1 starI booked a party for my business three weeks in advance. I ended up needing to cancel the event because no one could attend. I received an email from Bowlero saying I could make changes to my reservation up to 72hrs before the date of the event. I reached out to Bowlero via email 5 days before my event and said I wanted to cancel the event. I was told I could not do so based on their "terms and conditions". In the terms and conditions, it states that you must cancel 30 days before the event. My event was not booked 30 days in advance in the first place. I was told I could reschedule the event within the month of December. Its December the busiest month of the year. I cant reschedule. I just wanted a refund. I was told "sorry that's our policy. I am now out $1500.00. Totally ridiculous. It was a bowling reservation. Not an elaborate wedding or something. I am in shock that a big company like this would treat a customer so poorly. Cancelling a bowling reservation 5 days in advance should not have been a big deal. Instead, they choose to take advantage of the fine print and keep all my money. I would not send anyone to this business to spend their hard earned money. Total rip off!Review fromKaren J

THIS DUDE AT THE GOKARTS WAS SO RUDE. there was 7 of us. And they told us at the beginning it was fine and we could all go. Then this dude comes running up saying half of us need to get out because its only 6 people now apparently. And he was the one who told us 7. Not only did he yell at us multiple times, but he gave one group almost 7 minutes, and the other around 3 minutes. I paid $40 for my friends and I to do this and it is 100% not worth it for this kind of service. Idk what stick is up this dudes ***, but he needs a reality check.Bowlero Corp.

1 starHorrible customer service! Attempted to call the location on ******************* in *******, ** three times this evening to check lane availability and each call went to voicemail. I get that a venue may be busy on weekends, however I find ignoring customers phone call ms inexcusable. I work in customer service and when we are busy, we are trained to answer calls, excusing ourselves from in-person customers for the minute it will take to speak to the caller, and inform the caller, politely, that we will take their name and number and call them back as soon as we can. Then we do that thing! NO excuse for lack of service and ignoring customers. Train your staff. We went to a different brand to bowl tonight.Review fromJake W

1 starMy fianc and I have a cleaning business, we were contracted through Bowlero to clean one of their locations. We were also promised another location, but they went back on their word. We worked 7 days a week. After going two months WITHOUT pay, and reaching out to the ** and getting no response, we went to his boss and still received no response, and after going to higher-*** within the company to figure out what was going on with our pay for work already completed, we were let go. Horrible business practices.Review fromLisa D

1 starPigs get slaughtered, Bowlero!!! Your slimy tactics and outrageous prices will be your downfall. Just paid $240 for one lane 4 bowlers and 1.5 hours. I would have refused to pay that and left but didn't want to disappoint the kids. Arcade games at $10 per game, mandatory $15/person food and drink fee (even if you can't eat their food). I made the mistake of patronizing this business once, but will NEVER do it again. If everyone else would do the same, these greedy corporations wouldn't survive.Review fromTaylor W

Bowlero has ruined bowling. At the Bowlero in ********* ** it costs $265 to book 1 lane for an hour for 2 bowlers. They automatically charge $80 for a food and beverage fee up front. Its unaffordable and on top of that the staff is always extremely rude. I was in the local bowling league for 3 years and bowled every weekend. Bowlero has ruined that.Bowlero Corp.

Thank you for reaching out ******. The food credit is added to any lane reservations scheduled during our Prime Time slots (i.e. - Fridays after 5 PM and all day on Saturdays). The amount is given to the guests in the form of a gift card when they check in. The credited amount may then be spent during that visit or saved for a future visit. Any time slots that are considered Prime Time are labeled in the system when making the reservation online and additional information is displayed on the bottom of the screen providing more details. If you would like to bowl without being charged the food credit, please select a reservation outside of the Prime Time slots for the center. The food and beverage credit also does not apply to our walk-in guests who bowl without a reservation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our ************* Team at *************************************** and we will be happy to assist you.Review fromSara B

Totally unacceptable customer service today. I waited at the prize area with my kids for almost 30 minutes while the staff was was sending someone over to open the gate. There was only one person assigned to run laser tag and run the prize redemption area. Staff acted like it was my problem and I would just have to wait. Since we spent over $100 on points, it seems that Bowlero is more than willing to take our dollars but feels no need yo provide any type of customer service. How are you running an arcade without staffing your prize area? This is totally unacceptable and we will never be back.Bowlero Corp.

This place is terrible. The staff is great but I dont know how they put up with corporates bad practices. I went to Bowlero in ***************, ** and besides the outrageous prices to bowl at 12 oclock in the afternoon ($11.69 + tax per game) there are hidden fees added to food and drink orders. When I brought this up to the manager, she stated she was unable to remove the charge and stated it was gratuity for the order takers. While this is not a problem, it is a problem when not printed for me to read beforehand so I can make an informed decision. Secondly these places are not run by people with bowling expertise. This Im able to determine because the approaches and siting areas are filthy. Causing shoes to be extra slippery and bowlers to slip and slide. I have yet to watch an employee go by with a push broom before league play and sweep the approaches or common areas. Fortunately I have to bowl in only two of these facilitates but I think the state tournament is in one of these facilities and has me worried. This is terrible business practice and it only works this way from terrible leadership. I envy the professional bowlers who bowl in these facilities across the nation but everything is top notch at those locations. Why should we who pay these outrageous prices receive less service?Bowlero Corp.

1 starSignage regarding pricing is deceptive. Reading their pricing signage from the counter is practically impossible to read as whats written in a very tiny circle reads game cost per person yet the bold pricing only references PER GAME. The cashiers DO NOT inform customers ahead of time that the pricing is PER PERSON for the games. When asked to pay way over what is visibly advertised, the staff manager and the cashiers repeatedly informed me that corporate office as well as their GM is fully aware that the pricing is misleading since multiple customers have complained to them about this confusing pricing issue due to improper signage which should be corrected ASAP considering how much money they make and can easily correct the problem instead of ignoring multiple customer complaints...Customers are put in a very unfortunate position, owing much more due to deceptive signage. Their advertisement at their ******* location is knowingly deceptive and unfair since they are aware the pricing is not clear to most customers, especially those who are not familiar with bowling costs ahead of time.Review fromHannah L

1 starThey advertise on their site a “Sunday Funday”. My family of 13 and I waited all day to attend their “Sunday Funday” in ***** ****** **. When we arrived, we were told there was no such deal. I am very confused and disappointed in this false advertising. The manager we spoke to was very rude about this. We should them the deal alone and asked why their company had false adversiting, the response was, “we really don’t know”. This is very wrong. If the company did not promote this “Sunday Funday”, we wouldn’t even be there and it’s wrong that we get an attitude for just asking about something on the site. Also, it is very wrong to make people wait all day for a special that didn’t exist. All I ask is that this company maintains correct promotions.
