I purchased tickets for the Green *** pub crawls event on March 2nd 2023. Upon arriving to the event, after booking a hotel and travel arrangements, at ************* Pub, the listed meeting spot for this bar crawl, there was no place to check in to the event or get the promised wristbands and digital map. When speaking to the bartenders, they had no knowledge of this event or any information that went along with it.Business Response

There is no action being taken by the company. If they truly feel sorry for my experience then they would offer something in return for my time and money wasted. I purchased tickets to the ******* Santacon event which advertised many incentives including, but not limited to, discounted drinks (up to 50% off) and free entry. I showed up to the designated meet up spot and no representative from Pub Crawl was present to distribute maps or wrist bands. I spoke with the bartender who informed me this company has been advertising this and it is in fact a scam. In fact, the incentives they were advertising (discounted drinks) are illegal in ************** per *** Rule 2S.0232 (b) which states "Free or reduced drinks under this provision shall be offered to all customers, not just a segment of the population". I have tried contacting the Business and spoke with *** @ ************ who said he would get me in contact with someone to issue a refund. He has since stopped answering my calls or responding to my texts. This is a scam.Business Response

On October 22, 2022 I purchased 2 tickets to the Fenway Halloweekend Hangover Pub Crawl for a total of $53.24. The ticket details guaranteed specific details such as free entry into bars, welcome drinks, discounted drinks, photos, etc. We arrived at the check in venue on the date of the event (10/29/22) in ******, ** to find out the pub crawl was not real. They did hand us a wristband, but it was ultimately meaningless. The bars had no knowledge of any of this, including the bar crawl itself, so it was just a fake wristband and myself and hundreds of others got scammed out of our money. I reached out to the venue to get a refund for this and explained what happened, and, of course did not receive a response- since the even was fake. I would like a refund on this.Business Response

We completely understand that the event isn't what you expected, but we have it clearly stated on our website and tickets we have a no refund policy. We also state on every ticket that venues and specials are always subject to change. However, in ****** although you did no have a great experience, we did run an event and many other guests did receive full services such as specials and more. We care about our customers and what we would like to do is offer you free tickets to a future event, doubling your order. I spoke to hundreds of people on the streets of ****** on halloween who were also scammed. they gave us lime green wrist bands that were not for anything. Every person we spoke to said they were also scammed by this business. They have a no refund policy because it was a scam- at least the tickets myself and many other groups we spoke to bought, were a scam. I do not want more tickets to an event, we just want the money back. Pubcrawls.com is not being honest in the statement they responded with.

I purchased tickets to the Halloween Pub Crawl on October 31st. When I arrived to the check-in venue, an employee of the restaurant told me that the Pub Crawl employee who was giving out wristbands had left. They were supposed to stay until 11 PM and I arrived between 8:30 and 9 PM. I contacted the organizers of Pub Crawls and asked for a refund and I was told that I could not get a refund because they have a no-refund policy, but it's unfair fair that I purchased a ticket and wasn't given a wristband because the employee decided to leave early. Halloweekend Hangover Bar Crawl ********* promoted through Eventbrite on October 29, 2022 purchased for $36.47 with checkin being from 3-8pm. The host left prior to 7:30pm and made it impossible to acquire wristbands or pubcrawl map. I have contacted them through Eventbrite twice, no response. I requested a refund through Eventbrite and was also denied. This promoter did not send out additional information stating check in would be limited hours, postponed, cancelled or otherwise change.
