Terrible company and terrible customer service. I had an issue with ********* and they passed my complaint to IPostal1 and sent me on a wild goose ***** with several different operators the last one was such a b**** I hung up the phone. They refused to fix the issue and offered no remedy.

Most frustrating process ever!!! Would never recommend them. They made me use their notary service, the link they send sent me to a notary site. I had to pay $25 for one document only to be told it wasnt sent over to the same company that made me use this service!

Hi *******,Thanks for your review. The **** requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with proper IDs in order for your mail center to accept mail on your behalf. Most customers find this process to be fast and ******* stated on our FAQs page, some mail centers are able to approve your 1583 form in-store, removing the need for a notary; however, if they do not, you are asked to use an online notary service to get your form notarized, for which you are charged a fee of $25. The use of the online notary helps to protect both you and your mail center from fraud. Our **************** team will be reaching out to follow-up and fully assist with your account's *****************************************

Worst, most frustrating, aggravating signup process I have ever experienced. What should have been a one-day, quick sign-up for services turned into a month-long ordeal. Multiple error messages on the websites they use to notarize the ******************************************************* scans. Once we finally got signed up for the new box number in preparation for our international move, we began receiving emails telling us ID scans were missing and needed to be sent again. We started this process a month ago, and our postal box remains in pending status. We would cancel our order if it weren't now days away from our departure overseas. We hope the service after getting the postal box is better than during the signup process. I would definitely NOT recommend this company's services, because the signup process is ridiculously awful.

Hi ******,Thanks for your review. The **** requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with proper IDs in order for your mail center to accept mail on your behalf. Most customers find this process to be fast and easy. These documentsare also required for any additional adults whose names you wish to have added to your account.Once forms are submitted, they are reviewed and approved if in order. According to our records, your documents were initially uploaded on 5/3, two days after your account was opened, and you were notified on the following day and again on 5/17 via email thatthe documentation for your additional recipient would also be needed in order for your account to be approved. The documentation for your additional recipient was then uploaded on 5/19, and on 5/22, we reached back out to you to inform you that we needed clearer images of IDs to be uploaded. As we have not yet received all of the new images of the IDs that we requested, your account has yet to be approved. Our specialized Forms Support team will be reaching out to follow-up and fully assist you with your account's *****************************************

The service is misleadingyou think you're paying for a physical mailbox and that scanning with an additional fee to forward the mail to you. In reality, they charged extra for every single scan and mail forwarding requeststarting at $3 per item, which adds up quickly. It ends up being far more expensive than advertised. There are better and more transparent alternatives out there.

Hi ******,Thanks for your review. Our website provides transparency when it comes to our services, plans, pricing, locations, and more. Once proper documentation is submitted, your are provided with a physical mailbox along with your virtual address, but no where is it stated that scanning and forwarding are ************ are charged $2.25 for each mail item that you request to be opened with the contents being scanned. Shipping fees are provided in real time and are entirely determined based on the shipping method and carrier you choose and the size and weight of what you are shipping. Please be sure to check out our scan/shred bundles to save money. If you would like to let us know specifics about your experience, please write to us at [email protected],iPostal1

Total scam! In addition to the $49.99/month I was paying, they would take additional funds for a phone balance, even though the original balance was never depleted. I did not authorize the additional funds and when I cancelled the service (due to the unauthorized transaction), I was informed that any phone balances are non-refundable. That is theft, pure and simple!

Hi ****,Thanks for your review.Your subscription for one of our Office Plans provided you with a phone and fax line in addition to your virtual address. There are very small nominal fees for the use of the phone and fax line, as outlined on our plans and pricing pages. When you signup for one of these plans, we automatically provide you with a balance on $10 to use for these fees, but any excess fees must be paid for using funds uploaded from you. If and when your account is canceled, and funds that you have uploaded to your account balance in excess of the $10 that we provide as a courtesy will be refunded to you.Our **************** team will be reaching out shortly to fully assist you.Sincerely,iPostal1

It's a scam. I did the virtual mailbox to avoid giving my personal mailing address setting up an LLC. They set up the two mailboxes I ordered as personal versus business and then wanted to charge me more to change them over to business when I had already paid $400 and then a monthly fee of $20 for each mailbox/month. They required a $25 notarization fee and then wanted the ID's used for the notarization uploaded. The uploading of the 1583 form had to be done through customer service chat which was more than an hour wait for someone to answer. I"m just waiting for all this to be done and then them s**** up my mail. Then I will leave another poor review.

Hi ******,Thanks for your review. We have thousands of happy customers using our services for their business. Our Virtual Business Address plans begin at $14.99 per month, and our ************** plans, with which both a phone and fax number are provided, begin at ***** per month and $399 per year. Our records indicate that you initially selected to sign up for an account with a personal plan, then requesting that we close that account rather than upgrade it to your desired plan. You then opened a new mailbox and selected to sign up with the ************* 60 Plan. The **** requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with proper IDs in order for your mail center to accept mail on your behalf. Most Customers find this process to be fast and easy. While you completed this process for your first mailbox, new documentation is required to be completed for each mailbox that you open, as the information on your form needs to specifically match your mail center address and mailbox ********* stated on our FAQs page, some mail centers are able to approve your 1583 form in-store, removing the need for a notary; however, if they do not, you are asked to use an online notary service to get your form notarized, for which you are charged a fee of $25. My husband has an account at the ******, and put me as a dependent, we made the approval of the form authenticated by an online notary, just as they require, we did everything they asked, so that in the end they do not approve the account. Everything has been done, but they put difficulties to have a joint account. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Hi Alenz,Thanks for your review. The **** requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with proper IDs. This is required in order for your mail center to accept mail on your behalf.A separate 1583 form and 2 forms of ID are also required for any additional people whose name you'd like to be added to your account. Our records indicate that your account was approved today with both a primary name and business name for it, but no additional name has been added. We do see that the documentation for your additional recipient was sent to us and is still under review. Fraudulent business practices. I had challenges complying with the requirements to validate the mailbox and asked to cancel. They never did. They continued to charge me for 3 years without providing any services. They are unwilling to refund the fraudulent charges. They should have never charged me until they activated my mailbox which never happened. I wish I would have reviewed the other reviews from people that experienced this as well before I signed up. Run from this business!

I utilized ipostal fora little over 2 years or more without issue until the mail center I was using sent an email literally days before they were closing stating I needed to select a new location because my location was closing abruptly " sorry for the inconvenience"... frantically I choose another location closer to my house but it has turned out to be the worse decision ever. The new location charges me $1.00 each time i come in to pick up my mail!!! When i noticed a charge on my acct that said arranged pick up from home I called and was told that charge is charged in addition to my monthy service charge each time I simply come in to pick up my mail smh.... i was never charged to pick up my mail from my original location, only when i had my mail mailed to me.... then to add insult to injury they charged me for mail they lost! Yes! They lost my mail originally. I arrived and waited between ***** mins while the lady searched and called the manger who worked the day before trying to locate my mail. I ended up leaving because i had to go back to work only to get a call shortly after i left from the lady saying she found the mail, it had been misfiled. Thankfully i hadnt gotten too too far only about 5 mins down the road but it was still a huge inconvenience to be charged for... after that i stopped receiving mail all together. Clients stated they have mailed payments to that address directly and weeks have passed and nothing... the lady ive been speaking with sounds as if she could completely care less. I stopped in to check on the situation for the last time yesterday in person after several phone calls and would you believe i heard another call come through where a woman was concerned that the mail showing in her ipostal account was for someone she has never heard of and the customer service *** at the center simply did not care. Her response was she had nothing to do with that.... ( I was sitting there like its probably my mail!) That said im done with ipostal

Hi ********,Thanks for your review. We're sorry for the issues you described.Mail center closures are rare, but when they do happen, we facilitate the transfer process and help move your mailbox to a new mail center that works for you. We do our best to make this a seamless transition.Since it does take time and labor to process a pickup task, there is a nominal charge at most mail address locations. Pickup pricing does vary by location, and details on pickup fees are available by each address listing on our Locations page. When picking up letters, the pickup fee is for any number of letters. There is a pickup fee for each package. These fees are charged for all mail pickups, whether they are scheduled or not. Our service standards dictate that new mail should be inserted within *********************************************************************** a secure and organized manner. We work closely with our partner mail centers to ensure that these standards of service and quality are met, and we have followed-up with your mail center. Our records indicate that our **************** team has been in contact with you to provide assistance.Sincerely,iPostal1
