    DO NOT USE HOME SERVICE CLUB. Our hot water heater went out 3 times in less than 6 months and they are still refusing to replace it. It's "rebuilt" or "repaired" and lasts MAYBE 2 months.

    Absolute sham of a company. It is beyond comprehension that this company hasn't been shut down yet. My furnace busted 3 months ago and I called them for someone to come out. They told me that someone would come out in 24 hours. Nobody came, no email notification. I called again a few days later. "24 hours and an email confirmation". Again nothing. 3 weeks of this later, and I got an email confirmation that someone is coming out. Nobody came. I called the company that was supposed to be doing this and they didn't know who home service club was. I called home service club again. They finally sent someone out, the guy told me that it needed to be fixed and he will send in the paperwork immediately. 4 days later, I called home service club and they said the technician never sent in the paperwork. I called **************** and was told that the home service club website was down and wasn't able to send in the report. 2 more months of this and 7 calls later, I was finally able to get to the supervisor where I was given the options of a.) getting another technician out within 24 hours (lost count how many times I heard that) b.) getting my own technician and getting reimbursed by home service club (fat chance they'll actually pay out due to "technical difficulties") or c.) cancel and get a refund - coverage for the previous time active (which was evidently not covered at all) - cancellation fee. Hopefully the better business bureau can take care of this company so others don't have to go through this.

    1 star is being very generous. Stay away!!! I cannot believe a company such as HSC is even allowed to do business anywhere in the **. I had such a terrible experience with this company in regards to my central air it seems that no reputable HVAC company would do business with them that is why HSC is always apologizing for not being able to find a technician. They tell you to do reimbursement process but that is in itself another headache. You only get automated responses the almighty case managers I do nit know how they even sleep at night, they come up with all kinds of excuses they are paid scammers. I am exploring possibly suing them for breach if contract. Please, stay away from this company.

    Made claim for hvac system over a week ago. To date have nothing from anyone to do repairs. Make me wonder if they pay their bills if no one I'd accepting the claim. Called in and no one Is answering the phones three times.

    Don't just walk, but run away from doing business with this company. They will never dispatch any techs in any timely manner whatsoever. And when they do, the techs never show up or even bother to call. So when you use your own tech because they cannot schedule their own, they will fight you and refuse to reimburse you, despite your submitting paperwork. This company is not worth your time, let alone your hard earned money.

    We're dealing with a frigidaire range that the controls are wore out the lights don't work among other problems. Also a Kenmore Frig that the icemaker quit working. First the customer ********************** rep couldn't understand that the second small oven was in the se range telling my wife it would have to be a separate claim. Once we got it through her head it was one unit she made the claim and sent a tech out in a couple days. He looked at it ****** a parts list. They canceled that tech and sent out another. Of course we had to pay up front for both claims before any work was done. The new tech came out and did the same but couldn't work on the frig. When we contacted home service they told us they *** cover ice makers and had sent us a email canceling the claim the day before. NO EMAIL FOR THAT CLAIM WAS SENT. But a hour after the phone call they said they were working on the claim and we could appeal it. We asked for a phone call but they emailed it to avoid being confronted with us. Very unprofessional and seems to be a con.

    It is a bad company to buy warranty services, first, when filed a claim about tankless water heater, supposed to get a so called in network tech within 48 hours, but it does not happen, the customer rep on the phone said, there is no promise how long it will take, when finally sent an email about a tech coming, the person did not show up, contacted that tech, he claimed it was not on his calendar, then few weeks later they sent another tech, this time, the tech just looked at the system, said it needs to be replaced, but the company ignored the diagnosis and decided to continue searching for in-network tech company, this is going on for another month with no resolution. Still the company refused to allow the customer use own tech and get reimbursement for the repair.

    I would not recommend this warranty company. I have not had an decent customer experience. They are holding my reimbursements hostage and cannot resolve reasonably. They were also unable to find an electrician in my area though I found one with no problem. Shop around.

    I wish there was a zero star to give; this company should be investigating for fraud; they are scammers; I have three homes covered with them; every time I make a service request they use different tactics not to respond to the request; they trap me into using my own contractor by suggesting they could not find a contractor ;then they find different bogus reasons to deny my claim; I have submitted complaint to the ********** department of insurance ; I am now looking for legal assistance because they refuse to reimburse a water heater claim invoice after they suggested me to use a contractor. The worst and scammy home warranty ;stay away from these scammers ; I warn you not to be scammed .

    Home service club warranty is one of the worst warranty companies Ive ever dealt with heres an example June 1 2023 input in for a plumbing service call service man came out June 2 never to hear from again two weeks later 2nd service man came out never to hear from again one week later a 3rd service man came out then home service club only wanted to pay for one of the four plumbing problems so I paid out my pocket an canceled them they still took the money out my account the next month two months later August Im still trying to get my money back an they sent me a cancellation letter but Im not canceled in there system
