1 starLost over $1000 in COVID-era vouchers because they wouldnt extend a grace ****** after their website was down. Punted me to an IT support team when I complained, never heard back afterward. When pressed, they said it was too late to do anything. The global customer service team drags their feet on absolutely everything. Ive never flown them, and I never will.Review fromAntonio B

2 starsI explained to the customer service rep that my children were involved in a sexual assault and **** case and I had to cancel my flights which were due in August. I told them this in June and they told me that they couldnt fully refund my tickets. they said they had to be a death in the family related, my kids couldve ended up dead. My children were self harming themselves because they were living with my ex who had a man doing horrible things to them and they couldnt even refund me fully the amount.Review fromIvana F

1 starI am writing to express my profound frustration and disappointment regarding the handling of my recent flight with Qatar Airlines, which resulted in me missing my flight. On Sunday July 7,2024, I arrived at the airport with all the required documentation and checked in without issue. However, when I reached the gate, an agents slowness and uncertainty regarding **** verification caused a significant delay. Despite presenting the correct documentation and rectifying a name discrepancy on the spot, the agent took an excessive amount of timeover an hour and a halfto verify my ****. This delay resulted in the ticket counter closing before my verification was complete.During this time, one of my bags was checked and placed on the plane, yet the remaining steps were not completed in a timely manner, directly due to the agent's incompetence. Despite the intervention of a supervisor, the situation was not resolved efficiently, and I was ultimately unable to board my flight.The emotional and logistical impact of this failure is immense. Missing this flight has caused me severe distress, and the airlines failure to act competently and promptly is unacceptable.I demand immediate action to address this situation. I expect a full refund of my ticket and compensation for the emotional and logistical hardship caused. Additionally, I urge you to review your staffs training and competence in handling such critical tasks to prevent future occurrences. i have attached all documents that have the dates of when they were obtained and as you can see all proper documentation was provided at the time of my flight.Review fromSinan A

1 starI have been a customer of ********************** for over 3 years now, and within yhe past 3 years i had 3 flight cancilations, customer service was no help at all, and in all at least one or more of my family was left stranded in another airport. In all ocations we were at the airport for at least 4 hours, and didnt get a hotel until 2am in the morning. In all 3 encounters Qatar airways refused to compensate. Im not sure how the airways claim to be the best. The most resent encounter was last month, and still refused to compensate for the 24+ delay and the disrespectful and rudness of their customer service at the counter or on the phone. The dare to even raisr their voice on me and had to put them back inline.Review fromSonam P

1 starWorst customer service, full of false information and not helpful. I tried to postpone my mother's flight 1 week (due to health reasons) and had a horrible experience trying to do so. The new flight (same time/route, but different date) had a fare difference. My original ticket was $1098, whereas the updated flight was $873. Per Qatar's so-called policy, I first should have been issued a refund for the amount difference. However, I spoke with 3 different agents in a row who lied and said they see no fair difference on their end. I tried to explain countless times that there is in fact a difference in fare, and that I even have my original E-ticket receipt showing the initial amount paid. I was even on the Qatar website, reading exactly what I was seeing on my end to the various agents. Yet, the agents still stuck to their lying script and told me my only option to change the flight date was to PAY AN ADDITIONAL $35. Why would I pay MORE to postpone flight when in fact, Qatar owed me a refund for the difference in flight prices??? This is the worst customer service I have faced with any airline. Do not recommend flying Qatar. Unless you don't mind being cheated and dealing with s***** service.Review fromRaffi S

1 starMy login to qatarairways.com has been locked for few months for no apparent reason. I have tried Forgot Password multiple times to no avail. I just receive the message to contact Customer Support. So I contact them and I am told that I will get a call within ***** hours. Of course no one calls. I follow up again, and I am told that my password will be reset in 24 hours and I will receive an email. No email including checking Junk and Spam folders. I follow up again and I am told the same story of ***** hours that I will receive a follow up email. Absolutely nothing. You cannot even call their ******************* directly. You have to go through Bookings and they send a message to Security on your behalf. One of the calls, the agent could not even verify my information (DOB, name, email) and she could not help me because of their dinosaur age systems. At this point, I have given up and I am willing to forgo those rewards that are saved in my account. No one is taking ownership. Zero empathy and compassion towards the customer.Review fromAnthony K

1 starThere ******* based check in desk supervisors need retraining with regards to basic manners and human interaction. When a customer comes up to ****** skiing for help ignoring them or being rude should not be the customer service reps answer. 1 starIf I could I would not even give 1star.My doughter attended 2024 World Championships, as part of National Squad Team flying from ******* ** to ******. She is trying to get back home, but Qatar Airlines made mistake checking in only her bag and then denied her entry on the connecting flight in ****. There are no other flights in the next 24h back home. At the airport there is nobody helping her to book her on the next flight nor find close by accommodation with airport transfers, nor food. She's been in ************ for the past 8 hours. What is the company policy when such mistakes happen? Why there is nobody to help, as I used Qatar airline because they are organizers of this international sports event?For your reference I have raised complaint number with Qatar Airline CAS-*******-M1S6K3, Qatar ************** World Championships Organizers. 1 starMy dear family friend has been a victim of *****, unfair and unjustified profiling. My friend and I planned our trip to ***** for the *** National Holidays and booked our return tickets with Qatar Airways. We have valid ******** Tourist Visas, valid Passports, booked our hotels as we have planned to go around 3 major cities in ***** and made a full packed itinerary. On November 29 at around 9 am at ***** Terminal 1, during check in, ***************, adamantly refused to check in my friend and we were informed that according to her, my friend doesn't fit the profile of a proper tourist or traveller to ***** and she according to her judgment, is an inappropriate traveller for Qatar Airways. The reason she said is that he doesnt have a travel history! We really do not understand why having no travel history is an impediment for his check in. My friend is a business man and owns a business in *** and it is just now that he wants to enjoy the fruits of his labor. Thus, it was very insulting on our part that this was the reason why he was denied carriage. In the first place, the ******** Consulate in ***** has deemed him an appropriate traveller and thus they granted him a tourist e- **** which was shown to ***************. As they still wanted to proceed with their travel and not to lose more money on hotel bookings made, we decided to book with another Airlines (next day flight at 3 am). Qatar Airways replied that my friend didnt pass the ******** assesmnet or profiling but take note, again he was granted a ******** tourist ****.Review fromJacob A

1 starSHAMELESS AIRLINE!!!May 31, 2023 on a flight from *******, ********* to ****, Qatar, the plane did not have a gate, instead it parked in the air park and a ladder was brought to it and the passengers to climb down and enter a shuttle that took us to the airport. It was drizzling that morning. The steps did not quite reach in line with the plane exit, so there was a sudden step down. No warnings.As I stepped out the plane I fell to the floor and hurt my fingers that were bleeding and my left ankle twisted severely. Many passengers tried to help and I was able to get up and keep moving embarrassed.I went to the ** customer service at the airport and requested First Aid. The ambulatory first aid came over provided me ice, bandages, and took my report down in a paper. My ankles were swollen and they provided ambulatory service throughout my flight to *******. I signed the paper and they left. I had purchased an Emergency seat for $149. They told me because of my foot injury I could not sit on an exit row, so they moved me to another seat. They PROMISED me that the seat cost would be refunded due to the extenuating circumstances. I was asked to contact ****************.I contacted **************** and they didnt respond for almost 2 months. So I filed a complaint at BBB immediately ** responded here at BBB and said they would do it privately, deviously. After many months of supposed investigation I received their response. "We have spoken with both the crew members from flight QR663 and the crew who worked on your connecting flight from **** to *******, both sets of crew have confirmed that they do not have any knowledge of the incident and nor were they informed that you had sustained an injury. What a BIG LIE!!! 1. They have records that I was treated at the airport. 2. They have records that my seat was changed despite paying for Emergency. They just got out of refunding my ticket cost and providing a compensation to the customer. Awful Airline!
