no way you can give these folks A+ rating. Read the complaints. Just because they refund the amounts they consistently overcharge for doesnt make than an A+. They have serious issues which is why they are quick to refund. I used my ******************* to get results as a lack of their response or help. BBB has really missed the boat here. The object is to have almost no complaints not resolve them because they committed fraud or theft and got caught.iPostal1, LLC

I was unable to sign up because this is a scam. I provided the documentation and the payment, and it did not work. Although it looked good at first, I requested a refund. I hope I get it.iPostal1, LLC

Hi *******,Thanks for your review.Your subscription begins as soon as you create your account and enter your information, as that is when you are first provided with your unique virtual address. The **** requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with proper IDs in order for the mail center to accept mail on your behalf. Most of our customers find this process to be fast and easy.According to our records, you never submitted any of the required documentation to us.We do issue a refund for the first 30 days if you did not use your account for any purpose, so you will be refunded for your initial subscription fee. Our **************** team will be reaching out to follow-up with you.Sincerely,iPostal1Review fromGeorge G

**************** is non-responsive. The only time we have been able to get a live agent on the phone is when we purchased their product, then, when we attempted to speak with a live person by calling to act as if we wanted to open an account. Since opening the account on 02/24/25, no one has responded to our chat request to cancel our account. We are solely cancelling our account because of unsatisfactory customer service. We sent a chat request to cancel our account on 02/26/25, but it has been 2 weeks and no one has responded. They were fast to charge our form of payment, but not to credit our form of payment.iPostal1, LLC

I have a very bad experience with iPostal. The service is quite inconsistent for both the local mail box office and ******* itself. I lost several mails that are tax related. I used the consolidate and ship with the highly priced tracking service. They still lost my mail. ******* said they will work to improve the service with this vendor I was using. Next time around, another batch of mail was lost. For this type of service, it is a MUST to have reliable, consistent service and they have failed to deliver. ******* uses the excuse that most tech companies use these days, "we merely provide the technology", shrugging off the lost mail issue. When I pointed out that it was their technology that sent misleading and wrong info regarding my mail and its tracking info, they did not acknowledge it and simply gave me a condescending response saying "I should've have paid for a higher service" to avoid mail getting lost. Is $30 not high?iPostal1, LLC

Hi Cyn,Thanks for your review. We are sorry for the issues you described. When mail arrives at your chosen mail center, you have the option to forward packages to another address with a choice of carriers and service level. It sounds like the root cause in this case is with the carrier, not the mail center. We would be happy to investigateyour specific case.Unfortunately, we are unable to identify your account from this review. I had the service for about 2 years. Signing up and using the service was fine for what I needed. The 2 star rating is related to departing the service. When I no longer needed the service they and their subsidies refused to perform mail forwarding. I offered to come to the pickup location or pay for mail forwarding. I was told they wouldnt forward or allow me to pickup my mail and that instead they do a return to sender. When I went to the **** to have my mail forwarded they stated that per the agreement they have with **** the **** is required to forward mail for 6 months following the termination of service. I canceled service over 1 month ago and still have no mail forwarded.iPostal1, LLC

Hi ******,Thanks for your review and for being a valued customer. Our records indicate that all of your mail that was received by your mail center prior to your account cancelation was picked up by you.Regarding the specific Terms of Service question you had, when it comes to continuing to forward mail for 6 months after canceling (as referenced in Section 18 (c and d) "Termination and Mail Forwarding" of the Terms of Service), there is no set fee. This is something that would be discussed with your mail center, as it will vary by location, and could depend on how much mail you will be receiving.Sincerely,iPostal1Review fromBlaire A

This has been an awful experience. So far I've had this service for 1 month and it was suppose to be $10/month, but they charge that on-top of an additional $20 to keep in my account apparently for no reason. The worst was I had one package delivered there from **** which **** confirmed delivery of. Then I tried to reach them for a week (online chat, called three times, emailed them) finally reached someone on the phone who found my package but said it was lost because it was delivered on a Saturday and iPostal doesn't work weekends. What is the point of getting a mail forwarding service if it cannot receive packages! Then when I tried to forward the package to myself it says I need to notarize another 1583 form which I did when I signed up. Now Im trying to contact customer service again and no one is answering me because they have a "high number of chats." This was supposed to make my life easier and so far it's just been another headache.iPostal1, LLC

Hi ******,Thanks for your review. We are sorry for the issues you described. Our records indicate that your account has been active with us since November 18, 2024, and your monthly subscription rate is $9.99 per month, meaning that until this point, your 3 monthly subscription fees total $********* also currently have a balance of $30.01 loaded onto your account. This is due to ****** previously being used as a primary payment method for one of your accounts, for which a balance is required. As your primary payment method is now a credit card, there is no need for this balance on your account, and we can provide you with a refund for it.Your mail center has posted that its availability extends to all 7 days of the week. We expect mail centers to adhere to the hours of availability that they have posted. We work closely with our mail center partners to ensure that our standards of service and quality are maintained, and we will follow up with your mail center to ensure that the hours they have posted are accurate. The **** requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with proper IDs in order for the mail center to accept mail on your behalf. Our goal is to make this process fast and ******* stated on our FAQs page, some mail centers are able to approve your 1583 form in-store; however, if they do not, you are asked to use an online notary service to get your form notarized, for which you are charged a fee of $25.Our records indicate that your requested shipment that you are referring to was intended to be sent to ******. If you intend to ship internationally, the online notary is a requirement, even if your mail center is able to approve your 1583 form in-store. We are sorry for any delay in communication that you have experienced. We are currently working to add more **************** representatives, to meet the needs of our growing volume of customers. Our **************** team will be reaching back out shortly to follow up and fully assist you.Sincerely,iPostal1Review fromJessica S

I am extremely disappointed with iPostal1 for their recent and unjustified 50% price increase for customers who want to keep their business name on their mailing address. This move feels like nothing more than an exploitative cash grab targeting small businessesmany of whom rely on services like iPostal1 to protect their privacy and keep their home addresses separate from their work. There was no explanation of increased costs, no mention of improved servicesjust a sudden price hike with an ultimatum: pay up or remove your business name and risk losing valuable mail. This lack of transparency is appalling and demonstrates a complete disregard for their customers. If you want to keep your business name, youll pay $5 more per month for monthly subscribers or $50 more per year for annual subscribers starting January 20, 2025. No changes or enhancements to justify the increasejust a demand for more ******** avoid the increase, customers must remove their business name from their address, meaning any mail sent to the business name will be returned to sender. This is a severe inconvenience for anyone who has spent time and resources establishing their business address. The only other option is to pay the increase until customers decide to downgrade to a personal mailing addressagain, shifting the burden entirely onto the customer. This policy is not only predatory but also shows a blatant disregard for the small business community that likely forms the backbone of their customer base. Many of us rely on ********************** to maintain our professionalism and privacy, and this sudden price hike feels like exploitation. If iPostal1 values its customers, they should reconsider this price increase and offer real, tangible reasons for any changes. Otherwise, I urge other small businesses to consider alternative services that respect their users rather than gouging them for profit.Signed,A frustrated small business owner who will be looking elsewhere.iPostal1, LLC

Hi *******,Thanks for your review. We understand your displeasure with the increased price of our Virtual Business Address Plan. Please know that this is not a common practice for us as this is our first price increase since 2015, when we started out. With increases in many operational costs, including the cost of leased locations and the wages of employees who service your account, we find it necessary to make this change ****** a reminder, your Virtual Business Address Plan actually acts like 2 addresses, allowing you to receive mail and packages in both your personal and business name. If you would like to continue to receive mail and packages in both your company and personal name, the price is increasing from $9.99 to $14.99 per month. This remains highly competitive with other services in our space that offer fewer address locations and fewer features. If you no longer need your company name, we provided a link in the email you received to remove the company name on your mailbox and avoid the price increase. Your digital mailbox details won't change otherwise. We truly appreciate your understanding when it comes to this change. We want you to have a great experience using iPostal1. 1 starThey took my money. My family and I recently moved across the country. I signed up for the virtual mailbox, but found that I didn't need it and I requested a refund. I ended up with two accounts, a box I never got to use, and they refunded only half. They still own me $20. This is a brand new way of handling mail and if the company will not issue a $20 refund, I wonder how many more accounts are being skimmed right off the top. Thanks Ipostal!! I do not recommend.Review fromEugene C

I have used iPostal1 before without incident. I needed another mailbox and now I wish I had shopped around first. Based this current experience with them, it seems they are either spread too thin or there is some serious disorganization in ************* you can see in other reviews they no longer trust State Certified Notaries. Their website still states that you can upload your documents that are signed in person by a notary, but by not making it clear that now the ONLY way to complete your 1583 is by using THEIR Virtual Notary, the true cost of their services is hidden. The virtual notary service is $25. This is much higher than an in-person notary, so if you add anyone to the mailbox later you're talking $50 for notary services. I wonder if there are some kickbacks going on here?If a mistake occurs when using the virtual notary and you need to have it notarized again... yes, another $25 unless they made a mistake and are gracious enough to refund. After having uploaded copies of my ID, Address verification, etc. to the Virtual Notary, conducting a virtual meeting and then received their notarization, the virtually notarized 1583 and verification documents are then transmitted directly to iPostal. But wait...!! Then I received a message from the mail center saying a verification document was too blurry. Yes, you heard right, the mail center does not trust the Virtual Notary. Mind you, I have already uploaded all of this stuff directly to iPostal when I had it notarized in person and then again when I paid to have it notarized virtually... but that's not enough. Going on 2 weeks since I re-uploaded another scan of my verification document directly to iPostal and I am still waiting for approval.I have inquired to iPostal twice and their CANNED response is "your mail center has been notified to review your files for final approval" and then after checking back with them on Day 9 they stated "Final approval takes between 1-3 business days".Ridiculous!iPostal1, LLC

Hi ******,Thanks for your review. We are glad that you have been happy using iPostal1 until now. We are sorry for any delay in communication that you experienced. The **** requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with proper IDs. This is required in order for the mail center to accept mail on your behalf. Our goal is absolute transparency. In late September, we made a change to online notary only and updated our FAQs page to reflect this change. This switch was to enhance security for our partner locations and customers alike. Some mail centers are able to approve your 1583 form in-store; however, if they do not, you are asked to use an online notary service to get your form notarized. After your form is notarized and submitted, our dedicated 1583 team reviews your documents. Your mail center is still responsible for final approval, as they are the entity that will be handling your mail. We would be happy to look into your specific case and help get your documents approved. Unfortunately, we are unable to locate your account from this review. Please contact **************** so that we may fully assist you. For fastest service, please use the live chat Monday-Friday 9am-8pm ET.
