My daughter went to Schweiger dermatology for a wart on her finger. She was seen for 2 minutes, and we were told to buy compound w bandaids and apply them for a week or two, then to come back. After doing so, the PA put liquid nitrogen on it, and that was the extent of everything done. 10 minutes in total across two visits. Imagine my surprise when I received a $750 bill for a 44 minute appointment and surgery. I've spent the past 6 months calling their billing department and leaving voicemails because no one ever answers. Yet I keep receiving bills in the mail, threatening to send them to collections.I have no problem paying for services rendered to me, but this bill is insane. And the fact that it is impossible to reach anyone is worse.

Was sent a $250 bill for a 5 minute consultation visit billed ***** min visit where I was prescribed a "$10 prescription" that cost $75 per month and was never called back after leaving 3 messages for assistance. The prescription was abandoned due to lack of support. When my claim was disputed for the bill that was not covered by insurance despite their office claims it would be, I was told they "looked at their records and this cost is valid" even though I was told AGAIN that someone would contact me in the next few days I was just rebilled.I want to either have the charges drop for no services rendered or at least just pay the copay I was promised by the front desk / office.

Saw an in-network provider under my insurance (BCBS of MA) - *************************************** at ******** *** location. Received prior confirmation from the business as in-network. Schweiger then billed two different visits as out of network and when I reached out to billing **** multiple times over the past month to fix this they keep claiming they are working on this and never have fixed this. In order to get paid all past and future claims need to be re-processed as in network.

On 5/3/22, I came in for an annual skin screening covered by my insurance at the Broadway location to see *************************, PAC. At the beginning of the appointment, I asked the ** to also look at a ********* on my nose. She confirmed it was just a blemish based on a visual review and asked if I wanted her to pop it. I said yes and she never once mentioned an associated charge. Then after popping the pimple, she said she was too busy to do the skin check and I should come back another time. It was not even a 15 minute appointment yet she did not have time to do the skin check I came in for. Then I was billed $300 for "acne surgery" and $150 for the doctor visit which should have been a covered routine skin check. I tried calling the billing company several times to explain the situation and ask for an adjustment, but no adjustment was made. It has been impossible to get the business office on the phone. I would like someone to contact me and tell me how they can charge $300 to pop 1 pimple, a procedure I could do in 30 seconds in my own bathroom. Such an incredibly unpleasant experience that I hope they rectify.

I was at schweiger dermatology in ******* on 09/21/2022 or at least that was the first bill I received for what I had ALREADY paid in person day of. That bill # is **********.The doctor was ok but everything else is almost criminally negligent. I tried for 4 MONTHS to get to speak to the doctor that had treated me about a MEDICAL question. It is IMPOSSIBLE to call the doctors office directly, imagine that !!!!! It always goes to a central number where nobody has a clue and they make vague promises that someone will call back. After attempting this 5 times and getting one nurse calling me once in the middle of a class I was instructing I never heard from them EVER again!! On top of all this they keep sending me bills claiming I either owe them $300 or $50 depending on the day/person on the phone I spoke to. I asked them (also 5 times) to explain to. me a) if it was $50 or $300 and b) WHY I even owed them money since I paid $250 at the office day of. NO ANSWER EVER, JUST MORE INEXPLICABLE BILLS. Sometimes saying I owe $50 sometimes $300. Just now checked and on their official billing page it says I owe then $300 again!! They cannot even make up their mind. I also have texts saying I owe them $50 fir the same procedure ( was only there once)On the billing page (included below) when you press ******************* happens.

      Hi ******-

We are sorry to hear there is some confusion around your bill. The provider explained during your appointment the amount you would be charged and the procedures being performed, in addition you signed an Informed Consent form, however we are happy to write off your balance this time as a courtesy.

Just to be clear  They are dropping any claim against me. I would however hope that they do not simply walk away from this, and that you will make them accountable for the fact that they literally wrote me two different emails with the exact same procedure number. Once for $50 and then another email with the exact same procedure number and suddenly the charge was $550!! This is straight up criminal behavior and they should pay!

      Thank you!

My daughter was seen at schweiger dermatology on 6/22/2022. She has a ROUTINE biopsy done. Schweiger's office billed it as non routine. I have asked them 7 times to have it re-billed as routine. They always agree to have it re-billed, but never actually do it. We are now receiving collection notices for $84.68 from Labcorp.

I paid for a cosmetic procedure performed by ****************************** through Schweiger Dermatology Group for $300 out of pocket. She tried to increase the **** to $400. When I said I wouldn't pay beyond what I was quoted, reception conferred with her and agreed on the $300. Unbeknownst to me until I received a **** for a copay, they billed my insurance company for not 1 but 2 separate visits on the same day. They then billed me for 2 copays totaling $80. When I called about that, they quickly deleted the copay charge. However, my insurance paid them $272 for my visit. *********** is claiming she also performed a medical procedure which she did not. She fraudulently billed my insurance for services never performed. I have called more than 10 times starting with the office manager ******* at the ****************** Then ***** in local billing. Then to the 888 # (I have dates and times and calls may be recorded). I have asked of the head of billing to call me (which may be ***** in the local office), and they refuse to call and continue to say the issue has been reviewed that there was a medical procedure performed which is a lie. I owe them $50 copay for a visit on 12/12/21 which I don't want to pay until they resolve this issue.
