    This business lacks transparency and communication. In a vulnerable position, I was sold on an offer too good to be true. A true understanding of what services will provided should be mandatory. A conversation with their team about a desired outcome should be mandatory. Their website says Our skilled legal team works diligently to negotiate and settle with creditors []; however, they are not a debt settlement company and wont offer up any negotiating until youre in a lawsuit. I was told I would have local legal representation for arbitration but later was told, I was on my own. I paid $6000 for paperwork. Before you pay them a dime, truly understand what they will do for you.

We acknowledge the emotional weight that legal and financial hardships can carry, and our goal has always been to support clients through these difficult circumstances with transparency and diligence.

    Upon review, the client enrolled in our legal services program with the understanding that our firm provides legal support in disputing and resolving matters related to unsecured debt. Our website accurately reflects this, stating: "Our skilled legal team works diligently to negotiate and settle with creditors"a process that often begins with validation of the debt and may escalate to negotiations or litigation defense if the account is pursued through legal channels.

    We disclosed that we are not a traditional debt settlement company during the onboarding process and expressly outlined this distinction in the legal agreement the client signed. We detailed the scope and nature of our legal services in the agreement to ensure complete transparency and informed consent before enrollment.

    The client's dissatisfaction stems from a misunderstanding of the nature and scope of legal services rendered, particularly around arbitration and local representation. It is essential to note that the arbitration clause in her creditor agreement did not permit representation by local counsel at the preliminary stage of the proceedings. Nonetheless, we provided her with a detailed walkthrough and legal preparation to help her navigate the process confidently.

    The client was granted a partial refund as a good-faith resolution,
    We reviewed her file and identified brief administrative delays. We promptly addressed these matters to ensure continued progress on the client's case.

    We spoke with the client on July 16, 2025, and our legal representative thoroughly reviewed the services rendered, communications sent (both email and SMS), and outlined the basis for the refund amount offered. While the client remained frustrated and expressed that the court experience was distressing, we informed her in advance that local counsel would not attend. We reiterated this during our discussion, while also providing extensive preparatory materials to empower her for the appearance.

    We remain committed to resolving concerns in a professional and respectful manner. We are confident that the documentation of services provided reflects our good-faith efforts to support her within the boundaries of our service agreement, which included a discretionary refund as part of a broader resolution.

    If there is any further assistance we can provide, we remain open to continued dialogue in good faith. We take this matter seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to it.

    I spoke with **** and he was very kind and helpful. He took the time to answer the questions that he could. He took the time to reach out to the Team working with my account to let them know the questions I had and asked them to reach out to me once they were able to.     I initially hired *** for debt relief services. I then experienced unexpected hardship in my life which I shared with them. They were sympathetic to my situation and offered a solution. I did not expect this from them and it actually made me feel that I could get through this unplanned crisis. I thank God for CLG.
