Someone created a fake account and purchased tickets for a game in ********. I live in ********! I called my bank immediately to advise of the fraudulent charge and they were able to help me reverse the charge. I called viagogo customer service and they are not removing or blocking the account. They are literally doing nothing to help and I feel like they are protecting the fraudster over me, the victim! Terrible company! You've been warned - DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THIS COMPANY! I bought tickets on Viagogo on January 20th for a March 7th event.This was something we travelled for and spend money to go to, and less than an hour to the event, their support said the tickets are not available and they can only refund ***** this was a lot more money than just the tickets, I want to take legal action.Customer Answer

I purchased baseball tickets from this company for a game in *****. Upon completion of the purchase it was learned that the tickets were not able to be delivered physically or electronically to me in a timely manner. I purchased tickets to a soccer game through Viagogo, and during the 10-minute window in which the system gave me access to pay for the tickets, I indicated my first and last name, and address. I checked to see if there was information on how the tickets would be delivered and what fees might be associated with the purchase, and it did not give me detailed information. The only reason why I went through with the purchase is because I had seen that many fans for the club had to purchase tickets this way because the site for the club routinely had technical issues, which it did today for me (thus not allowing me to purchase tickets directly though the club).The website told me that I was purchasing two tickets for 520 Euros plus fees. It did not tell me how much the fees would be, and once I clicked submit order, I found out that the fees were ****** Euros, which is more than 81% of the cost of one ticket. The confirmation email also used my previous married name (that I had not used during purchase) and said that my tickets would be mailed to an address that I had not indicated was my shipping address. I called Viagogo to ask about the fees and my shipping address, and four or five of their employees hung up on me (despite me calmly asking questions). I asked for a refund and to speak with a supervisor, and those first four agents I spoke to would not transfer me or speak to a supervisor. Finally, the fifth agent did transfer me to a supervisor, and despite me explaining that it is against consumer trade laws to charge consumers a fee without telling them how much the fees would be, she said there was nothing she could do to help with how high the fees were and how the system did not tell me how much I would pay in fees. She checked to make sure my address had been updated in the system, but could not guarantee the tickets would be sent to me there. I am appalled by how ********* this business' customer service is, please help.Customer Answer

At this time, I have not been contacted by Viagogo regarding complaint ID ********. I received what seems to be an automated email refunding 5.30 Euros of the more than 200 Euros that I paid in fees, but this came with no explanation for the inappropriately small size of the refund. The manager I was finally able to speak with on the phone had explained that the fees were as high as they were because the tickets would need to be shipped internationally to me. A few days later, Viagogo indicated to me that I would need to meet with someone in ****** to pick up the tickets instead. Considering that the tickets were not sent internationally (or at all), I should be refunded significantly more from the price I paid in fees.

**Subject:** Urgent Complaint Regarding Missing Order and Payment Deduction I am writing regarding a dispute I raised their last month, which remains unresolved. I was assured by Viagogo that the event was scheduled as advertised, despite conflicting reports from other attendees about a potential rescheduling. On the day of the event, February 28, I confirmed with Viagogo, and they assured me that the show would proceed.I traveled over four hours from ********, IN, to **********, **, only to be informed upon arrival that the event was rescheduled to March 11, 2024. Viagogo never notified me of this change. After multiple attempts to contact Viagogo for clarification and a refund, I have received no response.Upon further investigation, I discovered the event was organized by another entity, All Events, and their contact details were shared by a different ticket seller. On August 21st, 2024 I purchased 2 tickets to see Oasis in ********* ******** through the Viagogo website for $1,827.77 USD. I waited 6 months for my tickets to arrive checking my email periodically. Now that the concert is 6 months away and I still need to secure travel and accommodations in ******** I reached out to Viagogo to see what the hold up was on the tickets. I spent hours on the phone with them and no one was able to locate my purchase, despite showing them my credit card statement and sending a screenshot with the amount charged from their Company. I purchased tickets on my US VIAGOGO account and was charged in the wrong currency. Their website showed prices in USD and charged my card in CAD. This error caused a $310 foreign transaction fee to be assessed on my account. I attempted to resolve with both viagogo and my credit card company. Viagogo has refused to respond to any requests through their website even after receiving proof and screen shots that my account has USD listed as the default currency. I filed a claim with them asking for them to credit and rebill me in the correct currency which would cost them $0 to do and correct the problem. They refused.Customer Answer
