- Date: 11/16/2022 - Amount: $68.00 - Business Commitment: Parking services and security - Nature of dispute: I am a recurring parking lot customer weekly for the lot in question. I stopped to assit an elderly family member who uses a ****** and has ************* to my car. She was having a minor episode of psychosis and had gone missing until we found her here. The incident was from 7:00 PM till 7:10 PM. I parked at 7 PM, citation was written at 7:03, and I had my aunt back at my car at 7:10 PM. This *********** parking, getting out, and walking to the storefront next door, where I was able to get my aunt. Due to the brevity of the situation, I did not pay the $3 parking fee. In the 10 minutes it took to assist my aunt back to the car, they had written a ticket. They took advantage of an elderly woman who has Dementia. If I had stopped to pay the fee initially, who knows what would have happened to my aunt. I would have paid after the fact given the circumstances. This seems extremely predatory. - Entered dispute with business. Business gives 14 days to pay the fine. However, the appeals proccess often takes more than 14 days. This means by deafult you are penalized for submitting an appeal as the deadline for the payment passes before the appeal is approved or denied. This seems extremely predatory. - Citation #: ********Customer Answer

Date of transaction: Nov 13th, 2022 Cost of transaction: $50.00 Description: Parking here is stated on the website as $10.00 for up to 24 hours. We had parked on the 11th and stayed till the 13th. Being that it was less than 48 hours, we had expected a price of at most $20. However, the price came up as $50 instead. We were informed that we had parked on an unmarked "special event" night, and therefore two days of $25 was charged. The website, nor any form of signage at the garage indicates this "special event" parking price carries over into subsequent days. At the very most, we should have been charged $25 + $10 for the night of the "special event" and then the subsequent standard rate night. On top of this, we were verbally abused by the staff when inquiring about the pricing. Terrible experience.Initial Complaint

In August of this year I used ABMs valet parking at ***. When my family and I returned from our trip, we had spent the entire day traveling. My suburban was parked in a way that forced me to walk around the front to approach the attendant. The attendant quickly took my tip and specifically the valet stub when I approached. I loaded my family and our luggage and we went home. The next morning I noticed a large dent on the rear passenger side of my suburban. I searched for where I file a complaint/claim. Upon receipt of the claim I was informed that ABM has very small print on the valet stub (the attendant took) that protects them from being responsible for the damages. I filed a claim with ABM and they denied it. I requested mediation through the ******************************************* and they refused to take part. At the point that I was going to file a small claims lawsuit, I spoke to a friend who is an attorney and they advised not to because of the small print on their ticket. Suffice to say I dont anticipate this c*** company taking responsibility, but filing complaints and reviews about them I will do. Thus far it appears they already had a crappy reputation.Customer Answer

At this time, I have not been contacted by ABM Industries, Inc. regarding complaint ID ********.I dont, nor did I, expect a response from a company that cares zero for its customers and their customer service. The customers are the whole reason this is a successful business, its tremendously disheartening to see how far removed theyve become from providing any sort of care for the people who put food on their plate. What goes around comes around. I hope each person who negatively impacted my life has someone or something affect them in a similar manner.
Sincerely,

September 22,2022 13th ******************************************************* Good Day,Unauthorized charge on my debit card from AMB parking 9/22/22 payment amount that Ai authorize is $6.30 with this parking facility. I pulled up in the lot roughly about 10:48am I walked over to my place of business located across the street like always. There were no signs indicating that parking was 30,03 located around the parking lot while crossing the street at that time. I pay from my online account from my office computer.Everything meaning all my information is saved. I processed my payment as I normally do daily when I am at work. I received an email of a payment for $30.03 I begin calling the company I was not able to reach anyone. I left several messages for **************** who is the operation manager. She emailed back indicated it was special parking event. I was unaware and would never authorize such a charge as you can see from my transactions with AMB parking per my account. I is what I indicated via voicemail an email. I want the remainder of my money refunded back to my card minus $6.30 is what I authorize.Respectfully,***************************Customer Answer

I live in *******, **********. On May 17, 2022, I found a parking ticket on my vehicle from ABM Parking. I've been paying $250 a month for 10 years to park in the underground garage located in my apartment building, so I didn't understand why I received a ticket at all. I've never been behind on payments. The only description on the ticket was "Walk Off", which doesn't explain anything. I went to the website listed on the parking ticket and filed an appeal on May 19, 2022. The site said that it could take up to 60 days for the appeal to be processed, so I waited. It is now August 19, 2022 and I still haven't gotten a response to my online appeal. I called the customer service number listed on the ticket and was told "ABM is just a client of ours. We don't have any control over the tickets and we can't help you directly." The lady told me that I would need to write a letter (not an email) and send it to a ** Box in ******** and wait for a reply. I told her that I wanted to speak to a human to get this resolved today. She said that she didn't have any other contact information except for the ** Box. I searched the internet for phone numbers and finally got through to someone in sales... just to see if they could point me in the right place. After briefly explaining my issue, the gentleman told me (and I quote) "Yeah, ABM is horrible. We've been trying to get the higher-*** to give us a phone number for customer issues and they won't. This is a terrible company." He gave me the only phone number he had to some type of customer support in *******. I tried calling it about 20 times and it went directly to some woman's voice mail each time. So, now, I run the risk of having a $60 ticket turned over to collections and ruining my perfect credit score because ABM is a terrible company with zero customer support... all because of a ticket I should have never received in the first place.Initial Complaint

I applied and was interviewed for a position at *********************** in **************, *******. ABM then sent me an offer for the position I interviewed for, it was $15.00 hr rate, Monday-Friday with either 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm. I accepted the position. After receiving my first paycheck it was for the hourly rate at $13.50. I immediately contacted my supervisor, which he never responded to my numerous calls and text messages. I then contacted ABM directly and filed a payroll discrepancy complaint. They responded that they acknowledge that my rate is $15.00 an hour, all I have to do is report the matter to my supervisor and he can fill out a payroll discrepancy. I tried contacting him numerous times with no luck, I left messages and call back numbers. I have received 4 checks now with the wrong hourly rate. Finally after 6 weeks my supervisor reached out to me, not regarding my payroll problem, but to change my hours to 530am-130pm. I didnt not agree to those hours when ABM sent me an Offer for the position I accepted. I would like reimbursed the money Im owed and hours that I agreed to.
