    I've used Sesame 2x and had great experiences both times. I work full time and love that I can schedule appointments after hours and on weekends. I also love how affordable it is. Obviously you can't get all medical services here however I love that when I have minor issues that need medical attention I can schedule appointments on my own time and at a low cost. You are really bridging a gap in healthcare and I appreciate it!

    I just had a horrible experience today. I made my appointment for 12:45. I was prompted to login 15 minutes early to test the video setup, which I did. The provider did not show up. At 12:45 I started trying to look up what to do on the website. They want us to wait 20 minutes past the appointment time for the doctor to show. Since they made us wait 15 minutes ahead of time, that's 35 minutes that I had to spend waiting on a service that never happened. I went to online chat to request an immediate reassignment or refund. They told me I had to wait another 20 minutes before a refund to be issued, in order to wait for doctor's notes!!!! What notes can a doctor who never showed up possibly provide about my care? All told I lost 55 minutes of my day for absolutely no reason whatsoever. And, to add insult to injury, the online chat agent was rude and unhelpful. She disconnected the chat twice, on the pretense that "my question was answered". It was not. I was protesting the fact that they were trying to make me waste even more time trying to obtain a refund, and she didn't want to hear my objection so she just closed the chat. Twice. The refund should have been automatic in the event of a doctor no-show.I strongly urge others to use a different provider. I've used teladoc in the past with no issues - but Sesame is terrible.

As with all patients, your health is of the utmost importance. We do our best to make sure every provider who offers services on our site attends each appointment. We share this feedback with our providers and monitor attendance closely. We ask that patients join their visits early to ensure any technical issues can be addressed - they are not required to join 15 minutes ahead of time. We typically allow providers up to 20 minutes from the scheduled end of a telehealth visit to document it and/or flag any issues (technical problems, medical emergencies, etc.). We can confirm that your order was refunded and we would be happy to help you connect with another provider if needed.We aim to keep every patient interaction positive and should always lead with empathy. Please know that we do not take this lightly. We will review the chat logs to understand what happened and take corrective measures. We value your feedback and we appreciate the opportunity to improve our services. Our Customer Support team management has followed up with you directly.

    Unfortunately just had a bad experience with Sesame care Dr. *** 15 minute video visit turned out to be a two minute phone call ten minutes earlier than scheduled, Dr. called in prescription to CVS pharmacy and it turned out this medication was not covered by ****************** so prohibitively expensive. CVS sent email to him and he did not respond. Called Sesame and they said he did not need to respond. So, if they call in a prescription that needs an authorization you wont get it. Loss of $70, got nothing for it. Do not recommend.

    I honestly don't know what we would have done had it not been for Sesame! ***************************** was our provider and on one of our appointments my son had an abscessed tooth and it was extremely infected. No insurance and it was a Saturday. So I called and got him an appointment within an hour. She immediately put him on antibiotics and checked up on him later. *********** said this could have been life threatening because the infection was so bad. So our choice to use Sesame was smart considering the other option was the emergency room for $3,000. I think people who complained were expecting things like pain meds.

    Never got my prescription. Needed antibiotics for an infection. Met with Dr. for video call. She said she sent the prescription to my pharmacy on the call. 3 days later its not there. Ive called the customer service twice and they said they would have her resend it. Now I have to go to another ************

    I entered SESAME20 at my checkout to get $20 discount. I did not receive this disount. The "customer help person" assumed I did not click "Apply" and gave me a $8 refund. I INFORMED THIS "PERSON" THAT I EXPECTED A FULL REFUND OF $20. THIS IS A SHAMEFUL TRICK TO SAVE A FEW BUCKS. I WILL NOT USE THIS WEBSITE AGAIN, AND WILL WRITE A POOR REVIEW TO EXPOSE THIS BUSINESS TRICK. I NEVER WOULD HAVE USED SESAMECARE.COM BUT FOR THIS $20 DISCOUNT PROMISE. WHAT A SCAM.... They solicited a review from me, and I entered my complaint text.... I KEEP CLICKING "UPDATE" BELOW the text BUT THAT ****** IS NOT WORKING.... MORE SCAMS....

    They started in 2018, and are obviously still working out the kinks. Every problem I've had they solved beyond my expectations.
    I lost my health insurance in January (2022). I have some chronic conditions that need regular monitoring. I was desperately looking for something to help out with medical costs. While looking at discount RX plans, I happened upon Sesame Care. After looking at their website, I finally had hope. I was skeptical, but paid the premium membership ($99/year) because I have to get blood work four times a year. It would save me the membership price after a couple of appointments.
    My first appointment for a prescription refill was disappointing, but I knew it could just be the personality of the provider. They didn't want to discuss anything. They just wanted to confirm my information and order refills and get off the phone.
    I decided to give it another chance. The second provider (**) was much more personable and talked to me long enough for me to know she was knowledgeable. And it was only $14 for the appointment ($34 without premium).
    Early on, I had technical difficulties so missed an appointment. I called customer service about it, and they gave me some tips and refunded the appointment. They said they couldn't do it if it happened again. That's understandable. I think the labs only cost $12 or something. So affordable!
    There have been some problems with getting labs lately, and I contacted customer service about it. I was unable to get my free lab (you get one a year with premium). They refunded me half my premium membership price, while keeping me on the premium membership, and apologized for the mix-up. Wow! I would give 5 stars when they get the kinks worked out. I recommend, highly.

    Schedule a call for a B12 shot refill. Two minute call with the doctor to be told that they do not provide any type of shot and I should seek other provider. After asking for a refund through support I was told that the appointment happened, therefore I will be charged. Pretty much a scam with zero concern for the patient.

    I did not have a good experience with this company. I have left two reviews in my life. This one and one on ********** concerning this same company. I had high hopes with Sesame however things went downhill fast. The Doctor ************** is strange. I hope he really is a doctor. He actually works in a law office. I looked him up. First appointment I watched him cover up the camera with a piece of paper ( I signed in early) and he said something was wrong with his camera. Kinda odd. I dont like being on camera either soHe did give out his cell number which I found interesting and said to follow up by texting him but after days of trying because of a drug reaction he called me around 8pm one evening. Thats pretty nice but also kinda different. He said he would send in a new script but never did and never did respond to my attempts to reach him after that. I offered to pay again if need be but nothing. Sesame was made aware of the problem and never really did anything. I told them something must be going on in ************** life that prevented him from responding. Never got any real help from Sesame. They did contact me by email but nothing came of it. Sesame claims that they send an email where you can write a review of the Doctor. This is Not true. You cant leave feedback on your experience anywhere on their site. Very disappointing experience. Sesame is a good idea but they have bad follow through and dont hold their physicians accountable. A week and a half later and they still havent sent scripts to a different pharmacy because they couldnt fill them. One is a heart medication. Wow

    they are great. i payed for the membership i think 20 $ and now my visits are 17$ for prescription refills. i get to see a picture and credentials for each medical officer. then i just click schedule and see them half hour later. very clear video and audio. other telehealth platforms do not work nearly as well as this one
