      my wife *************************** was a long time member of MCU died 31 July '22, shortly after I submitted her death certificate along with my ******** drivers license to **********************. I was then directed by MCU that I needed to submit LOA (Letters of Administration) document. I then obtained an attorney and obtained the court documents (LOA) mentioned. I then submitted as directed by MCU at their *********** ******* ****** location that was approx 17 March '23. Since then I have only recieved the run around / nothing period. My calls get empty promises of more calls, my wife's MCU account has monies in it that I the spouse is entitled to by law.

      Municipal Credit Union - Loan #: **********.I have tried to contact MCU numerous times now and they have NOT returned my email messages or phone calls. On April 1, 2023 an incorrect 30 day past due payment/negative alert was filed by MCU on my credit report with the Experian, TransUnion and Equifax credit bureaus. I in fact paid off this account in March 2023 and it was marked closed in March 2023. I worked extremely hard to pay off this loan for it to come to this during my last payment and have never been late in all the years Ive had this account. I mailed my last payment to them in February 2023, before the 30 day deadline and the loan is now paid off - in full.MCU filed a "paid off" with the credit bureaus in March 1, 2023, But AFTER it was paid off AND closed, they then filed a 30 day past due on April 1, 2023 with the bureaus AFTER my account was already marked paid off. This is unfair and should be illegal. I am now closing on a home and this has ruined my credit history and my future plans which is unfair. I have always been responsible with my credit and my MCU account payments for nearly a decade and this negative report has severely impacted my credit score and life.

      On April 4, 2023, I summitted a letter of employment to MCU(municipal credit union) regarding SCRA (service members relief act) to lower my interest rate on an existing personal loan. I was contacted via telephone and the representative stated that they will not be honoring the benefit because the letter has no ending date. I procced to explain that this State Active duty mission has no ending date because it was an ongoing mission. They stated that they can't help me and that they will call me with a final resolution but they did not return the phone call.

      October 2020 I refinanced my vehicle with MCU and during the process requested GAP INSURANCE and was under the impression I had it. July 31, 2021 I had a car accident and then learned by September my vehicle was covered by the gap insurance I requested. I then filed a complaint with BBB in regards to this matter and ******************************* the Vice President of Retail Channels responded saying there was no paperwork showing I had GAP INSURANCE and I had to pay the remaining balance back, however, hed be happy to speak with my to resolve my account yet when I called and reached out to him he never answered or returned my calls after CCing *************************, the **** I recently sent a letter to ******************* asking that the late payments to my credit report be removed because Ive been with this company for years as well as took loans with them before and never had this issue. I also sent information detailing that my payments were late because Progressive which was my insurance company at the time sent me to their doctors who deemed there was nothing wrong with me and stopped my payments and I had to file arbitration because I had surgery on my spine. Throughout all of this I still managed to pay MCU back in full with me being out of work for seven months and undergoing surgery. Im appalled that I was told to reach out and when I did not one person contacted me back in regards to this matter. Seems like once I paid them that was all that mattered but the late payments on my report are affecting me and it was due to unforeseen circumstances and things I couldnt control.

      Good afternoon: I am complaining about the rude in unprofessionalism with MCU (Municipal Credit Union Bank)This is not the first time I am on hold for a least a hour. (When the message might say 10 mins.) My real issue is I was speaking to a customer service representative. about an alert I received and she (***** or *****) in term started talking to me about the amount I had in my account. Which I did not request or asked her. I then got angry. I know she was being a sarcastic saying you only have 1 dollar in some change anyway I ask to speak to her supervisor she transferred me to the fraud department who did not assist me either. Please help me with this continuous problem I am having with MCU.

      I contacted this bank on February 16, 2023 concerning two charges $407.84 on 02/09/23 and $22.38 02/12/23 that I needed to have disputed because I did not receive the merchandise. I was told the charges were placed into dispute. On 03/19/23 I checked my account and noticed I was charged $20 late fee and $4.13 interest charges on 03/17/23 for those two charges that were to be in dispute so I called the dispute department of this bank MCU and was told that they see the charges are in dispute but dont know why I was charged a late fee and interest charges. I then asked for the charges to be removed because the late fee is a negative affect on my credit report and it was not removed. Also the interest charge was not removed as well. I sent an email and I received no response to my email so at this point I need assistance with these charges being removed.

       On march 22, 2023 the company placed another late fee of $20 after refunding the late fee once bbb contacted them.  I advised them of this and still the refund was not done

      I have been banking with MCU for about 6 years now. I worked a city job and that was the go to bank for direct deposit. Its time I withdraw my money and business with a more professional bank like citi or chase. This "bank" "credit union, whatever you want to call it has charged me an excess of over $200 in "overdraft" fees in the past 3 months. I have screen shots of my account being in good standing and screen recordings of the amount changing from the initial dashboard to when you sign in (which is a deceptive practice). I am also going to file a complaint with the consumer financial protection bureau and have them take a look into it. People work too hard for them to snake you out of $32 unwarranted. It is even worse that it takes 2 hours to be able to get a human on the phone.

      I went to Municipal Credit Union located in the Bronx ********* *** on Saturday and spoke with ***************************. He entered my ssn incorrectly on my loan application causing me to get locked out of my account. Now Im unable to resolve this matter over the phone as I cant get an appointment right away near me and now this may be considered fraud. Every time I call MCU no one helps me with the account. MCU is reporting money to my credit bureaus, but no one will help me resolve the issue and the municipal credit union bank.

       I do live at the address the credit union have on file. I keep calling the credit union and they will not speak to me because I do not know that last transaction that was used on my card.
