I had a surgery done 02/2022 and received a bill from **** 2023, a year after the procedure was done. I spoke to **** multiple times about billing concerns and at the same time I also spoke to my insurance provider when I had my surgery. I was told that **** filed a claim to a different insurance instead of filing it to my insurance. I do not know where did they get the incorrect insurance information. The last time I spoke to them with the phone number ************ was last year was July 12,2023. Billing person told me that my account was still under review and I am not responsible to pay any amount since it was them who did not file the claim in a timely manner. Recently, I received a bill again from NAPA. When I called their new number ************, I spoke to someone who is from abroad and seems like they do not have any idea what is going on with my account. They never fixed the problem that was supposed to be fixed previously.North American Partners in Anesthesia L.L.P.

The anesthesiologist was wonderful but the billing office is the worst I've ever dealt with. I've worked in medical billing a long time, so I am not unfamiliar with claims processes. I'm now on month THREE of providing my insurance information (technically have provided four times so far), and they keep billing me and insisting they have no insurance on file. I also received an email today that my insurance info I provided was incorrect. If I had any control over my anesthesia provider prior to my surgery, I absolutely would have chosen anyone else.North American Partners in Anesthesia L.L.P.

I've been told too many different things concerning my medical bill. I was told to send in an application for financial assistance which I did. Then when checking on its status the girl in billing said they don't offer financial assistance to individuals with insurance. I asked did the honor or match the percentage of charity from the facility where the medical service was performed. Again the girl in billing said no. I called financial assistance with the company and an employee said to email the charity letter that they do match the percentage of the charity from the hospital. I was told that part of the bill for some reason was filed again that when I received the bill to let the personal know the charity letter was being matched, billing refused.North American Partners in Anesthesia L.L.P.

1 starPATIENT BE WARE! If I need another procedure in the future, I've been informed that I can REQUEST that they DON'T use an anesthesiologist from North American Partners Anesthesia (American Anesthesiologist of *********, PC). I had a procedure done in January 2023. Got my bill in February?, paid the first $500 and set up payments of $100 a month until it was paid off. I went on a vacation in May 2023 & MAILED all my payments out before I left on vacation. In June?, I didn't receive a bill so called and was told that payments had to be received by them 4 days before - 4 days after the due date. My mailed check came in earlier so it was posted to the previous month and I was now late and my monthly $100 payment was cancelled. The lady on the phone researched it, understood and reset me up on a $100 monthly payments. All is fine until NAPA (American Anesthesiologist of TN) changed billing companies. They changed my billing date from the 23rd to the 4th-unbeknownst to me. They said they texted me (I believe they had my home phone number on record) and they emailed me. I admit I have been scammed before and don't open all emails. I've called to request this be removed from my credit, but it falls on deaf ears. After a few phone calls, they said it was not their fault. They had texted AND emailed me and that's all they are required to do. BOTTOM LINE: If you have a scheduled surgery in *********, I would certainly request that it not go through North American Partners in Anesthesia (American Anesthesiology of *********). For older people like myself who prefer to MAIL a check, you will put yourself through a lot of aggravation for a company who wants to force you to use an automatic system with their 4 days before/4 days after the due date. I am paying my last monthly payment now. All of this for 3 monthly payments. P.S. The anesthesiologist was fine. Billling is a nightmare!Review fromDerna N

1 starTerrible company! I received a bill for anesthesia services after a preventative screening colonoscopy, that is required every 5 years due to family history of cancer. Per my health insurance cancer screenings are 100% covered. Some how the Anesthesiologist who I saw for <1 minute was listed as my attending physician and I was billed for a diagnostic procedure only by anesthesia, not my gastroenterologist who used the correct code and was paid per my insurance. I contacted my insurance company who said if it was coded correctly it would be paid.I called the billing number, spoke to someone who spoke such poor English and was very inefficient. When I asked to speak to a supervisor multiple times I was denied and told they would put a 120day hold on my account t and contact the hospital where the procedure was performed for documents. I asked what documentation was needed, no answer was provided even when I told them I would get the documents for them. 1 week after I was told there would be a hold on my account I got a past due notice on my bill sent via email and in the mail. Prompted me to pay the bill saying to avoid collection! I have called the corporate line where the automated message says no one is available to take my call and to leave a message, the same for the patient financial counselor.I have even sent an email injury via their website with no response ( and since it goes directly through their website no recipient address is available so I cannot keep any records of my attempts to contact them.)This is absurd!! Some needs to contact me as I am not inclined to pay a bill that I dont owe!Review fromSean S

In September of 2023, I had a procedure done from a work injury. At my employers instructions I provided contact information to the hospital and providers on where to send all billing. On december 8, 2023 at 10:59 pm I received a text message saying my bill is ready to be viewed. The next day, a Saturday evening, I received an email from North American Partners in Anesthesia of Central PA LLC with a similar message and link. At the bottom of the email was a phone number which I called on Monday. I talked to a rep on a call back and tried to provide my employers contact information. ******* refused to accept this and demanded other information which I dont have access to. I asked to speak to a supervisor, which ******* replied saying the supervisors were unavailable because they were knitting. ******* repeated the unavailability due to knitting twice and refused to solve this problem. Since that conversation, I have received one text message, one paper bill and 5 other emails, which arrive every 5 days or so, in a steady stream of harassment and now threats that I have not experienced from any other medical group. I seriously question the professionalism and legitimacy of this company. All the other providers involved in my care have followed the contact information and from my understanding have been paid.North American Partners in Anesthesia L.L.P.

They contacted me (by email) about a $900 bill for a surgery from 17 months prior. They do not answer calls. They do not call back as they claim they will. They have now threatened a collections agency. I was under the impression I paid for the surgery in full at the time of the surgery. Then a few months later they billed me for $90 & said it was a difference in the estimate of how much insurance would cover. So I paid this bill in full immediately. Now 17 months later they have sent me this much larger bill with no explanation & not willing to talk. They waited 17 months to send a bill with no explanation & expected it to be paid in less than 2 weeks. Again, they waited 17 months & won't wait half a month for me. I see they are not accredited by the BBB, so I am also assuming they may be a scam company & not legitimate at all. So I am still trying to contact them to see if I should pay this or not.North American Partners in Anesthesia L.L.P.

On 5/12/2022 I had a meniscus procedure at ********* ******** in ********. In June '22, my insurance company sent me an Explanation of Benefits indicating what was submitted by the hospital, doctor and anesthesiologist, what the insurance company might cover, and what I may owe. i never heard from any of the parties involved, until 9/14/2023. A debt collecting ********** sent me a letter that they were trying to collect a debt that I owed to North American Partners in Anesthesia ********. NAPA - ******** sold the debt to CF Medical LLC, they never sent me any billing/invoice notices. I sent a letter to the law office requesting information about the amounts owed and time lines of billing and no further information was provided to resolve the dispute. NAPA's lack of proper billing/invoicing has now left me dealing with debt collectors and credit issues.North American Partners in Anesthesia L.L.P.

North American Partners in Anesthesia makes every effort to contact patients with outstanding bills. Once those efforts have been exhausted accounts may be placed or sold to a collections agency. For this account the best way to address it is to call the Capio *************************** at ************.Review fromDeborah L

I would give National Partners In Anesthesia (NAPA) a zero rating. In March of 2023 I had a colonoscopy at ********************************* in ********, **. Naturally, I assumed my doctor would use a reputable company. The day after my procedure I received a text from NAPA telling me I owed nearly $3000.00 dollars for anesthesia services and to please pay immediately. I called to make sure they had my ******** and supplement information which they did. I assumed, like every other medical procedure, the bill would be sent to ******** and I would receive a bill for the remainder. They did not and months later have not filed for ******** reimbursement while sending me weekly bills. Of course I'm thoroughly ****** at my doctor! At the very least he should have warned me about their unethical practices. What NAPA hopes is that patients will feel threatened to pay immediately and NAPA lucks out because they get paid more by the patient than if they filed for ******** reimbursement.North American Partners in Anesthesia L.L.P.
