I have been a loyal user of this app and never had any issues before. I was sent surveys, if I qualified I completed them, and then I would be rewarded points. This is aspect of the app is still working. However now you are unable to redeem the points for gift cards. You get an error message saying "hmmm try again, something went wrong". I reached out to customer service and have received no response. When you ****** the business there is no news of it being defunct or shutting down. Its literally all praise press to the founder of the company. If they did shut down, that's fine, but why on earth am I still getting new surveys? we are supposed to be compensated for our time to take the survey, and let me tell you it takes awhile to build up enough points to actually be able to redeem a gift card, so I spent a good amount of time giving these companies the answers they wanted. The irresponsibility and greediness of ********************* is insane. I am not one to easily trash a woman entrepreneur, I know how difficult it can be to succeed in a male dominated industry, but come on. Taking money from companies to get their surveys answered, but not distributing the points to your loyal account holders is bad business practices. They think that eventually the account holders will take a hint and leave the platform, allowing the business to die out naturally, without any bad press, but this is predatory. Please at least distribute the rewards for your remaining users and then close down. I know its bad press for ********************* but if she cared about her customers she would do the right thing.Initial Complaint

This company allows you to gain points for doing surveys. They have not been paying out when you try to cash out for at least a year. I have 55$ that I am unable to cash out due to this. They do not reply when you contact them, I have contacted them at least 4 times with no response. They owe a lot of people money and they continue to send surveys knowing they wont pay out.Customer Answer

I have been completing surveys on the Perksy app for a few years now, and continue to receive surveys regularly, as recently as three days ago (Apr 21). I have the equivalent of $64.91 in points, and when I went to redeem my points for a gift card I noticed there was an issue completing the transaction. It seems that Perksy may no longer be in business, however they are actively sending out surveys and receiving responses from me taking up a portion of my time, for what should be in exchange for these gift cards. I have never received a notification that Perksy will no longer be issuing gift cards, that they were shutting down, etc. and most importantly they are actively issuing consumer research surveys to me but I do not have access to the compensation I am owed (about $65).No one is responding on their customer service chat. You can see from the attachments how recently I've completed these surveys (there is not a library of surveys to choose from; the app issues a notification when a new one is available and you only have about 24h to complete it.)Customer Answer

They dont pay out after you reach the points you need, the app is gone from the App Store, it might be an abandoned app. The founder of the app is ignoring everyone after saying shes working on it. They owe a lot of people and they still offer surveys and still collect $ from the consumers end, but dont pay the consumers of the app. Its been months and months and months and people really want what theyve earned. Perksy is an app that allows you to take consumer surveys and then gain perks for completing them. These perks can be redeemed for gift cards. Over the last few months, they have continued to send surveys through the app and you can gain more perks from them, but there is an error when you try to cash them in for gift cards. I have contacted customer service with no response. According to forums online, this is a site wide issue and no one has been able to get any answers from customer service. I currently have enough points to redeem $54 worth of gift cards. I spent a lot of time accumulating those points and completed surveys as agreed and now I cant redeem any of those. I want to redeem the points that I earned. By using this app and completing the surveys I was promised these gift cards. Now I am getting nothing and unable to get a response from any representative.Customer Answer

Perksy is in the app where you can do surveys to get points in order to redeem gift cards. I currently have ***** points and cannot redeem anything for over 2 years. All this time I spent on this app was wasted. I could have gotten at least 2-3 gift cards. At this point, the company Perksy is just stealing people's information and not giving any rewards. This app is not on the App Store just so you know, I downloaded this app before they withdrew from the App Store.Customer Answer

Perksys app sends out alerts to you to complete small short surveys for companies and brands through Perksy and receive points for each survey that can then be redeemed for gift cards. I have been a user of this app for a couple of years and have redeemed my points for gift cards previously. In early Dec. of 2022 I had enough points to redeem for a $25 gift card and went to do so. I kept getting an error message saying Hmm, try again. Something went wrong! I had the same issue back in August of 2021 which was taken care of after a few attempts in contacting customer service through the app. I waited awhile thinking it was whatever issue occurred the year before. After several attempts in cashing out failed, I reached out through their app to contact customer service on 01/22/23, 01/31/23, 02/07/23 & 02/14/23. No response from the company on the app or any other form of communication. I then searched for Perksy on social media sites and found that the owner of the company wanted people to DM her on ******* or Instagram for customer service. So I messaged her in Instagram on 03/04/23 and after I was liking other peoples comments about how Perksy is a scam and shes a thief, I suddenly received a response from ***** Hi there! I just wanted to follow up and let you know that I can have a time estimate for you next week. Ill have an update on when payouts are dropping and the perkstore is back live! Weve figured out the problem and are moving fast on executing on the solution of relaunching the perkstore. Everyone will get paid and the app will resume as normal! Im so sorry for the inconvenience its caused you - were a really small team and weve been working to figure it out. Im relieved that a solution is coming soon!If you need me you can email me at ********************************* as I am not often on Instagram. I then emailed her on 03/22/23 & 04/10/23 and have yet to receive a response. She is ACTIVELY scamming people to this day as I am still receiving surveys.Customer Answer

Hi - Perksy is a research company that uses it's app "getperksy" to get people's opinion about brands and current topics via surveys and 1:1 interviews. I have participated in these in the last year and have accumulated enough rewards to cash out into gift cards. However, their app won't let you redeem and it keeps erroring out. I have sent many emails, ******* messages, and in-app help tickets, but their customer support is pretty much non-existent. They responded last year (after so many messages) to say they are having tech issues and are close to a resolution. It's been 7 months and there's no one responding to provide any updates or acknowledge what's going on despite so many follow-**** Moreover, they continue to send surveys, so clearly they are still in business. I am filing a complaint demanding a response from them and action around paying the promised reward for participating in their research. ****Customer Answer

Perksy keeps sending me notifications that I have stacks available - this is where they provide us surveys from companies to collect data. We get small amounts of points per survey to redeem for multiple different types of gift cards when we get to certain landmarks like **** points = $25 dollars, **** = $50, and so on. Needless to say its taken me MONTHS to get to almost **** points, almost 90 dollars worth of gift cards. Now we get error messages if we try to redeem our points for anything, yet they keep asking for us to complete surveys. Havent been able to redeem for months, along with all other users. The *** of the company has went mute on her social media accounts, Perksys social media accounts are silent, comments are turned off on their most recent post because of all the comments demanding they give us our money. They wont reply to in-app service requests/questions or through email/their website. None of us are getting answers as to why they suddenly went silent and wont give us the money they owe us (even in the form of gift cards - it takes a very long time to rack up that many points and the whole time theyve been collecting our data for free, essentially, because we cant cash out).Customer Answer
