There was an app on the Apple Store called ****** which was a survey app that collected data and offer rewards in form of gift cards. Over the last year or so there has been an major issue with the app. Apparently some users online have reported that it was removed. My main concern is that the app is still running and functional on the users device. Every so often we still get notifications about surveys and once in a while I still filled them out thinking there wasnt any issues. Every time I use the app it looks like none of the rewards are available to redeem. It has been like this for months maybe even longer. I tried reaching out to support through there support ticket system in the past, but it ended up disappearing months later with no response. Im am certain that many users besides myself would like to be informed what is going on with the app? We were never informed of any updates or closures if that was planned. At times there were bugs within the app stating they were under maintenance, but currently everything seems to be operating well. Personally I would like the company to let everyone know if the service will no longer be provided because it comes off as misleading or a scam.Initial Complaint

I had been using Perksy successfully in the past. They deal is to answer surveys for points and you could cash the points in for a gift card. Well, every time I go to cash out my 5k+ points for a gift card, it doesnt work and says hmmmsomething went wrong. This is nothing but a scam now. I have reached out to them on multiple platforms, e-mail and directly from app. No one will even respond. Super sketchy!Initial Complaint

This app is now a scam! I was able to cash out with the surveys previously but it has been months since I have received the promised payment. *** tried to contact via FB, the app, email, and Instagram to no avail. Perksy sends out surveys called stacks. As you complete a stack, you accumulate points, the points can be redeemed for gift cards. The company still sends out stacks, you will receive error messages if you try to redeem the points for a gift card. You get a message that says whoops something went wrong over and over again. I have points totaling over ****, that can be used to purchase a gift card for $50.I would like to be able to cash in the points for a $50 Amazon card. But again, each time I am denied, and sent an error message.In the past, I h ave been able to redeem the points for gift cards. As early as yesterday, I received another stack to complete, I still am unable to redeem points.The company needs to honor their agreement and allow people to redeem their points! Perksy is a company that partners with companies that are looking to request feedback and insights into their business, ads, or products in the form of surveys. Perksy then uses data collected via a user profile to match users with the right companies for feedback. After completion of the surveys, users gain points to exchange for gift cards.For the past 6 months, the redemption services have been down on their platform but I, along with other users, are still being asked to complete surveys for points. This essentially means that we are not able to receive the compensation for the work that we are doing for these companies, while Perksy is getting paid by the company to use their platform. I for one have reached out multiple times to their support via email and in-app chat and have not heard back. Other users are also frustrated with this, as we are wanting payment for our services. Perksy has an app that they have advertised as being an app that sends out alerts for you to complete small short surveys for companies and brands through Perksy and receive points for each survey that can then be redeemed for gift cards. I have been a user of ******************** for a couple of years now and have even redeemed my points for gift cards before. Perksy has a $25 minimum to cash out. In early December I realized I finally had enough points to redeem for a $25 gift card and I hit redeem. The app states something is wrong please try again over and over again. Thinking initially this was an app error of sorts, I deleted the app and redownloaded it and signed in, only to discover the same problem. That same day I contacted Perksy through the app and explained the situation and that I was hoping they would be able to help. Approximately a week later I checked back in because I had not received a message back. I messaged once again, one more week going by with no results. I then searched for them on ******* and reached out to their support/technical page and also their main Perksy ******* account. Weeks and now months have gone by and I have contacted them through their app, *******, Instagram and have even recently contacted them through email on their website that I am assuming is for brands to contact them which also, is something interesting because between now and December I have received numerous surveys to complete and I have of course not completed those. But this further proves that they are accepting surveys and deals from brands and companies to pass these surveys onto their users and not compensate or respond to their demands for compensation or answers. It has come to my attention also that this exact thing is happening to other users. So Perksy, Where are our gift cards? And why are you continuing to accept deals from big brands and corporations while not paying your users that are providing you these results from surveys? We demand answers.Customer Answer

The app sends people surveys and in return people get points that can be redeemed for cash. For the last 2 months, I have been trying to redeem my points worth CAD 25 and the app does not allow me, I have sent multiple emails, support messages and tweets to the Perksy support and there has been absolutely no response. This is a market research app that pays its users via gift cards for accumulated points. They have been ignoring their user for months and not allowing anyone to cash out. I have been reaching out to their customer support for weeks with zero reply back from them. They have collected our data and continue to send out stacks, which are their research projects, but refuse to answer anyones support tickets or pay out anyone. I want the money I have earned so I can delete their app and be done with them. They need to pay their users what we have earned! Its shady and disgusting behavior from a business that once upon a time was great.Customer Answer
