to have my mom call. I am the executor of the estate and still cant speak to someone that can assist. Absolutely a horrible experience, the internet is down again and still no one can help me and its very frustrating. Never will use this company ever again.

      Mediacom has installed a new system at ***************** which is a senior living residence. It has been nothing but headaches. Remotes not working with certain tvs, no easy to use remotes for senior citizens. Have been told the only universal remotes have to be blue tooth. My moms tv doesnt even turn on half the time with the remote. It is a nightmare and such a headache.

      Mediacom is ridiculous. They increase their prices $20+ every year. When there are issues they always say that a service call is necessary even though these issues are happening to many people across the service area. The last time I attempted to chat with an agent the computer "*****" said they were getting a live agent and then 2 minutes later I received a message saying "Chat session completed" and all I could do was print the messages or close the chat. Our service is constantly going in and out and they lie about their 1000 MBPS download speed. We've never hit above 200 MBPS. If you can find any other option, choose that.

      I have been with them for 7 years and my price continues to go up but the quality continues to go down. They are the only provider in my area so I have no other option. I feel like this should be criminal.

      They have terrible terrible product . Ive lost so much work . They keep saying there maintenance in your area and will take 2 hours . four hours later lets call it what it ia mediacom . Outage and you continue to have this happen . Poor

      I have had three install dates now first one was January 31 and the next is February 25. The customer service is terrible I can talk about the service because they haven't done it yet. They said maintenance issue. Then it's fixed but I have to wait for 10 more days. It's winter and there were no tracks in my yard

      This company is a joke, I would switch but some internet is better than none. They are the only service for highspeed in my area. It should be illegal for these criminals to charge what they do for c*** service. Constantly throttled service, I had a plan for 1 gbs download was constantly only getting 500mbs on a good day. I would call and the service would miraculously go to 1gbs for a few hours then back to the 500mbs. I've had techs out multiple times and they left scratching their heads unable to find the cause. So I switched to the 500mbs since thats all they were giving me, now I'm lucky if i get 100mbs. I have multiple records from multiple days. If you can avoid this company DO SO. They are liars and cheats.

      on 2/2/25 i called billing/and accounts for my ******************** home internet account trying to redact an overcharge for a landline service that i didnt want and dont use that spontaneously was being charged to my account, the call was answered by a ********, at certain point within the conversation she admitted that i paid ****** towards my bill, and shortly there after admitted that i usually pay only ****** for my internet bill, she then tried and did charge me an ADDITIONAL ***** dollars after i paid ******, she should've said we will credit you 3.00 toward your next bill, after i paid the additional ***** dollars a few minutes later i recieved a text saying that my bill was paid and the overcharge for my internet because of landline service ( which i didnt want at any point and time ) was now 0.00. I AM DEFINATELY LEAVING THIS CARRIER AND SERVICE AND I DONT ADVISE IT TO BE ANYONE'S ISP now or at anytime in the future.

      By far the biggest ***** of an ISP I have ever been forced to have. The are the only option for "High Speed Cable" in my area, which leads to their expensive prices and lack of customer service. Going on 3 years of consistently calling them out to fix my internet for the exact same issue. The problem gets fixed for about 2 weeks then it happens again. I have email proof and it is also listed all over my account that the issues started in 2022 and have continued happening even today. If there was any other ISP in the area that had even half of what they offer I would wash my hands completely of them, but unfortunately I work from home and satellite/DSL will not cut it. Would give 0 stars if possible, and since my upload speeds are usually around 0.7mpbs they deserve 0.

      The prices and customer service are horrible. They corner a market and know you have no other options. Say you'll pay 65 after discounts and stuff but then just randomly take discounts off and you're stuck paying over a hundred a month. Multiple calls to complain about prices when at 85 a month and no one ever told me it was gonna get worse. As a whole we should not let the pricing get this out of control. ***** a month is plenty...and yes that should be with equipment. Why do we let them rip us all off
