I requested to borrow $100 advance from Brigit, When I checked for the delivery date, it stated that it was on its way in three days. However I later noticed that the advance amount had went up to $150 but I payed it no mind at the time. Three days had passed and I still havent received funds. Two weeks passed still no funds. Within that time, I was receiving notification about a repayment scheduled date to take funds from my personal bank account that was linked with Brigit. I thought this is odd because I never received funds from Brigit. I called my bank right away and they advised that I block Brigit or simply wait for the funds to come out of my account to dispute afterwards then at that time we could place a block against them.I was also reaching out to ************** I even push my payment date back to allow time for them to resolve the issue.. However no one got back with me and since then Brigit has since taken $150 from my bank acct. Wow this is fraud on so many levels and I worry they will attempt to take more money from me in the future per the reviews and comments on the BBB. Brigit has a history of stilling money they never lend out to people. A class lawsuit needs to begin to help victims like ourselves to seek justice on this matter. Im currently doing my research to bring this crooks to justice. Also I have screen shots showing the last actual advance received was dated back in December 2024 in which I never received those funds from bright as well. So again there taken money from folks that they never lended out to them.Business Response

On June 4, 2025, I received a loan of $52.99 through the Brigit app. The repayment was scheduled for June 30, 2025. I was charged $14 by Brigit for their Plus membership without my consent or enrollment. I am only on their free plan, and the app shows no active subscription or option to cancel. Despite this, Brigit withdrew money from my account without clear authorization.I have contacted Brigit support requesting a refund and clarification but have not received a satisfactory response.
